I prdered these lights based upon the reviews and price point. I promptly installed them in our two car garage. The lights are powerful and the housings are well made. They are also surprisingly lightweight. The lights have created one huge problem. Now that I can see the chaos and dilapidated state of my garage, I am in the middle of major garge renovation project including painting and reorganization. I HATE these darn lights!

I ordered the 6 pack and they were delivered within 24 hours. They are much lighter than the 6 two tube T12 florescent fixtures they replaced. I originally planned on switching the lights out one for one but honestly the LEDs are so bright that I only installed 5of them. My lights are installed tight to the ceiling so I didn't care about the pull chain switch and considered snipping it for aesthetics but realized that these lights are bright enough that I might want to shut them off individually sometimes. The fact they are able to be linked in a series up to six is a plus when you don't have many outlets available. I didn't use any of the hardware that was included but these lights came with 3 different types of mounting options. I personally just screwed through the metal in the middle of the fixture. These lights look just like the traditional florescent fixtures but the bulbs are a frosted plastic and not glass. I'm glad not to have to worry about breaking a long tube blub anymore.

Buy these things and throw those old cheap ass florescent strip lights you have away (better yet recycle the metal at the scrapper). Wow what a difference. Bright and on instantly, even during 5 degree weather. Put a couple in my dairy building after getting tired of fighting my old florescent's. I'll be putting these up every time I have a problem with an old fixture. What the hell I was waiting for I do not have a clue! Those old fixtures are not worth my time or yours. Send me a beer and be happy I told you to get these!

Welcome to my Stadium!!!!!!! Only one thing I can say: This lamps are Super bright! I'm very happy with this set, last night installed them and was amazed on how bright this lights are. So far they are working flawlessly. Hooked them with a wifi bluetooth light switch and I can turn them on and off using my phone or with Alexa, so awesome!!!

I put 8 of these in my garage that I'm setting up as a woodshop. Really easy to put up and my shop is bright as a sunny day. Just be sure they are mounted close enough together to be able to daisy-chain them. I have all 8 on one, 15 amp circuit. I installed an outlet in the ceiling and wired it to an existing wall switch so I didn't have to run an extension cord down the wall and/or turn them on using the chain-switch. I can turn them all on at once or keep some of them turned off when I don't need all the light for doing woodworking. I screwed them directly into ceiling joists/trusses and if I wasn't too heavy handed with the impact driver, the metal casing didn't distort noticeably. Didn't use any of the cables or chains that came with the fixtures. I will have to add a bit of string to the chain-switches since they're too short to reach from the ground when mounted directly to a 9' ceiling.

I replaced a pair of 8' florescent lights. One of them went thru 3 ballasts in 2 years so I was ready to try something different. You can see the light in the before picture is really dark and barely on. The other light worked fine. Comparing the 2 different lights (flourescent to LED) the 4 foot led is about 1.5 times brighter than the 8 foot flourescent. Also the new lights don't weigh very much, maybe 2 pounds each. The only draw back is they're all wired for plugging in to a receptacle. I just cut off the plug and stripped the wire back on one pair to wire it into the junction box. I daisy chained the other light to the hard wired light, Easy peazy. Definitely worth replacing old tech flourescent lights with these bad boys.

We previously had 4 eight foot flourescent double fixtures in our 24' x 36' pole barn that has a 12' ceiling height. For the past 15 years I put up with cold weather flickering and tubes needing to be replaced. I now have 6 four foot double LED fixtures and the 5000k makes night look like day. The new LED fixtures are very light in weight compared to the old fluorescents with heavy ballasts. We live in the flight path for a busy airport, I just hope the pilots don't confuse us for runway lights!

I replaced 8, 2 tube fluorescent shop lights with 8 of these and the increase in lighting is wonderful. I measured the light in the shop using an old style photo light meter and the shutter speed recommendation cut in half - so I think that indicates twice the amount of light. I do not like the long cord as the old lights had about an 8 inch cord and the new light cord is almost 5 feet. I had 1X2's on the ceiling to hang the old lights from, so I drilled a hole on the back plate about an inch in from each end and screwed the light up to the 1X2 HOWEVER, I ran the cord down the length of the fixture and it stuck out the other end about 8 inches - PERFECT. By ziz zagging the cord along the recess in that upper plate, it gives airspace, and mounts without tilting. I'm 73 years old and these have 50,000 hours of life - I'll not need to change again :o) Love them.

I may have gone overboard with my garage. But I love it! I detail my car in my garage and often times work late into the night. With this setup I have 8 lights (2 sets) and with the door closed can see everything all night. I also installed 2 outlets controlled with a switch. 4 lights linked together to each of the new outlets. No flickering, instant on. Very bright. I definitely did not need all that I ordered. But for $200, well worth it. I have lost track of time more than once. I am no longer limited to available sunlight or the 2 existing fluorescent lights. Images included: Picture with ranger and old lighting. Picture with CTS-V mid detail at like 3:00 am. Photo of garage with new light setup.

We like everything about these lights that are replacing 8 old (25 yr-ballasts are shot) fluorescent 2 tube x 4 ft shop lights in my basement workshop. We got a quote from an electrical shop to change out these lights and replace with same but LED, daylight, max lumens, etc. They came back ar $2500.+. We’re in our mid 70’s but not goofy yet so we spent a few hours on Amazon and elsewhere and finally selected Sunco as a best choice combinatation of features, customer ratings, & cost so we ordered 2 packs of 4 (total 8). THE LIGHTS ARE FANTASTIC; They arrived almost immediately Delivery was by USPO and the packaging was unblemished All 8 lights were in perfect condition and came on as soon as energized The mounting/hanging hardware is excellent. Most companies give you a bit of chain and a screw. Sunco gives you 3 choices and the quality of the hardware is exceptional Assembly is minimal and easy BUT TAKE A LITTLE TIME TO STUDY BEFORE YOU START-especially how the “S” hooks engage the end caps Hanging the lights is a snap. Use a level and be careful how you secure the excess cord between fixtures so it doesn’t throw off the level or the alignment with adjoining fixtures
