I bought it

This is for travel. I bought it knowing the prongs collapse and that the blue light is a form of torture. Since it's going places with me, I prefer it not pierce holes in my backpack nor do I wish to forget the adapter at hotels (the blue light is special). When I stop travelling the prongs can be fixed in place around a power strip with a thick rubber band and the blue light will shine ever so gently from under my desk reminding me it's still going strong after years of use.

Great product! It is a single usb 2.0 input and two prong electric wall charger. 5v:2.4a. There is a small blue light indicator to let you know that it’s plugged in and receiving output. Works great with my Apple iPhone and google pixel.

Can tell when charging

I just received this dual port Amazonbasic device. Came promptly. Was pleasantly to discover that when you plug it in the LED glows blue (a bit hard to see), but when you plug in a deice to cage the LED glows bright green. Says it rune 50/60 HZ and up to 220V. In fact the manual shows 3 plug variants for US/UK/EU so I assume the only difference is the plug. Thus you need a plug adapter, but not a transformer to run overseas I believe. This replaces with a dual port (10-5-18 for $8.39) an early AmazonBasic 2.1 A 5V single USB port charger (bought 7-17-12 for $9.99) that damaged. Hope this guy runs as long or longer. Seems like an excellent price for a nice product. Built in China.

Works Great!

I bought this to work around the charger built into an iThing charging rack that is no longer reliable. My plan is to eventually cut the bottom off of the rack, and install this charger permanently. In the meantime, I just have it beside the rack, and it works perfectly. Hardly worth the trouble to change. It simultaneously charges my iPad Air, iPad Mini, an iTouch, an Apple Watch, an iPhone, and whichever of the various other Kindles, Fire tablets, remote keyboards, Bluetooth headphones, or the like that happens to need charging at the time. So nice to just leave the watch charger, four Lightning cables, and a micro USB cable plugged in all the time ready to use. Highly recommended!

These work well, there's not much more to it than that.

I bought this two pack of USB wall chargers because the C64 Mini I got for Christmas didn't come with a power plug, just a USB cable that you can plug into a power plug. The C64 Mini is a modernized, miniature Commodore 64 computer with 64 built-in games and the ability to program in BASIC code on. Since it did not come with a power adapter (just a USB cable you can plug into the USB slot on your TV, but my TV's pretty old so it didn't power it) I decided to try these. Much to my delight I'm now coding BASIC on my C64 Mini! And because two come in a pack, I quickly found a use for the second one to power my Amazon Basics computer speakers that I hooked up to my TV to get better sound of than the basic built-in TV speakers, I didn't actually expect it to work when I plugged them in, but much to my surprise and delight they did. Now my TV sounds much better and I have better sound, all thanks to these USB wall chargers. I'm very happy with my purchase and if I ever need more USB wall outlets, I know exactly where to put my money!

Great Charger

Probably the best USB wall charger I've ordered and it's a bonus being Amazon Basics brand.

Works well

I like this 6-port version because it has a separate power cord to plug into an outlet instead of having one massive charger hanging out of an outlet. My version (as of Feb 2019) has a moderately bright blue LED to indicate power. I just put tape over it, no problem. It doesn't look that bright but in a dark room you really notice it. I wish they used a less intense color like red. Construction is good, it feels durable and solid. Rated for 60W too so you can get 2 amps out of each of the six ports which I like. It has no power switch or anything, you just unplug the cord when you want to cut the power. Overall it does the job.

Awesome charger and great price

Nice and tight packaging. Works perfectly well with my iPhone charger. Big enough to easily find it and light enough to take with you. Can't beat the price too!!! And you can tuck the metal charging parts back so it won't even hurt when you step on it, which was super nice for someone who always steps on iPhone chargers lol
