Works well and heats water fast on 240v
This immersion heater worked very well on a recent trip to Tunisia. Water heats fast on 240v - just be sure the heater is fully immersed before you turn it on. The heater will also cool relatively fast - just be sure to let it start cooling down while fully immersed in water. Comes with an on/off switch, American-style plug and European-style add on adapter and minimal, but adequate instructions. Does not come with a carry bag, but will fit in an airline amenity kit-style size bag or small luggage cube bag.

Just What I Wanted
I was looking for a small, lightweight, travel water boiler and this one fit the bill. It heats the water quickly enough and has the added bonus of an international adapter. I have only used it a few times so can't speak to how it will hold up over time.

Works as advertised and is 66% the price at my local store. Goodbye brick and mortar.
Works great. Not really rocket science. Place in clear, clean water. Takes about 2 minutes to boil a standard mug full of water. Unplug, THEN remove from water. Enjoy!

very hot fast on 220 Volts - works great
works super great, super fast, gets dangerous hot fast on 240 V no waiting. with 115 Volts, it heats slower. Loved it in France and USA. Good to tape adapter on to cord so it does not get loose during travel. Not for children or clumsy people, easy to get burned if not paying attention.

Works good for a non-microwavable mug
It works quickly and does what it should, which for me, is to reheat a cup of coffee in a metal thermos cup. It could use something to hold it while it is cooling down. There is a bit of danger here I would think, for the non-thoughtful moment.

It works
Works as expected. I wish it had an automatic shut-off feature... on the other hand, it would make it more complicated and likely to fail. I will be using with a timer using Siri or Google home.

Super fast - do not leave unattended!
I bought this for a business trip - I put it in a ceramic mug of cold water and then went to check email. Of course, I was distracted and when I returned (obviously much later!) the mug had boiled dry and there was gray dust in the bottom, so I decided to discard it. Clearly my fault. Fantastic product but as they and I suggest, stand there and watch it heat. I'm guessing it takes a minute or less. It looks like the size of the heating element in a much larger electric tea kettle, heck, it's 1300 watts - that's the size of many hair dryers! Would recommend it despite my foolishness.

Great for reheating your tea!
I was having trouble keeping my tea hot until I got this, works great but wish it had a dial for just keeping the tea warm not scalding hot in less than a minute.

Great little coil!
Bought this to use to heat water for tea when I travel --use it all the time. The last trip I went on everyone else wanted to use it too. Small enough to fit in my backpack but the coil is long enough to reach the water in a to-go mug without having to fill it to the top. Highly recommend!

So incredibly handy!
If you travel much then you know that more and more hotels have started the practice of removing any coffee maker from the room and making you get, get dressed and go down to the lobby/restaurant/concierge location for your morning coffee. Ugh! If you use this device properly (never plug it in until it is already submerged in water! it will fry out immediately!), then, ahhh, you can have that morning coffee with just a few steps out of bed! (I taped a note onto the cord of my heater as a reminder to submerge it first as I have fried more than one...)
