Easy to clean and sturdy

We’ve owned this potty seat for nearly two years and I want to leave a review for it because it has served us so well. I read many reviews for potty seats before I purchased this seat and a Puj seat. I picked this seat, in particular, because it wasn’t padded. I had read that padded seats are difficult to clean and start to smell like waste. (My sister had a padded seat for her son and it smelled like urine). This seat is easy to clean because it doesn’t have many crevices - no stinky smells. I also liked the handles and I like that it can conveniently stand near the toilet when not in use. When I ordered my seat, too, I could have sworn that the description listed it as BPA-free, although I no longer see that. We take our potty seat with us when we travel also, but I never used our seats in public restrooms. On account we travel with our potty seat, we’ve used it in the bathrooms of relatives/friends and in hotels and have not encountered any issues placing it on top of toilets. The seat is also sturdy; it has supported the weight of my growing toddler. Those are the features that I have liked. Having said that, the smaller inner rim on the bottom of the seat is somewhat of a tight fit so that you have to find a small brush with longer bristles to scrub it. I don’t know if they have improved that since I’ve purchased. I use an old toothbrush for that part of the seat. The seat also doesn’t “lock” in to place, so I would strongly advice that you don’t leave your child unattended if he is new to potty training or you might expect him to wiggle in his seat because the potty seat will move out of place. Lastly, I will share that when we received our new potty seat at home, my toddler tried pushing his head through the opening. And while he doesn’t do that at home anymore, I still catch him trying to do it when we travel, so I have to be mindful to place it out of reach in our car.

The best potty seat

After going through a lot of potty options this has to be my favorite. There are no seams for pee or worse to get trapped in, it has handles which my daughter loves and fits on all my toilets. At my house I have the elongated toilet seat and it works great. I also bought one for our travel trailer and it fits that tiny toilet. My daughter has no trouble putting this on the toilet herself and it stands upright when not in use. Great potty seat! I highly recommend this over all the others.

finally found the best potty seat for elongated toilets. The other nickelodeon one that I tried was not suitable for elongated one so got this one instead and although it could fit better and tighter on the seat but I cant complain as this does the job well and my daughter loves it. she is able to sit on it all by herself ( without it skidding or falling in the toilet vertically) and I use this with the bumbo step stool which is awesome combination. easy to clean and no crevices to worry about. I just use Lysol wipes to clean and it is good as new. I will highly recommend this for elongated toilet seat.

This potty seat is wonderful (or as wonderful as a potty seat can be)! It is sturdy and made of a solid piece of plastic so it is a breeze to clean, which was most important to me. We've had several of the cute potty seats that have fun characters on them, but those are an absolute nightmare to clean. I have a boy and the pee shield on those character potty seats did nothing but redirect the pee underneath the squishy seat where it would eventually dry and cause a nasty odor. Trying to take apart and clean the thing every day was horrible. This potty seat is SO MUCH easier to clean because it is one solid piece. It has a pee guard built into the unit at the front, which isn't very tall so we have to be sure my son is aiming properly, but it does have a guard on the bottom that keeps urine from getting between the bottom of the potty seat and the actual toilet seat. Another win for easy cleaning! It fits perfectly on my elongated toilet seat and it doesn't move around. I would highly recommend this to other mommies and daddies!

Stays in place, great product!

The non-slip bottom on this is perfect. The other, cheaper potty seat we tried before this would slip around when my son would try to climb on the potty to sit. This stays in place and seems more comfortable for him. The only thing is that little "bump" in the front is not quite high enough to catch misfires, so you just have to make sure your boy sits back far enough and aims down.

Easiest to clean!

Parents of BOYS - We purchased a potty seat before this one that was a paint to clean (lots of little crevices underneath for pee to get trapped/dry on) and got really stinky really fast. The underside of this potty seat is one smooth surface and a breeze to clean. Love that this potty seat stands in its own vs. leaning against a wall or needing a clip to be tank.

Perfect Potty Seat for Elongated Toliets!!!!

After doing lots of research on different potty seats this one was the best for my elongated toliet seat! It has everything I was looking for in a potty seat for my toddler. It's made of solid hard plastic so it's very easy to wipe clean, has a built in deflector which is great for boys, handles for gripping to make toddlers feel secure, stands upright on it's own next to the potty when not in use so no need for hooks/hangers etc., fits flush on the elongated toliet seat and has a rubber rim to help grip the existing seat to limit the movement between the two. My toddler has no problem getting on and off of it with the help of his step stool. He seems very comfortable and relaxed sitting on it. So far so good! Would definitely recommend this product!!!

Stop reading the reviews and BUY THIS

Our son is pretty skinny and tall so the separate training potty was too low to the ground and the plastic was too hard on his bum. This potty seat is amazing!! He is happy to sit on it every single time, the seat isn't too hard, and the stand-up feature when not is use is the best! I just ordered another for upstairs.

great sturdy seat - fits round and elongated toilets

We changed out our toilet from the rounded to the elongated one and this fits both seats. I like that it is a bit bulky because I feel like my toddler is more secure and doesn't slide around at all. She loves the handles. I like that it stands up easily next to the toilet and the rounded shape and lack of creases makes it easy to wipe clean. It is probably a bit to bulky if you wanted one to travel though.
