High-quality and powerful!
Very high quality! I opted for this over the 2030 model because of the higher pressure and new motor design. Definitely heavier than your typical electric pressure washer, but I figure that is because of better quality parts. The Amazon deal of the day came at just the right time. I had been researching tons of electric washers and this one checked all the boxes. All of the attachment nozzles are great. I’ve used it to clean brick and concrete walkways and even connected a foam cannon to it (Trinova foam cannon) for pre-washing the car. I also bought the 25 ft hose extension so I don’t have to move the pressure washer. The only thing that would really make this pressure washer even better is if they included a swivel attachment for the wand (where the hose attaches) so the cable doesn’t get twisted during use. Glad I got the SPX3500.

These are not new boards or fresh concrete
What can I say, the pictures almost speak for themselves. I purchased a home that needed pretty extensive restoration inside and out. At first we thought we would need to replace the entire fence due to the amount of buildup and lack of previous maintenance. But we gave this unit a shot and the difference is like night and day. As you can see, the concrete was blackened from years of neglect. After about 10 minutes - looks almost brand new. Putting together the pieces was very simple, taking only a few minutes. The nozzle attachments fit perfectly in labeled slots. Just be cautious when removing them because they are spring-locked and can easily go flying if you're not careful. All in all, thanks to this pressure washer, we were able to clean/restore 100-feet of fencing as well as the concrete surrounding our pool. I highly recommend it.

Ease of electric, with all the power I need
I bought this with my own money, because I needed a power washer and this one checked off all the boxes. First off it appears that this one is very similar to the Lowes only version of Greenworks GPW2200. I’m a big Greenworks fan and have several Greenworks cordless tools, which I love. I have visions of my garagemajal with a Greenworks wall of tools!! But the Sun Joe has twice the warranty, and is available from Amazon, so no trip to Lowes. Also the Sun Joe is priced slightly better. The biggest bonus is the Sun Joe warranty though. 2 years versus 1 for Greenworks. I did opt for the Amazon warehouse offering. It was $40 cheaper, because of damaged outer packaging, as seen in the photo. When it arrived I discovered a brand new power washer with all contents still sealed in plastic, and completely unharmed. However the outer packaging had been damaged during original shipping so it was likely returned by the shipping company, to Amazon, and then offered as an Amazon Warehouse deal. I’ve had this happen to me on past orders. I would expect something to arrive, only to get a notification that it had been rejected by the shipper for damage. So in this case the product inside was fine, and the damaged packaging is already in my recycle bin. So I’ll take the savings. Don’t be shy about taking a bargain from the Amazon warehouse deals. If it turns out to not be what you expect you still have the same great Amazon return options. On to the power washer. I am very pleased with this washer. I previously had a 13 hp Honda power washer. It was a power house, but it was huge, heavy, awkward, noisy, and just plain inconvenient to use. I seldom got it out because it was a mess to deal with. Plus storing gas, or constantly going to get new gas, and the general mess from gas and oil. I decided I need a powerful electric power washer. This Sun Joe is not as powerful as my 13 hp beast, but it is plenty powerful. I used it to wash the dreaded lovebugs off both cars, immediately after assembly. You do need to use the 0 degrees tip for bug removal, but it has the power to do it. Now with the Honda, if you put the zero degree tip in and found a rock chip, you were stripping paint. This Sun Joe did not seem to threaten to strip paint, just powerfully remove the bugs, and most of the guts. I call that winning. Assembly was simple and quick and only requires a Phillips head screw driver. Mt he hose is a bit short, and that may be the only minor downfall. A 35 foot hose would be a huge bonus. But the hose, and the other parts of this unit all seem to be high quality. I did add a quick connect with flow stopper PLG Quick Release Garden Hose connectors Set for the supply water hose. I’m planning on ordering a swivel Ultimate Washer UW16-PA54A3 Gun-hose Swivel Joint, Kink Free Hose Fitting, Anti-Twist Hose Brass Fitting for Pressure Power Washer Hoses for the pressure hose, so the hose does not twist and tangle. I also ordered a foam cannon, and I’m very excited to do a YouTube video with this pressure washer, and the foam cannon Tikteck Car Wash Pressure Washer Jet Adjustable Foam Wash Gun Bottle Car Wash Gun Snow Foam Lance, Foam Cannon Foam Blaster With 1/4 Quick Connector with Wash Glove. I’m planning on washing the cars and the house. This unit does have the onboard soap tank. I’ll be testing and comparing it to the cannon, but typically the onboard soap tanks don’t throw foam. You need the stickiness of foam soap to release dirt, for a closer to touch free washing experience. Touch free is good!! I’ll update this review after I have more time behind the sprayer.

