Good quiet & engaging activity

Purchased for grandchildren. A 3-year-old and an 8-year-old both find it to be fun. Both will spend extended time working with the magnets.The younger child does flat designs while the older one is interested in 3-D. I had purchased a smaller set a while back. Since they enjoyed that so much, I ordered this larger set. I will say that other grandchildren have only a passing interest, but these two become quite engaged in the activity.

Awesome!

A small sample of the structures that my Grandson builds with the Discovery magnets. We have added to the magnets in order for him to expand in his building. He play with them just about everyday. I plan on adding more so his structures can get even more detailed and larger. Great for thinking and motor skills, as well as being able to put creative thinking skills to work.

Children Love Them

This is the second or third set of these blocks we've purchased, and the first time purchasing them on Amazon. Our kids love these blocks! We have an eight-year old and a three-year old. Our oldest has been a fan of the Discovery magnet blocks for many years, and our youngest has grown to share this love. Whether they play together or on their own, they enjoy coming up with new things to build. I like that my toddler learned basic colors while playing with these blocks, that the shapes teach them about geometry and how shapes work together to form other shapes, and also how magnets work. My kids play with these blocks more than any other sets of blocks. You can't go wrong with these! I'd put them in my top 3 toys to have.

Our Favorite Toy!

These are our favorite things ever! I bought some on Black Friday for a price I’ll never see again but they’ve been played with enough over the years I was willing to pay more to increase our building stash. This is one toy I know I’m saving for future grandkids. When my kids were smaller one would build while the baby smashed, then they build villages and pizzas. Now my aging cancer dad sits in a recliner and my boys build forts then tell him to “fire the cannon!” And he gets 3 tries to throw a rubber bouncy ball at their creation and wreck it. Love.

My 7 Year Old Wanted More

My son has been playing with these since he was 5 and loves them. He asked for more for Christmas. The only issue with them is that once you build something you can't really transport it without it collapsing. Doesn't really matter though. These are great. I meant to order one more set for him but accidentally must have ordered two. He likes them so much I won't bother returning the extra. I just wish I could get him to be better about picking them up and not having them end up scattered all around the house. Ha!

All three of my grandchildren absolutely love these magnetic tiles. Ages from 2 to 10. Endless hours of fun and combinations. The magnets give small children the confidence to build interesting shapes. This is my far one of the best gifts I've ever given my grandchildren. Absolutely worth the price.

These are the magnets you want to buy!

My grandkids (and myself lol) love these magnets. Strong, colorful, and lots of fun! Very nice heavy fabric bag that actually will hold all of the magnets plus some! I had tried several other brands of magnets, and the Discovery Kids is the best!

Kids' current favorite toy

UPDATE: After a year my kids still take these with us on vacations. They take them with them to grandma's. They play with them almost daily, and still love them. Instead of just building with them, they incorporate other cars/blocks and make parking garages and ramps. Great toys! My kids use these on a daily, if not hourly basis. The magnets hold very well, which other brands don't. When magnets fail, children get crazy frustrated. If you'd like to avoid an unnecessary meltdowns, buy these. The clear, rounded tiles are garbage as the magnets are smaller and flimsy. These have been dropped, thrown, stepped on, and smashed. They still work like new. They're relatively the same price as Magnatiles ($1 per tile), but much smaller. I think Magnatiles are a better deal since they're bigger, but we already bought 2-3 packs.. and at that point there's no going back.

Endless possibilities

I first purchased these magnetic building tiles several years ago for my now 10 year old granddaughter I recently repurchased them for my 2 year old grandson and 2 year old granddaughter. They absolutely love playing with them! The magnets are strong and the pieces stay together well. We build every day and the possibilities are endless so they never get bored. These building pieces allow for creativity and exploring possibilities. Wonderful purchase!
