Highly recommend this product and this company

My husband has mobility issues that prevented him from safely going up and down the stairs(15) to our bedroom. This product solved that problem. This item is not lightweight but can be easily maneuvered with the wheels/tracks on all types of surfaces. Highly recommend practice runs with an empty chair and then with a small person that does not have mobility issues to ensure adequate clearance and to familiarize yourself with the operation of the chair and difficult areas that may be hard to maneuver such as a short landing space. Also recommend that if at all possible to have a second person assist on transporting a person long distance up and down stairs, in the event the person in the chair becomes disoriented, or they have issues keeping their hands and feet safely inside the chair arm and foot rest. This was the least expensive alternative. Also like to add that this companies customer service is like no other. They go above and beyond to solve problems. I highly recommend not only their product but the company.

Evacuation chair, no long-term comfort.

This chair is an “evacuation” chair and is not built for long-term comfort. It is best used for going up and down stairs when the person can then be removed to something more comfortable.
