Worked well for a few months so far

I bought this mirror in July as a replacement to my OEM mirror that fell off my windshield. So far the suction cup has stayed on strong and the mirror hasn't fallen. I live on the east coast and our summers are humid and ~90F. The mirror held up to these temperatures for the few remaining months of summer that were left after putting this mirror up. Where I live we've already had a few 30F nights so far now that we are nearing November, and the mirror has still stayed on strong. I did buy one of those "One size fits all" curved mirrors that you place overtop of an OEM mirror and I affixed that to this mirror. So not only has the suction cup held up to its own weight, but it's also holding up the weight of the added curved mirror I affixed to it.

It took a moment or two to determine its installation, but when I secured it to my windshield pursuant to the directions and it held, I was delighted. works well. no issues getting it to stick

Some POS broke into my car and decided to break my rearview mirror off for no reason. This is my solution. I'm surprisingly happy with this. It really sticks on and stays put. It feels surprising sturdy. It's a really good idea, an amazing temporary solution, and a pretty decent option for a permanent solution as well. The only thing I find slightly annoying about it is that it vibrates when the car vibrates, and my car vibrates just from the a/c, the effect is weirdly disorienting. Really not much of an issue for me though, as I typically don't stare into my rearview mirror while driving, just make quick glances. My opinion on the negative reviews: I had no issues getting it to stick to my windshield. I even tried tugging on it to pull it off and it doesn't come off. My only guess is that it only works on certain windshields. Maybe the people who say it doesn't stick have flat windshields. Mine is curved and it works really well. Also, mine came with English instructions on the back, though someone else was upset that theirs was in a different language. My take on that is, it's a suction cup. If you really need instructions on how to work a suction cup, you probably have bigger problems to worry about.

So Far, It's The Perfect Fit...

The vehicle in question is a 20+ year old sedan w/ a cracked windshield. When the original rear-view mirror broke off, the thought of having it professionally replaced seemed absurd. So, I looked for viable alternatives. This ELUTO REAR-VIEW MIRROR is, thus far at least, the solution. Easy to install in about three minutes, it popped right on the glass w/ no problem. The suction cup holds tight and secure. It's only been a few days, so will update if it drops off or falls apart...

Good quality and stays on even in extreme heat

I had a problem with my OEM mirror falling off even after trying several types of adhesive. This is the perfect alternative. Decent quality and good optics, but the important thing is that it has stayed on even in extreme Oklahoma heat (probably 130 degrees in the car.) I cleaned the windshield with glass cleaner, stuck this on, and haven't had to touch it since.

Our 2002 Dodge Rams rear view mirror kept falling off.. We used every kind of adhesive recommended and after spending time and money over a year nothing held it in place.. Purchased this mirror and installed it the first of November, truck is not garaged so goes through weather changes and mirror is still attached... Great price and works for us....

Perfect size!

Just bought my first car, a gorgeous 07 PT Cruiser. I love it but the rearview mirror was a bit discolored and splotchy. I have my road test coming up so I was worried they wouldn't pass me with it. I bought this hoping it would be a good replacement and it worked! It installed super easily, and is clear. It really had nothing wrong with it. Can't complain. It works perfectly and installed in the same base as the one I had so it won't be going anywhere.

Sucked, Stuck, and been there ever since.

Purchased from Amazon to replace a mirror that fell off my 2001 Nissan Frontier. Didn’t want to mess around with glue. After cleaning the windshield with alcohol I placed the suction where I needed it and pulled the lever down. It sucked, stuck, and been there ever since. Never fell yet. I thought it would have come undone by now being that I live in an area that has 98-99 degree temps. Not to mention that the windshield itself is probably hotter than that. It’s still there. The only CON is that it is on the small side. But I have a pickup so it’s not so bad. For the price you can’t beat this. No glue, no mess, no fuss. Recommend!

I look for these in every car I drive

If you have blind spots and regularly drive on a multi-lane highway or interstate, these mirrors should be a legal requirement: one on both sides of your windshield. After a close call, I decided it was best if I could see the dangers lurking in those pesky blind spots without hindering the appearance of my vehicle. These mirrors stick on well, and they have only fallen once after a long period of time. The design of the plunging mechanism is superior to most, and it really locks on well. Love this mirror. Tried to go with original set up after the stock mirror fell off. Bracket and all. New glue, mirror, bracket. Waste of time. It never stayed glued it fell off right away. Put this new mirror up with suction cup and love it. Really do love it.
