PERFECT FOR SOUTHWEST AIRLINES!!! Don't waste money on Southwest airline's own pet carrier; get this one instead!!

I regret buying Southwest's special pet carrier, because turns out it is triangular, leaving little room for your pet inside! I couldn't even bring myself to try to force my pet inside the tiny thing! I made the mistake of 1st purchasing the Southwest pet carrier from the Southwest online store, which is non-refundable, had expensive shipping, and was a huge mistake! Southwest airlines pet carrier had ZERO padding, and almost no room to add any padding! Although, this Premium Pet Travel Carrier has a SUPER NICE REMOVEABLE PADDING, PLUS it came with a second removable padding to switch out when washing the first one. I've taken this bag on Southwest for 4 flights at 3 different airports with zero issues. Handles are comfortable and it has option of using the short handles or a long shoulder strap with padding. Side pocket was perfect for my pet's medications and calming spray. I also like how I can open the carrier in various places and sides, and my cat can see out from any side or the mesh top. After 15 years of traveling with pets, this is the best/ my favorite carrier of all times!! Try it! You won't regret it!

Pekingese Approved

I have a 10-pound Pekingese dog and she fit perfectly in this carrier. She is a little bit larger than your average toy breed and we probably could have fit two of her in this carrier. It's a great alternative to many of the larger name brand pet carriers. It's a lot more affordable, but it still looks like you spent a bunch of money. I also love that they give you an extra pad for the bottom of the carrier. The last carrier we had didn't have removable pads, so once it got dirty enough, we couldn't just replace it.

I had to return it because it arrived after the guaranteed date and I was going on a trip but once I opened it, the bag is great, the color is awesome and it is well made. My dog is about 12.5lbs and she fit kind of snugged in it, that's also why I didn't kept it after the date I needed it. But the bag is beautiful, I wish they had one size bigger =) because I would have totally kept it even thought I didn't needed it anymore

So far I have used this for one trip. My dog found a way to flip himself upside down but has not found a way out of it. It is very nice material. My 13 pound maltese/yorkie fits perfectly. Fit well underneath my seat for my southwest flight. This was also very easy to maneuver around with. The southwest carrier I used before left my shoulder feeling tired and unstable after a long day of traveling. This bag not only looks nice but it is easy to transition with. There is a cute opening on the back where my fur baby could stick his little head out. Awesome buy. If my morbid finds a way to chew through this, I will invest in this again. Because he has found his way out of many carriers.

Tight fit for a long dog

Seems like good quality. I went and bought a thicker insert because the two it comes with are pretty thin. My 6lb doxie fit but if she was any bigger I wouldn't put her in it.

This worked well for my 14 lb terrier! Would recommend. I wouldn't use it every day - it seems better suited for just the airport. Worked well for JetBlue standard economy, and of course worked even better when I upgraded to "even more space."

Great carrier

Just about to get on our second flight with this carrier. It's awesome. I love that the zippers have clips so little paws can't break free. It came with two pads so we can change them when they get dirty. The straps are as comfy as they can be. Nala (6lb cat) loves the visibility and fits with room to spare. I do wish the little pockets had zippers or Velcro so they would feel more secure. I don't feel comfortable storing things in the pockets for more than a few minutes.

I absolutely love this carrier! I just received it yesterday and my cat has already made himself at home in it and loves to take naps inside! Insertable fleece pads are thin so they don't take up much room but make the carrier comfortable. The exterior of the carrier is actually really cute! It is very well made. Price was great for what I received!

Love it!

Love this pet carrier. One of my best purchases. It is compact, well-made, and well-thought out. I love that I can keep my dog inside but allow her to stick her head out the side hole. However if you have a dog as small as mine (4 pounds, 10.5 inches girth), be aware she can walk out that small hole if it's all the way unzipped lol. See photos. I am already getting her used to the bag by feeding her lots of treats and walking around our home w her in it. So that hopefully the flight will go well. I love how fashionable it is too. The brown emblem on the side looks really nice. I will say that in my opinion our 4 pound Pomeranian puppy has just enough room. Technically I'm sure up to a 10 pound dog *could* fit in this carrier but they wouldn't have room to really move around at all. That being said, this carrier I believe is as big as most airlines will allow so if you're trying to travel with your pet in the passenger cabin you don't really have many other options I suppose. Lastly, I was happy to see that it stands up straight without collapsing in or falling over. Highly recommend.
