This was perfect to place my flat, desktop router/AP above my rack mount patch panel and switch. Appropriate amount of venting and has upward lips to prevent equipment from sliding off.

Pros: I purchased this product as a short term inexpensive solution to getting my pedals locked down somewhere. I use an overdrive, a couple gates, a wireless unit and an aby pedal to split my signal. Everything stays on, so theee is no need to have a slide out drawer. Heavy duty zip ties secured my pedals with no issue. I love the shallow depth! Cons: (these are specific to me and my application)Adjusting the setting on my overdrive for the room is a bit of a pain, my rack is only a 4u and there is a tuner and power conditioner above the shelf. So there’s a pretty low clearance to get my hand in there and make adjustments but it’s absolutely doable. I had to zip everything in outside the rack which makes changing things an extra couple steps. Lastly it’s crazy heavy. (Not really a con unless you’re concerned with weight) this thing appears to be tough as nails. My one real gripe is that I wish it had larger vents so i could run zip ties through from any direction. I will be purchasing a rack drawer that pulls out in the future which would likely remedy all of my issues. Would recommend if it suits your needs! 5/5

This shelf is strong and works well.

I’ve been trying to put together a setup to hide and control all my Ethernet cables and Ethernet switch on my desk. I bought this wall mount 19” bracket, found a Tripplite 1U for my Ethernet snap in adapters and needed a shelf to hold my switch. This shelf worked our perfectly. I could of gotten by with a 6” shelf but wanted to make sure I didn’t wish I had gone bigger in the future. The shelf is very solid and probably overkill for the weight of the switch but that’s ok. It came with black mounting screws, washers and cage nuts. I put rubber feet on the bottom of the shelf so could set the whole rack assembly on my workspace. Everything worked out perfectly. One of the mounting ears had a painting defect, but the screw/washers was able to hide most of the defect. This did not impact the use of the shelf at all. I am very happy with my project.

These shelves are very high quality. Well ventilated and the paint finish is superb. No sharp edges. I liked them so much I ordered two more in addition to the first one.

These shelves are perfect for organizing desktop network switches, modems, sonicwall devices, etc... Keep in mind they are a little shallow, but a great fit for most typical network hardware.

I used this for a Blu-ray player and it fit perfectly in the rack and came with rack screws and nuts.

I'm using this as a keyboard shelf on my full-cabinet 19" server rack. This isn't the specific purpose AC Infinity sells it for, but it works perfectly. I actually started looking because Gruber Power introduced a very similar cantilever shelf, and it occurred to me it would make a good keyboard shelf. However, this one is both better (I think) than Gruber's, and cheaper. It includes all the fasteners you should need if you have a square-hole rack, but the fastener pack does assume a square-hole rack; if you have a round-hole rack, you'll probably need to supply your own captive nuts. (On a telco rack, of course, you'll just need screws.)
