My second one in 2 weeks

I gave it a five for several reasons. I have 2 can am spyder an RTL and a RS motorcycles and needing a battery maintainer / charger is great price to start with but the add-ons were the main reason I chose this model. The wires you can attach under the seat thru a hole I made into the battery compartment. The battery actually sits on its side so access can be difficult depending in how and what model spyder you drove. I ride them because I am disabled and it's really the only bike made that can be made for the disabled rider. On my RTL 2017 I added a power bar back behind the GPS with water proof connections for 2 USB and a cigarette lighter wired directly to the battery. In the kit you get a cigarette wire adapter, a straight wire with reverse plugs that can be mounted under the seat like I explained above. I am here buying a second one for my 2 other bikes. Making them all the same for easy swap outs. I recommend this product for sure. Besides it really works just plug and play.

Worked perfectly on car battery

Bought this 3 days ago after wifes car was slow to start and kept going into battery saver mode after a door was left cracked open a little. Hooked the battery up and plugged it in. Light said charging. About 5 hours later light went to charged. Unplugged it and put the battery in the car. Started up strong and no more battery saving mode. Great battery charger for the price. It is a slow charge but beats spending more on a whole new battery. Highly recommended to keep around in the garage in case this happens to you

It works

I installed the terminal extensions on a Harley and a Quad (I purchased two of these chargers). I plugged them in. They topped the batteries off, and are automatically in trickle mode (it detects when the battery if full, somehow). Smart little suckers, these chargers. The charging brick has little pictures that tell you what the lights mean, so there's never any confusion on how to use it. They can be used to fully charge a dead batter (may take half a day, but that's expected), or keep what you've got charged topped-off. Instead of pulling my equipment out every weekend, I'm now pulling it out once a month (to start). For those of you that don't know, you need run your equipment or you're going to have problems. These chargers will help you with that!

It’s fantastic

This is an update to my first remark about this little supper might Charger it’s fantastic I have a 5 year warranty AAA battery that’s only 6 months old and it got drained to zero do to my truck sitting to long with out being driven. The electronic drained all the juice from the battery I connected this little light weight charger to my dead battery and I think that within 12 hours it would have started my truck. I knew that it was charging when I put a volt ohmmeter to the battery and it read 13 volts. I left it to continue to charge and within less then 24 hours it was fully changed and further more the battery was cool to the touch, and no signs of the battery over heating during the charge I highly recommend this great little charger

My goal is to have one on everything with a battery

I have been buying these for years and use them to keep batteries in seasonal machines such as motorcycles, vintage cars and tractors, lawn mowers in good shape for years. It does not overcharge, automatically detects 6 or 12 volt, senses reversed connections, and some of the units I have are at least ten years old. I have a Model T Ford with a 24 month guarantee 6 volt battery that typically fails in a year or so. Using one of these chargers on it all winter every year, has made the battery last about 4 years so far.

Brought our lawn tractor battery back to life

Our lawn tractor was only on its 3rd summer and my husband kept having to give the battery a jump. I researched and decided to try a battery charger before getting a new battery. We plugged this in and attached to the battery at night and in the morning the lawn tractor started up right away. Now we use this for the lawn tractor and the snow blower. We've also used it over night on my car when my car battery was going. (I've since replaced my car battery). Definitely worth the money and a good long-term-use purchase.

Works well, inexpensive and a Die Hard- what more could you want?

Saved me from another new battery this winter! My 'summer' car sat in the garage too long and the battery froze (I didn't even know this could happen!) When I bought the new battery they told me I needed to get more than a trickle charger so I got this and it's worked perfectly. I figured I couldn't go wrong with a Die Hard and I was right.

Arrived a week early, in excellent condition

The directions are very clear. It is a smaller unit than I realized, but my old one was thirty years old, and everything in technology gets smaller decade by decade. I've plugged it in to charge a new, but presently dead, battery and will feel better when the orange "charging" light goes off and the green "charged" light comes on. It's only been plugged in for an hour, so far.
