Great skillet!

I enjoy our new cast-iron skillet, works great for cooking just about everything! I would recommend seasoning it more after you receive it, can't hurt it none. I've used it stove-top, oven, and grill. Get yourself one, you'll not be disappointed. Also, if you're not familiar with using and cleaning a cast-iron skillet, watch some educational videos (easily found on Youtube) so you can enjoy it for a lifetime!

Unique, Sturdy and Great Lodge Quality

I had been looking for the bear cast iron and found the wildlife set at such a great price. I have several Lodge cast iron skillets. This is a great addition to my collection. You can't beat the Lodge quality and durability. It looks just like the pictures and descriptions provided.

Love it!

Very nice, heavy and well-made frying pan. I got the one with the bear because I live in Montana, so it fits for our population of grizzlies. Very happy with the price I paid for the great quality of the fry pan.

Perfect steak every time? Yesir!!!

This is now my top kitchen weapon of choice. It has been 3 months since I started to use it, and I use it at least 6 times a week. I wash only with hot water, dry thoroughly, and wipe with canola oil after each use. It’s so well seasoned, I pert near never need to add butter or oil to cook steak, chops, or even eggs! And The Bear, the art underneath never fails to strike up conversation with guests who see it proudly displayed in my kitchen. Buy it. Use it. Master it! Your taste buds deserve this!!! My steak method: Heat pan to medium and oven to 420. Place Med-thick cut salt&peppered steak in pan. Fry 3 minutes each side. Place pan in hot oven for 3-6 minutes (3 for red, 4 for pink, 6 for idiots) Mmmmmmmmm😋

Nice cast iron griddle

I love this griddle. I have it hanging on the wall of my kitchen where I can reach it when I need it. Very handy and love cast iron.

Bought the entire series, one of my best buys of 2018

Excellent quality - I bought the five piece set and there is a skillet for everything: fish, cornbread, etc. They are gorgeous prints, any hunter or nature lover would absolutely love any of these pans. I also bought the smaller wolf skillet and the large Elk skillet at Walmart in the Outdoor section. These are already seasoned, but I will use Canola Oil to season them and I also bought the set that had the cleaners and handles on Amazon. Love, love, love this set. You will not be disappointed.

Quality and performance

My husband and I remember the food prepared in cast iron skillets from our childhood. I decided to make the switch and purchased the 5-piece Lodge cookware set, along with rack, rubber handle, and recommended brush, soap, oil, and salt scrub. He prepared our first meal using two of the skillets, and the results were excellent. While I dreaded the clean-up, I have no issues. I used the recommended soap, did a thorough drying, and applied a coat of oil as directed. I did not need to use the brush or salt scrub on the hamburger skillet. These are works of art. The commitment to quality and craftsmanship is apparent. We are very pleased to have purchased a product 'Made in the USA.'

Beautiful and useful

I am so glad that I made this purchase. I have used it many times for making French toast and pancakes, but still haven't used it for what I purchased it for, which is making tortillas. It has a beautiful design on the bottom and is useful for many things.

Well worth the money and one of the best gifts for a wildlife person/hunter, beautiful craftsmanship

I liked these pans much when I saw them I purchased five complete sets of the wildlife series, Bear, Deer, Trout/Fish, Duck, and Moose. When they got here, I opened all the boxes because I knew I’d be holding these for months before giving as gifts. Every single one of the 25 pans were perfect! I’m so very happy with these Lodge wildlife series pans. Update : December 2018, Lodge came out with a small round pan maybe 5 inch and it’s a Wolf, got my 5 pans to go with the others. In a few days I can get this 200lbs of metal out of my diningroom and under their trees for presents.
