I got the copper leather version, size 38N (I normally wear a women's US 7, and they're the perfect fit for me). These feel just like I remember when I was a kid! Soooo comfortable. I wish they were less expensive-- this was a splurge. If they were, I would buy more colors. Happy with my purchase!

Birkenstocks never disappoint! I wear a ladies’ size 7 and I now have three pairs of sandals in 38, they fit me perfectly. (I have narrow feet, so I did purchase the 38 narrow size.) These copper colored Arizonas are gorgeous and were definitely worth the splurge. My only advice is that if you get them make sure you know how you want them to fit… snug or on the looser side. They will stretch and the buckles will leave a mark on the leather. I wish I had kept the straps tighter and had let them stretch. At first I thought I had them too tight so I wore them looser. They got too loose for my liking and when made them tighter, I noticed the buckles had already marked the leather and now I can’t do anything about it.

I know there are a lot of fake Birkenstock’s out there, and I was apprehensive about getting these. I did a lot of research before taking a chance. They ARE the real thing. I have had a lot of Birkenstock’s in my day, all of them bought in a store or on their official website. This time I had a gift card for Amazon, so I was determined to use it. I only wear Birkenstocks (I live in Texas where it’s hot or warm pretty much all year), so I am obviously a fan. They are prizey, but worth the money, I think. I wear mine all day, every day and they last me 1-2 years. Quality product. As usual, they have to be worn in, and they become softer and more comfortable the more you wear them. They are hard when they first arrive, but wear them around the house the first week or two, and you’ll be good. The pictures are after I wore them for about two weeks. They shipped from Leipzig, Germany and arrived with DHL, after just 2 days. I was very pleasantly surprised since they weren’t supposed to arrive for another month! I did read somewhere that Birkenstock will only sell their shoes through Amazon until April 2019, so be aware of that.

These sandals hurt my feet so bad at first. My feet would be aching to the point where I’d have foot cramps as soon as I took them off and I would have to sit down. However.... now that they are broken in... I love them! The sole contoured to the shape of my foot. The straps are adjustable. If you are accustomed to wearing cheapo flip flops/sandals from Target/Walmart, you will have an adjustment period. But all in all, I feel safer wearing these sturdy sandals. I got them muddy by accident, so I let them soak in a bucket of warm water and they cleaned up just like new. They seem to be well made.

I ordered a pair of these sandals in size 42 (I usually wear about 9.5/10 in US mens size) and they feel perfect. It is a little tricky trying to find out which size is right for you, I would suggest going to the Birkenstock website and looking at their official size chart if you're having questions. If you do some research, you can be sure that you're getting a size that will fit you correctly. As far as the sandal, I am very impressed with it. It has taken a few wears to really break them in, and the first few times they rubbed the arches of my feet in ways I wasn't used to, causing some discomfort. After a few wears to break them in, I have no more discomfort and these shoes are very comfortable. I feel like these shoes offer me more support and ergonomics than a pair of Nike running shoes. They take a bit of getting used to, but once they are broken in they are great! The build quality is also fantastic and I am sure they will last for years. (What else would you expect from a shoe made in Germany though? They are famous for their craftsmanship). In conclusion, I have no issue recommending this sandal. They are well made, comfortable, and stylish.

I was worried these would be fake based on other reviews, but my box came with the Birkenstock tissue paper, correct box, thick leather sandals that fit perfectly. I'm a 10/10.5 and ordered a 41 (10/10.5) M and they're perfectly comfortable. I have pretty narrow feet and had to buckle my sandals all the way but I still wouldn't have ordered the narrow size because everywhere else seemed okay, just maybe something to think about when ordering! If you're worried about fake shoes order through Amazon Prime verified only, if they seem fake you can at least return them!

What can I say? Birkenstock's don't really need a rating or review. As long as you know your correct size everything will be fine. Both my son and I wear a size 39. His are a men's 39 and mine are a women's 39. I wear a true 8.5 and I believe my son wears a men's 8.5 as well. I have worn Birkenstocks since I was a kid in high school and they most definitely don't disappoint. Great if you have foot problems (arch issues, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs). The only shoe I can wear while being on my feet all day long and not be in pain when I get home. I believe the Birks in question are the ones I bought for my son. He LOVES them. They used to be known as "hippie" shoes, but they have made a huge come back and are considered quite the style statement for men and women. Considered "cool shoes" if worn by a high schooler.

Fits like a dream, i'm in love. This is my second pair of Birkenstocks. Im used to open toe style sandals, but these are way more comfortable! I thought i would have to break them in, but the were so comfortable right out of the gate due to the suede top and the soft foot bed, trust me its AMAZING! I got the 37 N EU / 6-6.5 2A(N) and its a perfect snug fit. I usually ware a 7 in most sandals and shoes, but i do have very narrow feet. If you have narrow feet, you must get narrow Birkenstocks, otherwise they are to sloppy and it will be to hard to walk in them. Side Note: if you are new to Birks or not used to walking in open toe sandals it will be an adjustment for you. as this style has a loose feel. Make sure you heal, toes, and the sides of your feet are close to the shoe edges. and you should be able to fit a finger between the top of your foot and the top straps. The best advise i can give is get SOFT FOOD BED Birks, if you want no break in time get Birkes with a suede top as well. Its the perfect combo.

Real Birkenstocks are the BEST footwear ever. I have plantar fasciitis and really struggle with fit. I wear them year round b/c I have to wear shoes (not slippers) in the house and I cannot go barefoot. Slip on and off. No hassles. If your feet are in pain, TRY a pair. You will never regret it.

I wear a 7 medium in US (I don't wear any other size such as a 7 narrow, a 7.5 or a 6.5) and ordered a 37 N EU. It fits perfectly. I tried on the 38 N EU in a store and it was a tad long. I have worn Birkenstocks since the 1980's so there were no surprises when I got this pair. . . Comfy and dependable. This is the first time that I ordered the soft foot and they are wonderful. I just returned from a 2 mile walk with my dog and my feet feel pretty good considering that these shoes are brand new. I have a low arch (not flat) and I have to wear them for a couple of weeks before the footbed forms to perfectly accommodate the shape of my arch. Over the years, I have discovered that Birks get even more comfortable with wear. In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy them for my daily dog walks without fear of pain or blisters. If you don't plan on using your Birkenstocks to go on long walks, you don't have to wear them in before you begin to enjoy them. They are ready to wear from out of the box.
