Over the past Two decades I've purchased 3 transistor radio's--one of them being a SONY--neither one of them measured up to the sound that's emanating from this speaker--it's nearly impossible to hit the lottery--I just hit the radio lottery with this one!

Great reception!

The reception is definitely superior! Its lightweight yet feels very durable. Love it for listening to sports and talk radio when I'm outside. The sound is clear and plenty loud. Great little radio!

Clean sound and Superior Reception!

So happy with this radio! It picks up all my stations with no problem. Sounds crisp and clear. The pocket radio it is replacing was not nearly as good as the Jameson. 660AM - Perfect, 1010 News - Great, 101.9FM Super clean. I'm a very happy customer. Great price too!

Jameson's is the best I've ever had

I live in a geographic area that limits reception of radio signals outside of the local area; therefore, I was looking for a portable radio that had strong signal reception. Jameson's is the best I've ever had. The only suggestion I have is a longer, lanyard style holder would be helpful.

User-friendly product

I bought this for my grandfather. He is blind and cannot figure out our modern electronics since they are mostly buttons and touch screen. He loves his new radio, and it’s suoer easy for him to use. Great product for him!

Great little radio AM/FM!

You don't generally think of a transistor radio much nowadays, but I've had one floating around for years that my kids like to listen to now and then. My 4yo daughter said she wanted one. I was surprised that a very well reviewed radio, at a great price, was available via Amazon. This little radio has great sound quality, and tunes in stations very well. Well done!

Best Small Portable Radio

Has a nice sound on both AM & FM stations. Locks in on the station and the attached antenna helps distance FM reception. Hard to imagine a better radio at under $20! Highly recommend. 😉📻

Superior Extraordinary Customer Service/Support of Their Product!!!

I purchased this radio Feb 20, 2018 with a planned nearly 100 mile 5 day/4 night canoe float trip on The Current River in Missouri - part of the Ozarks National Scenic River-way park system - so I could have music and news during my trip that is otherwise 100% off the "grid" - no cell/data service. My trip was the week of 7/16/18. While I did test the radio and turned it on when I received it (it worked) I saw no reason to test beyond that. The first night camp, I played the radio and was impressed with the number of stations it picked up, and about 15 minutes in it went silent. I changed the batteries, and still silent, nothing, not even the light/tune indicator - like it had no batteries. I tried more new batteries when I arrived home - nothing. The warranty says 12 months, and my fault for not registering my purchase on your website within 30 days of purchase - candidly, for a $20 item and considering the typical reliability of something as simple as a transistor radio that worked out of the box - I took the chance and did not take the time to register my purchase. That said, I was e-mailed them my experience, asking if there was anything you could do to help me. They responded same day sending a replacement at $0 out of pocket to me!!! Replacement has performed no problems for hours. Relationships with customers are not just made when a product is delivered as promised, sometimes more important is how they respond when products fail to deliver. These people nailed it!!! Thanks!

It does have superior reception...

Wonderful radio.. Slightly larger than expected but it feels sturdy.. Not cheap or flimsy built. My main radio station comes in strong and loud ..I usually listen to an AM news station and I was surprised how loud it came in ..Very happy with my new work friend... It came well packed and arrived very quickly too.
