Great set!
My order and the rest of my supplies came from Amazon today and honestly, I just could not wait to try and make a bath bomb. I found a recipe that called for coconut oil, citric acid, corn starch, baking soda, soap dye and essential oil that had great results in the reviews. Fingers crossed I mixed up the ingredients added the dye and pressed the ingredients into the forms. Imagine my excitement that every one turned out beautifully. I realize the mix has a lot to do with the success, but the forms are pretty sturdy and release well or with just a couple light flicks of the finger or something light weight. I added several drops of each of the colors (I did purple for the lavender half and yellow for the lemon half). I think to get a brighter more vibrant color you would have to add a significant amount of dye. To me the bright colored bombs just seem so artificial looking and cheap. I like a more natural look. The lighter tone I got out of the amount I added to me is far more appealing to my own eye. I have yet to use the shrink wrap that's included. I'll try that after they've set for 24 hours. I think the price on this set is very affordable. For my first time out and being a novice at making these bath bombs it was a success and I would highly recommend this!

We purchased this kit to start our bath bomb making ...
We purchased this kit to start our bath bomb making adventure. I opted for this kit because a mold kit + coloring would have been more in two orders - PLUS I got some shrink wrap bags. No complaints - it all works quite well!

Great first timer kit!
So we just received this on the mail about 3 hrs ago and we already have bath bombs! My daughter (4yrs) and I just had a blast mixing this up! We used a different recipe off of Pinterest and I quartered it... so with conversions, who knows if it was actually correct but it holds together great, comes right out of the mold and fizzes like any good bath bombs should! I thought these were scented so we used a tad more color than we should have before realizing there was no smell so threw in a dash of essential oils... This resulted in our hands kind of turning blue but that was my bad. Shrink wrap worked great too!

Pretty good
Recipe I used~ 1 cup baking soda 1/2 cup citric acid 1 tbs lotion Couple drops of the coloring in the kit I mixed all the ingredients together, if you are making a multi colored bath bomb I recommend making one big batch of It, then separating it into cups and coloring them separately. My only problem with the actual item itself is how small the bags are, when I tried to shrink wrap the bath bomb part of it was left open. I fixed it by putting a second bag around it but it with be twice as hard to unwrap and didn’t look as nice. Some other problems I had was because this was my first time but had nothing to do with the kit. Most recipes say that you have to wait a day for it to dry but this only takes about 10 minutes, though I did have trouble taking it out of the container because I didn’t put anything down to stop it from sticking. Next time I will put something down. My only other problem was the part where the 2 halves are supposed to connect, it wouldn’t stay together for a while but somehow I got it to stick a little bit. Also around the edge it looked terrible, but that has nothing to do with the kit itself. Remember to but the ingredients because it doesn’t come it’s the kit. The recipes above works very well and has few ingredients. The bath bombs I made fizzed a lot more then ones that I have bought and looked very good apart from the edges.

Awesome kit with tons of color options
The kit and colorings work great. Make sure to REALLY overfill both halves of the mold, and then smoosh them together tightly until both molds are able to touch. I found that if I only SLIGHTLY overfilled, they wouldn’t stick together. My only complaint was the plastic shrink bags - I honestly feel like they would work better with an actual hot air gun, not a blow dryer. I couldn’t get them to set right, but for the four molds you get plus all of the soap colorant, I can deal.

Works great! I’m very happy with my purchase.
I’ve been really pleased with this set. It works well, and the colors are fun. I was worried I’d be using the colors up in each batch, but they’ve been surprisingly vibrant. I only have to use a few drops. I do wish they were oil based colorants, but the small amount of water they add isn’t enough to cause issues. I’d use a different recipe than the one they provided, though. There are lots of better ones you can find all over. I personally like the Soap Queen’s tutorials.

I used this for class and Girl Scouts
I am an educator for adults and a 4th grade Girl Scout leader. I liked the molds a lot. I had used plastic ones from Hobby Lobby before. The colors were beautiful. One thing that I liked to do was to coat the inside of the mold with the oil I use in the bath bombs themselves so that the ingredients don't dry/crust into the mold. 9 year old girl scouts loved these!

Simple product great results
My kids love to use bath bombs so I figured getting them to make it rather than buying premade would be fun and cost effective. My 4yo helped make a batch. the active ingredients (not included) can be found in the grocery store (except maybe the fragrance) and relatively inexpensive. Any how we made them and they were a big success. The packaging is minimal, which I really loved. It was a box just big enough to fit all the colors and bath bombs forms. No extra plastic or excessive packaging. I actually keep all those supplies in the little box still, it's so convenient.

Small molds but lots of colorants
I received this and was a little surprised my how small the box was but box has a lot of products in there. The size of the molds are small but perfect for just learning. If you are looking to make large size or giant bath bombs you will need to order larger molds. I was excited to receive all of the colorants to play with. Great value for all of the colorants you receive in the box and it comes with simple and easy instructions with a list of ingredients to purchase to make the bath bombs. The ingredients say to use hemp oil but I am planning to use almond oil instead.