Solid as a rock
I bought the SPX3500 pressure washer to replace one of another brand whose motor burned up on the second use! First of all, this unit is heavy in bulk likely due to an excellent motor and pump. The plastic housing seems very tough and is not likely to crack from use. When running it sounds very "solid" and is not terribly noisy. The assembly process was fairly simple. It's nice to have storage on the unit for both the electrical cord and the high pressure hose. It is also nice to be able to remove the high pressure hose unlike some other less expensive units. With so much weight at the bottom of the unit it is not going to tip over. There is a foot pedal in the back at the bottom the you can use as leverage to tip the unit to start it rolling - a nice little touch. The gun, wand, and high pressure hose are all upgrades from other units I have seen, especially the high pressure hose. It is not vinyl on the outside but is rubberized fabric like I had on my gas-powered washer. When using any electric pressure washer and to avoid damaging the motor, it is important to follow the start-up process to the letter as outlined in the owner's manual. This will avoid having the pump "suck air" and have it overheat. You should attach the garden hose first; follow that with the high pressure hose and attach the assembled gun/wand. Turn the water on and let it flow through until there is no air coming through with the water. Attach your nozzle of choice. Plug in the unit. You should see a red light glowing on the plug with the GFCI. Turn on the switch on the unit. The unit will run very briefly to establish pressure and then shut off. Squeeze the trigger on the gun and get to work! Detach everything when you are done and drain water from the hoses and the gun. I feel very confident in this pressure washer even after only two uses. Time will tell, but using careful procedures as outlined in the very nice owner's manual will avoid problems in the future.

HEAVY!
First, this item was purchased through Amazon Warehouse at their set price. There was no discount or any compensation for writing this review. This unit was purchased to replace a Karcher that started to act a little quirky. No big deal, I got it for free from someone used and it allowed me to confirm that I wanted a pressure washer. The first observation is just how heavy the Sunjoe is in comparison. The Sunjoe is at least 3X heavier than the Karcher. I think the Sunjoe is listed as 46 lbs and I think that is pretty accurate. It was easier to just pick the Karcher up and carry it, not so with the Sunjoe. Assembly is pretty easy with just 9 screws required. Even taking my time and making sure everything was just right, it took about 20 minutes to have it ready to use. The unboxing is also pretty easy. The main unit and each part are in individual plastic bags and there are some cardboard fillers. No styrofoam pieces to fight with. In use, this things works really well. I think that it should be noted that the rated PSI is 2000 with a MAX of 2300. This is right on the outside of the box. The Karcher unit this replaces was 1600 psi. This is definitely a better unit and it knocked months of crud off my wife's car today. The only thing left was a film that water alone will never remove no matter how much pressure is behind it. I used my foam lance to apply soap and it worked just as good as with the Karcher. An interesting feature is that the quick disconnect for the tips snaps back and all you need to do to attach another is to push it on and the quick disconnect will snap into place and hold it on. The storage thing for the tips works well too. Just simply push a tip into place and pull another out. There are some plastic spring arms to hold the tips and they seem to be tuned fairly well. They come off easy enough and on just as easy. The cord wrap bottom spins around so that you can get the cord off easy enough. It is weird that it has a lot of detents, probably every 10-15 degrees or so. I would expect something more like every 90 degrees. To me, it is just wrong and it feels like you are breaking something even though you aren't. Not a good "user experience" on this item. I know that Sunjoe makes another model with a hose reel. I chose not to go that route because the hose would have lots of small curls in it and it is another link point or two to have issues with. The little hook provided to put the hose on is just too little. The hose is a pretty stiff thing and the hook just isn't big enough to make it easy to put the hose on it. This just feels like an afterthought and they could make it much better for just a few pennies of plastic. One other item that struck me as a little strange is that the garden hose attachment is on the front and the pressure washer hose attachment is on the back. So while you are using it, you tend to be looking at the back and if you need to turn it off you have to walk around to the front to do so. Again, something just a little off in the "user experience". These are just small nitpicks, but I wanted to mention them in case they are truly important for someone reading this review. I have only used the unit once and it performed very well. No issues at all with the working and it seems to have plenty of power. I am not a heavy user of pressure washers but I will use it about 1 per month or more for car washing and then the occasional thing around the house. I am hoping the induction motor makes this one last for a few years, even longer than the 2-year warranty (+90 days for registering online). BTW, one last item that was a little off was that I did not see the serial number on the unit at all. I ended up finding it on a sticker that is on one of the pieces of paper in the packet with instructions. There is also a tip cleaner taped to the back of the English instrustions. Very easy to miss these 2 items.

