Well constructed

Very durable knife blade protectors. Bought them for our knife set for our camper. While traveling, items can get bounced around pretty good. Due to the construction of these, I can not foresee that these blade covers will fall off and will continue to protect our knives and their surroundings for years to come. Thanks!

Lined, good variety and protects your knives

The only knife edge guards I've used in the past were probably cardboard and were definitely not lined, but as my cooking increased, so did the quality of my knives. I decided it was time to protect them from damage or dulling - not to mention protecting me from being cut. This set had a nice variety of sizes, and I liked that they were lined. After reading descriptions and reviews on approximately one trillion knife guard sets on Amazon, I went with this set. First off, they came well packed, each guard with an individual piece of clear plastic protecting it. There were several sizes, and I took a little time to figure out which knife fit best in which guard - the sides are open, so if one isn't a perfect fit, you can still protect the sharp edges. Because chances are like any set of edge guards, these won't be a perfect match for your knife sizes, but for my knives even when the guards aren't a perfect fit, they protect the edge and stay on. And yes, you could get a perfect fit by ordering individual guards that match your knives. If you're like me and want good protection for your knives and your fingers in a convenient, reasonably priced set, I think are well-worth a look. They're tight enough to stay on but not too tight, which can be dangerous if you have to wrestle your blades in and out. They're attractive (they look great in my houndstooth knife roll) and come in a nice variety of what I found to be useful sizes. And for what you get, I'd say the price is right. I'm happy with my Noble Home & Chef 8-Piece Universal Knife Edge Guards set, and if you're looking for a set rather than individual edge guards, these are definitely worth your consideration.

Just what I needed

They were exactly what I was looking for. I have a knife block for a set, but over the years I've acquired a variety of stray knives that have been rattling around in a kitchen drawer full of other stray utensils. I sharpen and hone my knives regularly, but keeping them loose in the drawer is both unsafe and bad for the blades. These guards are the perfect solution.

They work!

For various reasons, I ended up with two complete sets of Henckels forged knife sets plus some additional knives. I keep one set in its wood block but had the other knives loose in a drawer. I needed blade covers to protect my hands when reaching into the drawer and to protect the blades. I purchased the Noble 8 piece set and a another 5 piece PVC set. The Noble set cost more per blade cover but they are good quality, are easier to insert and remove the knife, and have a smooth interior that I expect to be easier on the blade. I still have a 12" chef knife,, another pairing knife, and a meat cleaver to cover. If Noble had individual covers for these items, I would definitely buy them. I would also recommend that they let you build your own set of individual size covers in order to accommodate more buyer needs. If they did, I would have bought all my knife covers from them.

Kitchen Safety best product and just crazy simple

These blade covers are truly the superior choice for your kitchen. Kitchen drawer full of sharp blades, you have kids in the house- equals potential disaster. Of all the similar products these are unique with a smooth lining that grips the blade but releases it super smoothly. Having blade covers on your kitchen knives is a fundamental safety factor that you should not overlook. These are your best choice.

These are perfect!!

It took awhile for me to get my purchased items, but by no fault of the vendor....that was horrible delivery service in Amazon’s part only!! The vendor had nothing to do with my items not being delivered in time. These are perfect for what I need them for!! I am Chef and needed something quick and economical fast!! I cook at the Santa Ana 4th Street EEK and was in a hurry to protect my knives as my other bag had the zipper break in me. To my surprise, these bags are AMAZING and I love them!! I ordered two, but one would have been enough. They are sturdy, good quality and love the amount of pockets they have and how good the protect the knives!! I am happily surprised and would definitely recommend these to anyone and buy more as well!. Thank you from one small business owner to the next !! Well done!!

Great product, great price!

I am very impressed with these knife guards! They are sturdier and better made than any I’ve used. The inside of the guards is a nappy texture that hugs the blade and keeps it securely in the guard so they are safer to use, too. I would definitely buy these again!

These are a MUST!

So happy I got these. After slicing off part of my thumb, I became a little paranoid about blades lol. These allow me to look for sharp objects in the cutlery drawer without sudden flashbacks or fear of repetition...

Really nice knife edge guards..

These were a gift for my nephew who is training to be a chef. His mom got him a set of Wusthof knives, I got him a knife case and knew he would need blade guards to go with it. He just loves them. The case came with two blade guards, but he said this set is so much nicer because they fit the knives better and are lined so the knives slide in and out easier without scratching the blades. I have bought universal guards in the past for my old knives that are in a drawer. I just went by price never thinking there was much difference in them. Now I will have to get this set for myself and maybe some new knives to put them on. Thanks to all of you who take the time to post reviews as this purchase was based on what others have said about this product.

Felt lined and hugs the knives securely

Love these knife guards for my Wusthof knives. They are lined so they don't scratch the knifes and they hug securely. Because they are solid and not transparent I am going to do an outline of the knife on the outside of the guard so I know the shape of the knife in the guard.
