Good to have set of guages.

We've bee having problems at work with correctly defining front brake pad wear. I purchased two sets and convinced all the major players to use and record brake lining thickness. The gauges are easy to use and definitive. Recording brake thickness is very important. It protects the repair shop and the buyer should they decide to NOT do the service. For the price, it's a lot of legal protection for a very small amount of money.

Handy tool. The bolt does become loose but you could use some locktite.

Better than I was expecting

I was expecting these to be cheap plastic for the money. They're decently heavy metal blades with thick powder coating. They should last a very long time!

Good quality, bolt holding brake tool together may need tightening occasionally but never came completely apart.