Powerful and easy to use
I bought this on a deal of the day and have been very happy so far. It obviously isn't as powerful as a gas pressure washer but it's plenty powerful and much easier to use and maneuver. It did a good job cleaning my gross siding with just a standard pressure washer cleaning solution sprayed on first. I used the 25° adapter and didn't need to use bleach or anything.

Great Household Power Washer
I have been watching the Sun Joe line of power washers for months. Finally saw this one come up as a deal of the day for $159 which is an amazing price so I scooped it up. In the last 2 weeks I have put 11 hours on this unit and I am very satisfied with the purchase. I have been able to take years of grime and mildew off the north side of my house, clean my deck, lattice work, driveway, side walks, porch spindles and my cars. The unit is very easy to assemble, setup and use. The 5 different nozzles are easy to remove and attach to switch between jobs in seconds. I bought an extra long high pressure hose and the surface/deck cleaner accessory to go along with the unit. Would highly recommend for standard household use.

Very happy so far
I received mine last week and used it for about 4 solid hours at my girlfriends house last weekend. I had been borrowing my business partners 3,000 psi gas pressure washer for the past 10 years and finally decided to give this electric one a shot despite my business partner telling me I was wasting my money getting an electric unit, but I am very happy so far. I started out washing her 20' X 15' concrete patio that was solid black because it hadn't been pressure washed in over 20 years. I was pleasantly shocked after the first few passes and seeing bright white concrete show up with each pass of the wand. It was so powerful that I really didn't notice any difference between this and my business partners gas unit. This thing has some serious muscle! It was very easy to put together and there were no leaks at either end. The fact that it is probably 75% quiter than a gas unit makes it much less fatiguing and of course there are no exhaust fumes to breath either. I was very surprised at the heft and build quality and didn't have any problems throughout the afternoon. The only downside is of course having to drag around the power cord in addition to the hose because they inevitably get tangled up and that cost me some extra time. I had a blast, no pun intended, cleaning her patio furniture, planters, A/C unit (it looks brand new and is over 20 years old), siding and windows. If it holds up for a few years with no problems I will consider it one of my top buys in several years and buying it during Amazon's One Day Sale saved a sizeable chunk of money. I can't speak to its longterm durability, but turned up on its most powerful setting I am happier using it than my business partners Honda gas unit. Update: 6.18.18 I had to purchase a 25 foot extension hose because the out of the box setup wouldn't reach the last third of her driveway. I bought the nicest one Sun Joe makes and the quality is excellent, but I decided to do the sidewalk too and the combined 50 feet was about 20 feet short of allowing me to finish the job. I need to contact Sun Joe and make sure this unit has enough power to push through 75 feet of hose before I buy another one. After a solid 9 hours of use I am extremely happy with this pressure washer and would definitely recommend it to anyone even at the full list price.

... reading the reviews about how this won't do a great job at cleaning concrete
After reading the reviews about how this won't do a great job at cleaning concrete, I bought this anyways to give it a shot and those people were wrong. It has done a great job at cleaning my siding, deck, cement everything so far. It also paid for itself having it when my main drain backed up in my basement and nasty smelling water stained my basement floor. I was able to spray away most of the crud to scrub it with bleach and water without having to mop and shop vac up everything and spend hours longer than I should have. Unless you're doing commercial quality jobs, this is a great unit to purchase to have around the house. I STRONGLY suggest buying the 25 foot hose extension as it is worth the small price to have. I also purchased the Sun Joe surface cleaner attachment from Lowes because I don't have Prime but that worked out pretty well for $20. It made cleaning my sidewalk and deck a lot faster even with having to go over the area 2-3 times to get that 5+ years of dirt off.
