this is the best play make up ever! although there isn't any actual make up, colors or liquids (that is the point so your kid doesn't make a mess) The actual pieces on here are so real the brushes have real hair the lipgloss pumps like real lipgloss with air and feels soft the pad for your face is soft like a real facail pad. The eyeshadow is soft everything feels real even the lipstick is soft and spins up like real lipstick this could have fooled me that's how real it is my three-year-old loves playing with it and doesn't even care that nothing comes out because it is so real even the nail polish has a bristle brush as well . I just bought another one for my daughters friends birthday hoping she will love it to.

This set is nice quality and realistic. It was rewarding to unveil each piece in preparation... as if I just had my own makeup haul. I bought this one specifically for the pretend nail polish. My little one loves to paint her nails with paint brushes. The lipstick is silicone and rolls up and down like a real tube of lipstick. The compact has a nice mirror that came with a protective plastic sheet on it. Don’t forget to pull it off. The eyeshadow is soft colored foam and again feels realistic. The lipgloss a a rough glittery feel but is pretty and the glitter doesn’t flake off. The makeup brushes aren’t expensive but the makeup isn’t real so... I know this is going to be a well loved gift.

The quality of this set it top notch. The bag is sturdy and the makeup has such a realistic look that I had to prove that it was a toy to my child’s grandfather. I purchased this set for a 20 month old and she loves to play with it. She has great fine motor skills but does still need some help getting the compacts open and the glitter top off if it’s been screwed on too tight. She loves to pretend play with this set.

I am so glad that I shopped around looking for pretend makeup and came across this set. I bought it for my 2 1/2 year old niece. Her five year old sister just got a handmade vanity and had a few kids makeup sets. In order to keep the little one out of the real makeup I ordered this set hoping she wouldn't be able to tell the difference. When we opened it she started playing with it immediately. Along with this item I ordered the 5 year old a real make up kit off amazon thinking she would prefer the real makeup. The real makeup was NOT made by the company that makes this product!!. It was terrible and she was immediately disappointed and we threw it in the garbage after 10 minutes of play. The five year old put down the real makeup and started playing with it this pretend makeup. That of course made the 2 1/2 year old mad. I told the five year old I would order her a set of this makeup. My sister, both nieces and I all played with this makeup for over a half hour and it kept both of their attentions. They would have played with it longer but we needed to run errands. This makeup is so well made. It feels and looks real and seems like it is made with high quality materials that will stand up to toddlers using and abusing it. I can't say enough good things about this product. It is one of my favorite purchases that I have ever ordered for my nieces. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for something safe and fun for their little girls. I will be ordering another set so both nieces have their own.

I ordered this for my 3-year-old niece, and she absolutely loves it. We spent hours putting on each other’s “makeup.” I love how realistic the makeup looks, right down to that little bit of pressure one gets when opening and pulling out the lipgloss wand. The best part? The “makeup” is made of foam so there’s literally no mess. This toy is perfect for that little child who likes to play with Mommy’s makeup. After posting a picture of the set to Instagram, I had a few friends ask me for the product link so they could check it out for themselves. I highly recommend this!

Love love love

I cannot day enough about this! I love the real-ness of this!! My daughter love makeup but since she is only 2 I didn’t want to give her the real thing yet. This is a perfect compromise as it looks and feels like real makeup. She uses it every day and I teach her which makeup is for what part of the face. The powder and blush are insanely realistic even my husband though I got her real makeup!! She gets to pretend to her hearts content and best of all no mess!!!

I absolutely love this pretend makeup set! The pieces are made just as good, if not better, than some of my real makeup! I bought this for my 3 year old for Christmas because she is always asking to play with mommy's makeup. Hoping to avoid a mess and a clean up every time we play "makeover", I started looking for a play makeup set for her. I chose this one because it comes with all the essential cosmetics that I have in my makeup bag, plus I thought it looked so real. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a beautiful set. I can't get over how well made the pieces are. They are very sturdy, amazing quality, and so real looking, plus each piece is functional. The "powder foundation" comes with a real puff. The lipstick goes up and down, and I believe it is made of rubber. The nail polish is empty, but the brush comes out so she can pretend to paint her nails. The lip gloss is also empty, but is an exact replica of a real lip gloss. There is also an eyeshadow with a brush, a blush, and a glitter container. This set comes with 3 different sized makeup brushes, which are super soft on the skin, and haven't shown any sign of shedding, like my own cheaply made makeup brushes sometimes do. The cosmetic case is beautiful, holds all the makeup that comes with the set and more, and is easy for my 3 year old to open and close. I can't stress enough how well made and beautiful this set is. My daughter plays with it all the time. She now "gets ready" with mommy every morning with her own makeup! If you are looking for a pretend makeup set for your child, I promise you will not be disappointed with this one.

The makeup looks real-incredible quality

This has got to be the most adorable makeup set for kids that I have ever seen. I bought it for my daughter for her 2nd birthday because she loves looking at my makeup. Each item looks and feels real! I had to go through and touch each one to be sure they were fake. My daughter loves to pretend she is applying each item. I think my favorite is the lipstick and powder. There is a little mirror compact with it! I would definitely gift this to another little girly girl too.

Can we talk about this ridiculously adorable pretend makeup kit?! Both my girls love to watch me when I sit down to get ready and they’ll get into my makeup ANY chance they get. (I have lost so much of my stuff this way 🙃) I originally was buying them their own cheapy stuff but then I found this. It looks AND feels so real. Like, even down to the top of the lipstick, nothing feels like hard plastic like the other sets I’ve seen. Mom win 🙌🏼

Sturdy, quality product.

Sturdy playable item. I’m not really a fan of encouraging young children to wear fake toy glitter makeup to think their worth is attached to beauty, BUT, in the same way children will turn legos and sticks into guns, even if you don’t encourage toy guns, children will also want to imitate the adults in their lives. If children see adults putting on makeup every day, they will pretend to do it themselves the same way they pretend to use a phone or cook in the toy kitchen. I like that this item is NOT actual kid version makeup. Rather, it is a set of sturdy, realistic looking and feeling, quality TOY makeup. I think it would stand up well under lots of use. The tops screw on and off, compacts open and snap shut, there are brushes on the end of a tube of apparent lip gloss, and fingernail polish, as well as 3 real brushes and an eyeshadow wand enclosed in the ‘eyeshadow.’ The ‘lipstick’ twists up and down. There faux leather case zips and unzips easily due to large easy to pull tabs. Great small motor skills happening in this play. My granddaughter was enthralled. She put ‘makeup’ on her dolls, self, and grandma all afternoon. So for those worried about gender stereotyping, notice my gender free review, let all interested children play with this item, and refrain from accolades of how pretty the makeup recipient is after the fake application! Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, and pretend play is imagination at work. Far better than screen time!!
