I had purchased several cases very similar to this from a large distributor. They discontinued the item, so I was on the hunt for one. When I received this one, I was surprised at the improvements over what I had. First of all, there is a heavy duty metal lip on the interior that prevents the case from being pried open. Second, the cable is very much superior in every way. It has a metal lug on one end that fits nicely in the slot when the case is closed. The cable is thicker and has a nice covering over it. Lastly, the lock/latch works very well. I have had key versions of this style case and they were always a pain in the neck to keep track of. My only beef is that the combination lock seems to be fitted upside down. I highly recommend this for travel use because of it's size and function.

Perfect Multipurpose Lockbox for the house and easy to pack along with you if needed. I throw it in my backpack sometimes and it's great, with the foam it makes no clanking sounds or pill-shaking sounds. Would be great for keeping things out of family members hands. Medications: Bought this for the purpose of securing my prescription medications with roommates and family, high traffic housing, along with it's street values. Not to mention Keep away Children or Addicts, close enough. Meds went missing and I got this, it fits with ease 4-5 medium/normal size 60 capsule pill bottles, 3-4 Med-L Bottles, fits my daily pill separator too. I did take one of the foam insets out as it comes with a top and bottom form inset to hold the valuables in place which is very nice, just leaving the top one in for me makes it sound like I don't have any meds in my box. I recommend the combo lock, as you know many people truly can pick these firesafe locks, and if someone wanted to without me noticing they could not without the code (randomize it to an early significant number or parents age or something the people your afraid about wouldn't have a clue about). I have had numerous safes and lockboxes, and I've paid good money, however, bypass keys bypass those types of safes and defeated the purpose of a keypad combo as they could just open it right up if they found the bypass key(s). ** This Safe Does not have a bypass key!! Which is EXACTLY what I wanted. It's cheap enough that if I REALLY actually forget a 3-digit code and desperately need it, I could pry it open most of the way, saw it open but It would be obviously demolished. I recommend it to anyone who needs to keep things secured within a secure location. It has a great strong reinforced thick gauge tension cable and a slot on the side to cable it to a metal frame, bed, etc. Or it has screw holes to mount on the wall or on a shelf or drawer.. For Gun-Owners: Could Store a large Handgun and Bullets, don't know about a box of bullets, but certainly a clip or rotating mags worth

This little lock box is perfect for medication I need to keep refrigerated and locked up.

I’m giving this 5 stars despite having a few little nags, because it does what I bought it for, and does it well. I’m a delivery driver, so I spend a lot of time in my vehicle in a city, and also occasionally have a good amount of cash tips on me. I got this to hold all the cash I don’t immediately need, as well as my spare house keys, medication, credit cards, etc. while I’m out running deliveries, sometimes in sketchy parts of town, sometimes after the bars close. I’m not a super paranoid person, but a little peace of mind never hurt! The box itself feels very well built and solid, and the tumblers and locking mechanism feel durable as well. The one thing I did notice was that if anything is placed too close to the mechanism, the safe is almost impossible to lock. Scoot it away just an inch, it works perfectly. I could see this causing some serious frustration if you were to somehow get it locked this way, and then have it become stuck in the locked position. Just something to keep in mind. A complaint I’ve read is that the dials are too hard to read. This is true- you almost have to be looking at them straight on to read them. I honestly see this as a strength, because there’s definitely no chance that someone’s going to see the combination when you’re opening it unless they’re literally looking over your shoulder. The other issue that I find tone more neutral is that the foam on the inside of the top of the safe doesn’t stay put inside the housing, and almost always falls out when you open it. On the plus side, you can store stuff under the foam if you really want to, and with some adhesive backed Velcro, you can have it both ways! I will definitely be buying another one of these if I ever find myself in need of a second one!

I wanted a tethered safe to keep a spare wallet under the seat of my car. In case I took the car in for repair, and forgot to remove the wallet, I didn't want to encourage the mechanic from pilfering a credit card (harder to discern than if the whole wallet were taken). This safe is really designed for a handgun, but it works for my purpose. It works for me; I'm happy. Good purchase.

The case seems sturdy. I didn’t try breaking into it so who’s to say. I used it in a rental can in New Zealand to protect my passport and wallet when stopping at hiking parking lots. Which are always a concern. Car never got broken into so it was never tested. Only thing I don’t like is it’s hard to read numbers unless lits of light. Car light was very difficult.

This is a very high quality, locking case. It feels sturdy and made well, that’s the absolute first thing I noticed when picking it up. I have the large size, and it has no problem holding a Ruger EC9S with an extended mag and 2 extra magazines. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend, and I personally have already purchased another of these for myself.

I use this product for transporting my firearm in my vehicle. I have a subcompact 9mm and I keep 3 mags in it. The foam provided keeps everything intact and actually may be cut down to allow for more space. The container itself is pretty thick and right off the bat would deter any thief from attempting to break into it if its attached properly. Speaking of which, the cable lock is long enough to attach under or around most fixed objects easily. This product was well thought out and the price is great. I will be using it until it breaks. I would recommend to others and against other competitors.

I use this in my desk drawer at work for my personal bills, etc. most of the time and will use it when I travel with that really smart attachment cord. 2 keys included is great since one is already misplaced. There is padding inside for jewelry or you can pull it out when not needed. Really happy with it!

All metal, even the little knob. Which is great. The dials feel good since i got combination lock and foam is awesome. I've bought champs one before and it lacked in foam, my things bounced around inside, but this one has adequate foam to keep things in place.
