This is a perfect console/tv stand. Height is perfect too. Super easy to assemble and the metal base is very heavy. The wood is very pretty and looks real though it is not real. This is a more slender piece, perfect for small spaces, even though it is long.

Love this piece!! Looks beautiful in my office. I put it together in about 20 minutes. The frame is nice and sturdy. The mdf wood is very heavy and good quality. Would buy again.

Very sturdy and beautiful! Holds all of my books!

When I first opened the box, the task seemed daunting. But I was surprised to find the instructions and assembly were very easy and well written. As a woman assembling this alone, it took me less than 30 minutes and everything fit perfectly in place. The shelves were heavy and sturdy, unlike the cheap kind you get at Wal-Mart for example. This item was well worth the money, I couldn't be happier with it!

Pleasantly surprised!

I was looking for a low bookcase/stand that could accommodate a 4 foot grow light, and this fit the bill. The price was significantly less than what I had found with other sellers AND they ship to Alaska for free (VERY uncommon with furniture items like this). Kudos to Amazon for this. I received the package quickly, and the box was in perfect condition. All parts were there, and in 100% good condition. I was able to assemble this by myself in 40 minutes. Everything fit together perfectly - screw holes all line up exactly, etc. The shelf boards are not "real" wood but they aren't going to be for a shelf in this price range. However, I'm actually surprised and pleased at the appearance of the shelf boards. Overall, I think this is a lovely piece and I'm completely satisfied with my purchase.

My wife requested this. Very sturdy and easy to put together. Unless you're big and strong like me it may be a little difficult to carry into the house.

Good looking bookshelf

My husband loves this book shelf, and he was impressed at the quality of the parts. He was also impressed at how it wasn't damaged in shipping. This bookshelf looks wonderful and is really sturdy. I'm really happy with it overall, and can't think of anything negative to say about it. Fulfills it's purpose and does it well. I guess I just wish that they made a tall, vertical version of these bookshelves to match.

Sturdy and modern.

Great buy and looks way more expensive that the price given. Easy to assemble and a lot heavier than I thought. I’m going to purchase the matching bookshelf because the quality is awesome.

Sturdy, attractive, easy to assemble

This item is very easy to assemble, attractive and really sturdy. The metal support bars and frame are high quality and the bolts all lined up perfectly. The shelves are well supported, even before you fix them in place on the undersurface with the bolts. The only tool you need is the Allen wrench which is included. We are using it to hold our string instruments/cases. The depth and length of the shelves are perfect for full size violin and viola cases. The height of the top shelf is great for opening/accessing your instrument case and using/resting your instrument in the case during practice. The item is definitely strong enough to support heavier objects, like a TV.

A lot more stable than expected & easy to put together

We have a 65" LG TV plus a long sound bar so finding a new TV stand has been a challenge. We were using a piece from IKEA, but it wasn't appealing or practical. I found this and some reviews said that the screw holes misaligned on the shelves, but I didn't have any issues. I'm 8 months pregnant and put it together by myself in about 20 minutes. It's super sturdy and looks great in our home. We got the grey wash and it's definitely got a strong grey undertone. Excited to have a decent TV stand! Highly recommend.
