My dogs love this!

I had one of these beds in the past that was a different brand, and ordered this as a replacement when that one broke. My dogs LOVE these beds - if there is 3 beds in the room they will take the elevated bed first every time. Keep in the mind that the actual dimensions include the feet, the mesh dimmensions are slightly smaller. I would suggest setting a padded dog bed on top of the mesh so its softer for the dog if you're using this inside. When I have it outside I just use it with the mesh so that it helps them stay cooler during the summer months.

Durable, easy to assemble

We had a large size elevated pet bed from a national brand, but our dog outgrew it. Looking for an extra-large, I found the Amazon Basics version and decided to give it a try. The bed frame is simple and easy to install. The bolts seem to be made of harder steel than the national brand alternative, and use a large allen wrench (included) to tighten them down. This is much better than the softer metal with a phillips head on the national brand bed! This bed is less "wiggly" than the national brand. I'm very happy, and so is my dog.

Our pups love it!

We bought one for our patio so that the pups can lay on it on a hot summer day and be cool off the ground. It ended up being inside, with a pillow on it because our pups thought that was a better solution. Now we have two of these in the house with their pillows on top. The pups love it and enjoy lounging on these beds all the time. We’ve even tested it by putting it next to one of their beds which was on the floor and leaving it there for a few days - they haven’t even looked at the bed on the floor! Also this makes it very comfortable for me to clean the house, I can easily get under the bed with a vacuum or a mop to clean without disturbing the pups. Please note that these are pretty large. We bought a large one at first and ended up returning it for two mediums. Our boxers are almost 100lbs each and the medium is just the perfect size for them! Highly recommend!

Nice size & easy to assemble

I bought this bed for my growing puppy. She is a lab/shepherd mix & weighs 65 pounds now. I bought the large size & it is definitely large; it takes up a lot of space, but she will definitely grow into it. If you have a small apartment, this may not work for you. But it was very easy to assemble (less than 10 minutes, by myself). She is still getting used to it, but seems to enjoy it a lot better than old pillow bed on floor. The actual bed mesh seems to be high quality & will hopefully last a while. Overall, nice bed for the price.

Love the size. Room to spare.

XL Size is huge half of the size of a twin bed. I will update give it five stars once I make sure that it doesn’t have any holes after my German Shepherd uses it for a while. Updated: 03/22/19 still strong and going.

The bed is sturdy, easy to assemble, a much better price than the brand name alternatives. You can see from the photos that the large size is plenty big for a dog about 40 pounds. You can also get an idea of the large size based upon a normal cat size. The cats seem to have taken to the dog bed before the dog does!!

Wonderful

Easy to assemble. Dog loves it! He is 125 lbs and the cot part is sagging a little even though the weight limit is 170. So we shall see how long it lasts, but so far it’s great! Very lightweight and easy to move and comfy for the dog. I was afraid the Large would be too small for him, but it’s perfect! I would buy again especially for the price

Beats coolaroo quality and price!

Wish I got this sooner! Our dog is 125lb yellow lab and we got him the XL bed. We had a coolaroo that we bought a year and a half ago but it was constantly breaking and barely held up our dog. We finally pitched it and got him this one and I was so impressed! Same design as coolaroo but much better construction (better bolts, nice straight bars, better fabric). Our dog is higher off the ground and the frame feels sturdy. Absolutely great product for the price. Our dog was very happy!

Great for small dogs

I bought this so that my pomeranian (10 lbs) can be trained to sleep by herself instead of sleeping with me. She has a comfy round bed that is placed on top of this pet bed thingy so that she is comfortable when she sleeps. She seems to like it again and it is the perfect fit for her and her bed.
