When my too-large and very old Sears outdoor gas grill decided to stop working, my son recommend that I pick up this smaller Weber from Amazon. It was a smart move for a number of reasons. This is probably the least expensive Weber outdoor grill, it occupies less space, and it still has features which I and my son didn't know existed on Weber grills (he has a much larger model, but it's several years old). The first thing that impressed me is that the refillable gas can (you have to supply one because the grill doesn't come with one) hangs on the side of the grill for very easy access. More importantly, as you use the propane and the tank gets lighter, the grill will tell me very plainly how much gas is left in it. Thus no more night-time surprises when I'm cooking and suddenly there's no gas left, and no place open to swap out the can for a filled one. Then there is the automatic ignition which is powered by an easy-to-reach single AA battery, a very clever innovation. The burners light right up, one on each side and one in the back as well. I turned them on full blast for 20 minutes before using the grill to cook in order to burn off any coating or dirt that might have come with the grill, and it was remarkable how fast the grill heated up inside with the top down. Of course the lid has a very readable temperature gauge so you can more carefully regulate the heat if you wish to. As a result, I could do a roast on this grill without worrying about over- or under-cooking it. Another terrific feature is that it came with excellent, fast, professional assembly. The fellow doing the assembly had a three-hour window to arrive at my house at an agreed-upon date. He called beforehand to make sure I was around, then showed up, opened the box that had been delivered shortly before, and assembled all the pieces, big and small, remarkably quickly. Very prompt, professional and accurate service, at no extra charge. You just can't lose on getting this grill from Amazon. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

Perfect size for us. It's plenty big - unless you are cooking for the neighborhood, maybe. I really like that the one side collapses because we don't always need it and it fits better in a tight space. We got free assembly from Amazon but our assembler said these are his favorite grills because the directions are clear and everything goes together easily. He put it together in about an hour. I hope it lasts as long as Weber says it will!

Great grill. Built to last. Just becareful, this grill seems to vent out the back a lot. Melted my siding by accident. I put it exactly where my previous grill was but this grill just seems to vent out the back more. My mistake, lesson learned.

Best Purchase of the year. We have always loved to grill. But for the last few years we have been in college and didn’t have a grill in our apartment. When my wife and I bought our home in December we knew it was an opportunity to get a grill sometime in the future. We got it just before Mother’s Day and the day we got it I spent about an hour and a half putting it together. It was extremely easy with the directions included in the packaging. We use the grill as much as we can to combat heating up our house in the summer and we will use it year round for sure even in the snow that’s how awesome the grill is. This grill has the perfect amount of flame. It will give you a wonderful char on any steak, great grill marks on burgers and chicken. It has great flow so after you get your char you can turn the heat down and cook things quickly as the heat stays in your grill well. It’s easy to clean. It took me about 15 minutes this morning to clean everything on the grill, the racks are awesome and quickly clean with little residue left over, removing the grease tray is simple and quick. People love the way their meat tastes coming off this grill I put salt, pepper, garlic powder and some steak salt on our steaks and people can’t get enough. It’s not like I’m using some secret recipe it’s the quality of the grill. Buy one today!!

Very happy with this grill so far. The materials are high quality. I love the cast iron grates. Used it last night to grill some steak, vegetables, and veggie burgers and everything turned out great. The grill got really hot really fast. I love the sapphire color. It was very easy to put together and the directions are very clear. It probably took me 1-2 hours to put it together at a pretty leisurely pace. The only problem I had was that one of the plastic tabs on the control panel arrived broken. I was still able to assemble it and use it. I called Weber customer service and they ordered me a new one. It will be easy to replace the broken one once it arrives. The suggested cover by Amazon (i.e., frequently bought with) is wrong. The official Weber cover also seems overpriced to me. I ended up purchasing this one and it works and fits great (with the side up): SunPatio Heavy Duty Waterproof Barbecue Gas Grill Cover, 55-inch BBQ Cover, Durable and Convenient, Fits Grills of Weber Char-Broil Nexgrill Brinkmann and More, 55”x23”x42”, Desert Sand https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072K5YTSH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_1SzPAbF8RDQ76

Its like trading up from a Honda to a Mercedes C-class. I always resisted buying a Weber because they seemed overpriced. And there was always a review from Consumer Reports or some other reputable source that said there were better/cheaper grills out there. Decades ago a bought a Vermont Castings grill based on a CU review. Maybe back then the Weber was not the build and performance champ that it is now. This new model fixes the two main issues people had with its predecessor. !. The gas tank location makes it much easier to mount and dismount the tanks. 2. This model is easy to roll. It took two mentally sharp men with joint issues under two hours to assemble. All the parts were easily identified. The hitch pin fasteners that holds on the top were missing requiring a trip to the hardware store and $.52 for the parts. It could be assembled by one person but lining up some of the holes with heavy parts involved is much better done with two. I've only cooked three meals on the grill so I am still getting to know it. I also added the iGrill 3 with an extra ambient probe. When they work, they are great. But care has to be taken in setting the probes into the base unit and placement within the food is important; too close to the flames and it greatly overstates the internal temperature. And repositioning the probes is not easy because they are very hot. But, this is about the grill itself. I am thrilled. Time to trade in my Hyundai Genesis for a ...?

Thought this might be too small but it is plenty big enough for up to 6 people. The grill is easy to clean with the stainless steel brush. It is versatile enough that you can roast a chicken with indirect heat with not burning or flair ups. 10 year guarantee is nice to have and it is well enough built that it may last even longer. I have have many other gas grills but this is my first Weber. I have been using it about w months usually several times a week. Very impressed so far.

I'm an engineer. This grill is the best engineered product I've seen in many many years. The build quality is BMW or older Mercedes class. Everything fits absolutely perfectly. Nothing is slightly out of line or marred. The instructions are clear and if you pay attention the kit goes together smoothly. They have it down exactly to the last screw and washer. We haven't used it yet (new cylinder, no propane) but I expect it to function as advertised. I also purchased their pizza stone and can't wait to try it out.

I purchased this grill because of its compact size for my balcony and because of the favorable reviews. My immediate reaction is similar to other reviewers. The grill was exceptionally well-packed so that it would have been almost impossible for it to be damaged in transit. Secondly, and very important, the assembly instructions were no less than outstanding - clear as a bell; the video not needed. It did, however, take quite a lot of time to assemble because there are many pieces. I am not especially handy so it probably took me longer than others to put it together. Also, the instructions suggested assembly by two people. I think that's because some of the screw holes do not quite match up and it takes a bit of pressure to align them; thus, a 2nd person would have been helpful and cut down on assembly time. Nevertheless, I did the entire job without assistance. The packaging came with sufficient hardware. The designers of this grill are to be commended for the thought they put into the instructions and assembly.

I love this little grill!!! I had an old Weber that I inherited when we bought our former place. It was still functioning, though it must have been 15-20 years old when we moved across the country. That experience made purchasing a Weber for our new place a top priority. This little two-burner is perfect for us! I’ve cooked salmon fillets several times, shishito peppers, corn on the cob, and other vegetables - all came out perfectly. The grates on this grill are fantastic. As much as I cook fish and seafood, I’ve always struggled with them sticking to the grates. Not with this grill! It heats up fast, is a breeze to clean, and nothing sticks! Thank you Weber!
