Wonderful, detailed etching tool

Marvelous etching tool. I use it for my metal etching, and they turn out beautifully, with more clear detail. Definitely worth it. Would buy again.

Worked for me.

I made dog tags for my daughter's first grade Christmas party, complete with their names on one side and their school logo on the back. Now, my only issue is that the etching wasn't very deep and gets hard to see, so several passes is a must. However, when I found a good sketch font, the names came out great. The details on back were more difficult. I would like it to cut deeper, but that might not be possible. It was also a learning curve figuring out how to get the tags to stay put through cutting, so if you use a Cameo or Cricut, even with a sticky mat underneath, TAPE the edges down as well. I used a piece of vinyl turned upside down first, cut out several tag-size boxes from the BACKING of the vinyl, and then placed the tags in the cutouts and taped the edges. This way, I was able to perfectly line up my designs in the software from the rectangles I cut out first.
