First impression when I opened the box was wow, this thing is tiny. Honestly I'm amazed at how well this works to begin with, let alone how well it works for how little it is. This detector was a huge upgrade over a somewhat outdated escort I have been using for a few years. I decided it was time to upgrade after getting a ticket somewhat recently. So far I have had zero issues with this at all and I don't see any potential issues. With my escort I had just disabled k-band to avoid any unnecessary alerts but now with GPS lockout, I can leave all the bands active without the uncertainty of having an entire band permanently disabled which is a huge plus. I also ordered the visor mount which you can see in the photo, puts the information right within easy view of the driver. This allowed me to turn the volume down considerably so I don't have to worry about to any alerts waking my two little ones in the back seat. Definitely recommend this radar detector. It comes pre-programed to the most popular settings and I have not had to change it at all

I am pretty impressed with this thing so far and that’s coming from a self proclaimed V1 fanboy. It’s quiet, in a good way. So much more quieter than my V1, even with using a handful of apps with it. And that’s what I like best about the Radenso, just plug it in and go. So glad I decided to give this radar detector a try.

This is an excellent detector. Has great range, but most importantly, it is extremely quiet! I used to be a satisfied V1 user. But the dramatic increase in non police K band radar sources has resulted in the V1 becoming useless for me. I've had to disable K band on the V1 just to keep my sanity, and I live in a state with known K band police radar. So began my quest for a new detector. I have tried (and still own) the Uniden R3 also and while it's is an amazing detector, it is still no where near the Pro M in terms of false signal rejection. The Pro M is also very small and I find it's easier to remove and carry with me when parking in a shady neighborhood. Very happy that I was able to find this detector! It has served me very well on multiple trips to Boston and saved me from many tickets!

I've had the new Pro M for over a week and I've had a chance to field test it. it's definitely a lot quieter than my 9500ix. The BSM filtering is very good. To date I've only had one encounter with a newer Mazda CX5 that I can trace back to BSM detection. Otherwise, it's super quiet. Once you lock-out the usual suspects, i've almost forgotten that it's on until a local LEO reminds you how good of a job it's doing. I hesitated buying this detector. It still uses a barrel connector; no smart-cord. It's buttons on top of the device are small and hard to differentiate between each other. The alerts aren't very attention grabbing. I have my volume on 8 and still wish it went higher when I have my windows down and stereo up. But this is all trivial. It's small size is amazing. It's light weight and I never worry about it falling off the window and slamming into the dash. It's BSM filtering is what this thing does best! It's case has a sparkle to it in the sun, almost like gold flakes. I like it, lol. It's suction cups are not your standard cups. They have ply to them and feel more durable. Radenso's Customer Service is top notch. You won't be dealing with anybody overseas or illiterate. I love that I took a chance and purchased this detector. If I thought I kept cars more than 2-3 years, I would buy the RCM. I don't see these devices going obsolete any time soon as they are always ahead of the curve!

I don't normally leave reviews but I am just blown away how much I love my Pro M. I was tired of false alerts on my Valentine 1 and was hesitant to buy since I had never heard of Radenso. I did some research and saw several people loving the quietness and the range. I decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did! Finally a radar detector that’s not annoying! Oh and I can’t believe how small it is.

I've tried them all and have always been wishing for one feature or another! Living in Chicago with regular drives out to rural areas of Indiana for visiting family I need the best in false alert filtration along with great range. False K alerts were always a problem with other detectors until I tried the Pro M. Now, I don't even worry about ignoring K band due to all the noise from other cars; the Pro M filters out what others can't. To go along with the peaceful ride, when it alerts I know it's the real deal. The excellent range gives me the confidence I need to get where I'm going safely and without that unnecessary stop we all dread along the way. I have the peace of mind of knowing I'm well protected, and that my investment is future proof since the Pro M has class leading performance on MRCT, MRCD, and Gatso. Threats that are slowly making their way across the US from Europe and Canada, and already MRCT is spread throughout Chicago and NYC. Other manufacturers don't offer support for such threats to their US customers, but Radenso remains one step ahead. Whether beautiful life of rural America or the busy lifestyle of city living, the Pro M has you protected from speed traps and false alerts on all roads! CiHKAL - RDForum member

