Good sturdy trains

I was quite happy with the product. The trains are sturdy and the kids love them. I got serval boxes and use the trains as thank you gifts. They were very well received from the kids. We have kept several of them and my son has named the engine and really enjoys playing with them.

Well made & great for toddlers!

My son is 20 months old & he loves these! He like figuring out how to connect them, & lining them up & playing with them on the floor & rolling them on different surfaces & exploring cause & effect by pushing them off of things. I love that they are wood. Great value for the price!

I run a child care center and have a little 3 year old special needs boy that LOVES trains. I have tried so many times to find him a good sturdy set of trains that can last a long time as well as hold up to some of the bouts he has. This set has already outlast any other trains I have gotten. I adore the little box it comes with. He is very articulate about which train goes where. The box makes this possible where he can line them up nicely and they do not move around once all are in place (but do not tip it over, there is no face, they will spill out). They will however stay in place if you stand it upright. A nice little display. . I was having a very hard time with finding trains that their magnetic pieces would not wear and fall off. These magnetic parts that keep them clicked together while he plays with them are stuck on very very well. We no longer have melt downs over a train not sticking together while he plays with them all the time. I also bought another set and I call that set his "night night trains". This set is specifically a very very sleepy train set that he sleeps with. We have a whole routine of him putting the trains to bed, then he sleeps next to them on his cot. I give these trains a very high rating. The wood they are made out of is good. The paint does not chip (but my daycare kiddo is not a paint picker). The trains can get dented if thrown hard enough BUT have not broken yet. The wheels also stay on which is another plus. We had a train set that the wheels fell off constantly and that was another trigger. I like how well these are made and how much they are used on a day to day basis by one of the most amazing little people that I know. Thank you for helping me give something sturdy to my daycare kiddo who really relies on these trains being there when he comes to see me every day.

Just what I was looking for.

I wanted a set of not-too-expensive trains to add to my play supplies as a child therapist. These fit the bill perfectly and were even highly coveted by my 4 y/o son who wanted to add them to his collection of mostly Thomas & Friends trains. They're wooden, appear sturdy, are brightly colored and very appealing.

Toy train set

This was a birthday gift for a 2 y/o. It was a BIG hit--the right size and the cars fit together perfectly with the (very secure) magnets. The cars are extraordinarily well made--far better than is today's norm. This set is going to last and give pleasure to many future children, too.

My Four-year-old grandson loves this train.

I was afraid that with today’s modern age of electronics it wouldn’t hold his attention, but we played with it together for quite a long time. That’s with the aid of the wooden track that I also purchased at the same time. The train connects with magnets, which is wonderful. No more him bringing it to me every few minutes to reconnect the cars. It’s very durable wood, and the cars are so cute. The price is definitely right also.

My great grandson was really happy with his group of trains. Loves to play with them. I loved the quality of the trains and the fact they were a toy that allows him to use his imagination in play.

Universal and good quality.

Universal set. Everything is in great shape pretty good quality. No complaints about the trains. The clear wrap around the wood box allows view of the trains but is so thin it ripped in several places during shipping. Trains didn't fall out so not a big deal. I would order again.

Bought this sweet little train set for my two year old grand ...

Bought this sweet little train set for my two year old grand daughter who is fasinated by trains. I was not sure she would like this better than all the battery operated, beeping train toys that are out there but the simplicity of this toy seems to have sparked her imagination. The wheels move smoothly, the magnets work and the size of the cars are just right for her hands. I had to buy the wooden track seperately but still would give 5 stars. She's happy so that makes me very satisfied.

Strong and well built wooden trains!

These trains do fit on the wooden train track that my grandson owns and he was delighted with them! These were a birthday present for my 2 year old grandson. He loves trains and these fit together with magnets so are extremely easy to hook together. Each train has four cars but you can mix and match them however you like. Some cars have unique attributes, like one has a lid that comes off, another fits logs in it, etc. I highly recommend this train set for toddlers. It is well built and should last a long time.
