I received this product April 29, 2019. I purchased this item after a strange male I did not know showed up to my home unannounced and has since continued to show up randomly. (I’m a 5’1 female in a sketchy apartment complex mostly populated by drunk college age kids/students and the occasional scruffy person going through peoples cigarette containers) I did not charge this item at all when I got it and have not charged it at all since- I am writing this review at midnight on June 16 because it was STILL CHARGED and the flashlight lasted through the 20 minute walk I just took going somewhere and back. For reference, I turned it on to see if it worked when I first got it, and clicked the zapping button which completely threw me off guard. I totally spasmed in surprise and accidentally almost touched my friend from my crazy arm with the metal part. If you’re expecting an electric fly swatter this will pleasantly surprise you because it sounded like a human cattle prod in a dystopian movie. Though I have not yet bought a cattle prod so in full discretion I’m not sure what the comparison is to that realistically. In total, I’ve checked to see if it still held a charge about 5-6 times up until tonight since then due to reading a review about having to constantly charge it even when it wasn’t in use. So you can imagine my surprise that it was still charged tonight. This thing has the battery life of an early Nokia phone and the sleekness of an early iPod nano. If the high powered flashlight doesn’t scare someone off like it scared my neighbors into thinking I was a cop and causing half the blinds on my block to automatically snap shut, the power of the zap will definitely have an attacker’s chestnuts roasting on an open fire. As for the spray container, it is very durable and I take it to work in my back jean pocket. Even if you have acrylic nails you can still easily press down on the button to spray someone, which I was worried about with my nail hitting the back of the cap. The container is a little bigger than you would expect so it’s more easily concealed in a purse than if you’re looking to have it physically on you as far as discretion goes. Overall, I highly recommend that you buy this duo. If you’re looking at this product because you are a female or you know one who lives in a similar environment, just knowing that you have an option to use something even if you don’t really helps set your mind at ease. This really helped me feel like I was safe again or at the very least able to defend myself.

Easy to carry

We haven't had to try these out, thankfully. This was a great deal for self defense items from a reputable dealer. Cute enough that my 19 year old daughter that walks to work at night will carry them, and it's the same brand that mama uses. She has the pepper spray clipped to her purse handle for quick and easy deployment. The stun gun is for closer quarters. ;-)

Powerful

The taser works great, it sounds powerful. The pepper spray is a great size for my keychain and it fits perfectly in my hand. It has this cover over the button to make sure you don’t accidentally spray it. I think it’s a great set. I’m going to get some extras for my family and friends. I wish they came in different colors though. I love my purple set, but I would have like a set like light blue. Over all it’s amazing.

Well made, functional

I haven't tried the pepper spray yet, but the stun gun I couldn't resist. I am stunned 😁 how hard of a zap it made. it even sounds intense. Hopefully will never have to really use. Spray can be kept on your keychain. Stun gun kept in sturdy holder. It has a switch that has to be turned on before pressing button. I think it would be hard to accidentally go off (as I was concerned about after reading other reviews) It's nice to have this.

Gives me peace of mind

I purchased 2 of these. The first one was for a customer of mine who was being threatened by a neighbor's aggressive dog. She is an elderly lady and afraid to walk her 10lb terrier mix because her neighbor's bully breed was attacking her and her dog. I gave her this so she could feel safe and have some way to protect herself. The second one I keep in my pocket while working. I own a dog grooming business and I groom many large, powerful dogs. I say powerful instead of aggressive because any dog has the potential to be aggressive if they feel threatened. All my employees are trained to watch for the warning signs that a dog is moving from submissive to agressive. But JUST IN CASE I have a situation where a life, human or animal, is threatened by a dangerous animal (or human) I have a non lethal way to neutralize it. Proper training and socialization takes the aggression out of a powerful breed. I hope I never have to use it, but this taser gives me peace of mind.

Amazing Self-Defense Tools

I have been having issues with neighbors who have harassed me since I've purchased my new home. They have damaged my property. They harass me when I am home alone or step foot out my door and my husband is not with me. I do not feel safe and wanted something in case of emergency. The stun gun is small and discreet. It fits into my crossbody purse and I have plenty of room for other items. It has not accidentally turned on inside my purse and the case that it came with had remain in great condition since purchasing last month. The pepper spray is pretty standard, however I like the color choice and that it matches my stun gun. The stun gun has a high voltage! It is small but certainly mighty. When I tested it, I jumped in surprise from the sound and strength. I know that if I need to use it, it would work and it does what it says. I would purchase again in a nanosecond and I would recommend to anyone who want to feel safe. This has helped me feel more secure and I will only buy SABRE pepper spray or stun gun because I am so impressed with its abilities. Thank you SABRE for helping to make me feel safer and having confidence that I can protect myself.