Let's get the upshot out of the way: This is the best radar detector I have ever used, and I overall I prefer it to my Uniden R3. I am a lifelong radar detector user - OK, I admit it: I am a radar detector nerd. The whole reason I got into this hobby was because I drive fast. My truck isn't a Ferrari, but it cruises just fine at +30PSL and I need a detector that performs, period. To give an idea of my experience, my first radar detector was a Valentine 1. It was a great detector a decade ago (and is still OK), but while I loved the arrows the false alerts eventually started to drive me nuts. In search for a different detector that could do a better job of false alert filtering, I switched to the Escort 9500. I loved how quiet it was with the GPS lockouts, but I could tell that the range wasn't as good as my V1. This really bothered me - it seemed like it wasn't really an upgrade, but rather a tradeoff. When the Escort Max 360 came out, I thought that it offered the best of both worlds so I upgraded eagerly to that. To be honest, I can't believe Escort charges that much for a detector that was riddled with bugs. And good luck reaching anyone on the phone at Escort. In my never ending quest to find the perfect radar detector, I picked up the Uniden R3 a few months ago. Wow - now we are cooking with gas! It was obvious that the Uniden had far superior range to the Escort, and my initial feelings reminded me of how I was in love with the Valentine 1 back in the day. But as I have used it for a few weeks, it has become a little bit frustrating to live with. The biggest problem for me is that while it has GPS lockouts and does a good job with stationary false alerts, I have noticed that every GM, Honda, and Acura set it off. This is frustrating to me, as I really wanted to like the Uniden. But what is the point of a radar detector if it is constantly going off every time I am behind a Honda? Hondas are everywhere! That leads me to the Pro M. The main reason I picked up this detector after reading about it on the forums was because of it's supposed ability to filter out Honda and Acura BSM systems. I was initially skeptical because this is something that no other radar detector (to my knowledge) can currently do, but I figured I could always return it if it didn't work. My first impression when unboxing was, "Wow! This thing is small!" I have seen pictures online of the size, but I was not prepared for how drastically smaller than the R3 and especially the Escort units it was. I didn't even consider this initially when making the purchase, but the small size will make it much easier to hide and is much less annoying when mounted on the window. My next impressions were the only two things I did not like about the detector: the power cord felt a bit cheap, and the buttons are really close together. Also included are suction cups (they seem high quality), a USB cable for updates, and a little card with their phone number and links to the product manuals. In the car, there a few things that stood out to me: 1. The mount is very solid - the detector does not vibrate when moving 2. The display is legible even in bright sunlight 3. The speaker is loud, and I can hear it over my stereo system 4. The range seems excellent - there is a speed sign in my neighborhood that I use as a test point, and it alerts in the same spot as the Uniden does (and both are ahead of the Escort and V1) 5. It does not false alert to Hondas! Let me say that again - the Pro M does not false alert to Hondas! That single point ensures that this detector was a keeper for me. For the first time since all these BSM systems started appearing years ago, I can enjoy a radar detector that has excellent range without being forced to turn off K band. So, is my search for a perfect radar detector over? Sort of. The Pro M is not perfect - I wish it had a better power cord and that the buttons were a little further apart. But with the Pro M, I basically forget that the radar detector is in the car - until it saves me. And that is something that no other radar detector can currently do. And it's something that in my opinion, is kind of the entire point of what a radar detector is supposed to be.

My Second Radar Detector! Huge Upgrade from the Last one( different brand) i purchased couple of years ago, This little guy is the real Deal, Dont see much False Alarms, I run this unit with Waze , Very Happy, I Drive a Ford F150, Have it mounted back of my rear view mirror, The suction cups that come with the Unit is Solid, No vibrations noted, I have spotted more cops with this unit, Very rarely I speed my super charged F150 , Love the Size and Easy to read .

I loved my Uniden R3 and it served me faithfully for over a year saving me from countless tickets. Then one day my uniden R3 decided to false on "laser" every 10 minutes? I had to deactivate the laser it was so bad... The quest for another was on and I found the Radenso Pro M. What claim to fame does the Radenso Pro M bring to the table? If anything it would be it is the quietest radar detector I've ever owned. Very few false alerts and has great BSM - blind spot monitoring filtering, which others like the Uniden R3 struggle with and false laser on. The Radenso Pro M has saved me from several tickets so far. My advice the Radenso Pro M doesn't go off much, but when she does she commands respect! It's probably alive alert!!!! Purchase the Radenso Pro M with confidence and remember to mount it level for best performance.
