Great Binoculars for Birdwatchers of any age!

Bought to teach my Granddaughter birdwatching basics. Was so impressed with these 8x21 Binos, I kept them for myself. The combination of durability, quality lenses, lightweight & protective shell made them instant favorites - replacing my “real” grown up Binos. Ordered with the Nat Geo Guide for Kids, which I also kept for myself. Much easier to learn from than fancier books. Yes, I’ve ordered additional sets of Binos & Nat Geo Guides for all my Grands. Highly recommend the Binos & Book for anyone - kid to Adult. A really great way to share the experience and love of nature.

Great for kids- STURDY

These binoculars are great- sturdy and easy to use. My 4 year old son loves playing with these on the trail or just in his backyard. They encourage exploration and independent free play. We also love to talk about all the birds and trees he sees with them. These binoculars are made with young kids in mind.... my son has dropped his multiple times and there isn't even a scratch. I totally recommend this product!!

Well constructed with good optics. Won't break easily.

I got these binoculars for my nephew and I think he will love these. They are serious binoculars and not just a toy. They seem to be well constructed with reasonably good optics for the price. I don't think they will break easily. They are intended for small people (less than 14 years old) as the maximum distance between the eyes is small, but this also makes them much lighter than regular adult binoculars. (I have a large head and I can just barely see through both eye pieces at the widest setting.) These will be really good for getting the boy outside, looking at and learning about the world. The only issue I have with these binoculars is that the rubber eye-cups surrounding the eye-pieces are a little difficult to fold over to allow better viewing for children who wear eyeglasses. They do fold over to allow glasses closer to the eye-piece lenses, but they don't easily remain folded. So for children who wear glasses, one might have to fold the eye-cups several times before they remain folded. However, I doubt young children will notice this much. These are a good choice for most kids, especially for this price.

Sharp image, good fit

Just the right size for our 8 and 10 year old grandkids (adjustable to fit the smaller space between their eyes). And the image is quite sharp! We had ordered kids binocular before that were inferior because the image adjustment was fuzzy, no matter how it was adjusted. Thank you for a good product!

I bought these for my three and a half year old grandson to substitute for my own binoculars he learned to use with me. They arrived well packaged and within only a couple days. My grandson was able to adjust both the PD and the focus just fine. There is also a diopter adjustment which my eight year-old granddaughter was able to set with adult guidance. Both kids thought the binoculars were super. I checked out the optics myself and decided they were even better than I expected! Think Peak Toys followed up on their delivery with me by email to be sure I was satisfied with the product and to ensure they would remedy any issues if needed. Happy to report there are two more budding young birders in the world.

Great toy

It was a present for my nephew and he loves the binoculars! The quality is great and they are actually real binoculars and not just a toy. His mother confirmed that all accessories it comes with make her life much easier. My nephew carries the binoculars everywhere he goes! He explores, learns and is so much more curious since he started playing with his mrw toy! Highly recommend!

Great Child's Birthday gift

These binoculars were better than expected. They would make an excellent kids birthday or Christmas present. The box arrived as expected and the binoculars were in a fabric case, and came with a string to tie on them onto the product and cloth to clean the lens. They have a rubberized coating on them to protect them if dropped. Both girls and boys can use these binoculars and they are exactly as pictured. I highly recommend this product and seller!

Perfect for kids, high powered, rugged design

It was a nice surprise to find the Thinkpeak binoculars here after starting a search initially in stores and not having any luck finding anything that seemed useful. All I could seem to find suitable for small kids were toys and not what I had in mind. These were the perfect birthday gift for my grandson who often comes hiking with me. We like to watch the wildlife and birds and now we each have our own binoculars and have a great time competing in fun to spot critters. We used to share my binoculars but the full size devices were too heavy for him to use comfortably and the eye pieces too far apart to use for a small person. What we like about these binoculars is they are made specifically for kids to use. They are more powerful than what I had even expected for him so thats a nice bonus. We got the green ones which is his favorite color, the rubber casing and grips make the binoculars easy to grip and add some nice protection just in case we have a drop. The rubber is also comfortable when pressed against his eyes. The packaging came with everything he needs to keep them in good shape, a cleaning cloth for the lenses, a carrying case with strap and a simple to read manual. We're really happy with the binoculars and the small size makes them ideal to keep in the glove box of the car where we can get at them quickly when we need them. I would definitely get them again if we add more friends to our hiking group ;0)

Just right

My 5y son loves these. They're are great quality and easy for him to hold and carry. They come with a really nice storage case and a sturdy strap for carrying the binoculars. Hes already been on several "bear hunts" and treasure hunts. We are very pleased with both the binoculars and the contact with the seller.
