Great Brush For Long-Haired Cats

After reading reviews of cat brushes, I bought this one and I'm so pleased with it! My Ragdoll cat loves being brushed with it and I get lots of loose fur and mats off of him. I had another brush with wire and protective plastic tips which eventually fell off and leaving sharp wires. This is nothing like that. It's firm but gentle. I highly recommend this.

Gentle bristles are very good at detangling long hair.

When we bought our house last fall, it came with a big, fluffy orange kitty whose owners evidently couldn't be bothered to brush him, much less take him with them. We took him to the vet and found out he is 10 years old or so with an overactive thyroid. His fur was tangled and pretty matted. This brush has worked really well at getting the knots out and helping to make him look like a movie star! And he loves the soft bristles, even on his tummy.

Works well but doesn’t hurt as I’m trying to get my new puppy used to being brushed regularly. I have a SHIH Tzu puppy.

dogs with former skin infections from metal brushes...

I have 4 pups. One of them had persistent skin infections. It took many vet visits before I landed in a specialist pet dermatologist office. He told me my pup had sensitive skin and the metal brush and comb from the groomer was the culprit. I bought this brush for the groomer to use instead. The groomer started using it AND a medicated shampoo and after almost of year of infection, the infection cleared. This brush is gentle but STILL brushes effectively. My groomer told me, he's been in the business for years, and had NEVER seen an infection clear so immediately and long lasting. I gave him my brush and ordered another for myself. DEFINITELY recommend.

This is a great brush for dogs with sensitive skin

This brush has been a real life saver! I recently adopted a 5 year collie who is perfect, except she has very sensitive skin. She hated - really hated! - the wire brush I had for my previous dog. I could hardly brush her at all. Then I found your brush on line, received it several days ago, and my sweet collie loves it! I can brush her for an hour and she doesn't mind at all. In fact she revels in it, as if I were giving her a rub down. Plus it gets out all the tangles!

Great for my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and she's a little princess. I have tried several brushes to slick her fur. The regular slicker brush makes her yip and squirm. A bristle brush just doesn't smooth out her long, fine fur. A wider spaced brush with plastic tips didn't work either. A shedding brush with short teeth works well, but she still doesn't like the pulling and any contact on her belly. This brush has given her that "floofy" look, soft fur and doesn't bother her even with daily brushing. Well done!

My two finicky cats will only let me use this brush on them!

My two cats are extremely fussy about who or what touches them. I've tried 5 different brushes and they refused all. Only want to use MY hairbrush! I bought this and Hooray! They let me use it on them! We're gradually getting up to longer brushing times and getting rid of some of that unwanted hair! I'm thrilled!

Great brush!

This brush worked great on my delicate long haired cat and equally as well on my burly short haired cat. The beaded bristle tips kept the brush from irritating their skin and both cats let me brush them for an extended length of time.

Gentle but affective

It blows my mind how many brushes I had to buy to finally find the right one. This is the best brush. This brush is gentle on my maltipoos' skin. They literally just sit while I brush them. However, nothing is perfect. The only thing wrong with this brush is that it is hard to clean. I don't want to run a comb through it because I don't want to ruin the tips of the bristles. I'm pretty sure I'll figure out a way though. Now, y'all have to know that the brush is slanted, why? I don't know but I've gotten use to it. I'm pretty sure y'all will be as happy as I am with this purchase. I don't have to buy another brush, although, I should buy another one of these just to have a spare.
