Great Gift!

You can't go wrong with these Playco Walkie Talkies! I purchased a set of these Walkie Talkies for my godson's 4th birthday. We had lots of fun trying them out in every room of the house; upstairs and downstairs. Too cold to try outside yet, but the range inside is good and the reception is clear. Fairly easy to use and "right-sized" for little hands. Unfortunately, the set stopped working after a couple of days. I had just received a thank you note from Nick, Playco's owner, so I contacted him and a new set was sent out ASAP. I'm happy to say that after almost 2 weeks, the new set is working like, well, like new! I purchased Playco Walkie Talkies because of the very low % of poor reviews and the high % of excellent reviews. Also noteworthy was how many reviews mentioned great customer support. And I'm even more impressed now that I have personal experience with Playco's exemplary customer service. Nick and his team stand behind their products 100%! So I'm a Playco customer for life (or at least as long as my little guy is little)! Luckily for me, I see there are also Playco binoculars!

worked great for about 2 weeks then just stopped working. Update 2days later

My son loved these. They were easy to use for kids. They were great then about one week after getting them one of the belt clips broke off. No big deal I was a little disappointed but they still worked. The company sent new ones so all was good. Then about a week later they just completely stopped working all together. would not recommend! Update. Wow that is some impressive customer service two days later I had a new set of walkie talkies on my porch. Glad to see a company that stands behind its product.

High quality, low cost

Got these for grandkids 5 and 3. They quickly figured out which buttons to use for talking versus just making a loud noise. These have good sound quality and range and are durable and easy to use, with few loose parts or other dangers for small kids. I especially appreciate the responsiveness of Playco management, which really stands behind its products. Will be looking for more Playco toys for the kids.

Long range is right

Works great. My daughter and her friends use it from across the street and inside their houses. It really does go long range. While it may not be perfectly clear, it's not a cellphone. It's clear enough and the kids love it. It was an awesome birthday gift. The batteries are hard to get in but once they are in the walkies feel more sturdy and they work great.

Hard to believe How Perfect these are!!

I bought 2 sets of Playco's Walkie Talkies. What a Joy it was Christmas Day! I had a set for my (3) almost (4) yr old Grandson and for Daddy. And, a set for my (6) almost (7) yr old Granddaughter and her Mommy. They had so much fun trying them out. The Playroom is on a lower level and the transmissions were loud & CLEAR! The kids quickly learned how to work the buttons and can talk to Mom or Dad from downstairs! They LOVE it that they are so much the size of a real Cell phone (WITHOUT) the EMF's! In fact! I want another set for my husband and myself when we are working at the house inside and/or outside! The RANGE is fantastic! 1.5 to 2 Miles! Can't wait to try out that distance! They would have been Perfect for my Mom who was bedridden for awhile! Thank you Playco! ~ for the speed and good packaging! Will LOOK for you for future purchases!

Amazing Walkie Talkies!

I bought these for my 4 year old grandson's birthday. He had pretty badly broken his leg three days before and was confined to a wheelchair for the next six weeks. I hoped that he would use one, and his seven year old brother would use the other. Then, anytime the little guy wanted to reach his brother if he was outside, he could. Great success! They have an amazing range, have a "ring" to let one know to "pick-up." They are having a great time with these! They get so silly, it is hysterical. The little guy has a happy distraction from his discomfort & the older one is having fun too. Highly recommend these! PS They even have a flashlight on them. Fun!

Super fun for the grandkids

I bought these for my granddaughter, so her mom could keep track of her when she's out riding her bike, or driving her 12v car. They were an instant hit, with the kids running around the house, hiding, trying to find the others via the walkie talkies. Now, I think I have to buy two more sets and have them here because I have three grandkids and they were jostling for the two handsets. The range seemed fine, although my daughter still has to test it in her cul-de-sac neighborhood to make sure the range is far enough. They seem to be a good value for providing such fun.

Work for my family

I got these as a last minute idea to use while we were on vacation with the kids, but ended up using them for something completely different. When I go outside to do gardening and other yard work my children usually come with me and play or “help” for a while. Once the heat of the summer day gets to be too much though they end up back inside and I continue on with my work. But once In the house it feels like every few minutes they need my attention for something. So back outside they come leaving a trail of open doors behind them letting in every fly, beetle and creepy crawly as well as cooling off the entire neighborhood with our air conditioner. No matter how many times I say close the door behind you they still manage to forget. I started leaving them with one Playco walkie talkie taking the other outside with me. Now when they need me for anything they can call me on the walkie talkie instead of coming outside and leaving the doors open. They get a kick out of it and the cool air stays in our house for me to enjoy when my work is done. The sound quality is clear and I have no problems understanding the kids. They are easy to use…only a few channels (which we don’t change once set) and not many buttons. The kids like the call button feature which makes the walkie talkie ring like a phone. We have not used them at any great distance so I am unable to speak to the range. For my family’s needs these work great.

Much better than the “Spy Gear”set I purchased at Target

My kids (8 and 4) are really enjoying these. The sound is very clear with no static and they have quite a long range as well. They seem sturdy and are easy enough for my 4 year old to operate. Note: belt clips are removable and must be removed (gently) prior to inserting batteries. Great product, no complaints. I was impressed to receive a hand written thank you postcard from the Playco Products owner in the mail just a week after my purchase.

The customer service!

My son turned 4 and wanted walkie Talkies so I purchased them from Playco Products. They say that they can work up to 2 miles, which we haven't yet tried out, but our son loves them in the house (it's freezing outside right now, but we are looking forward to using them come spring!!! We received a very sweet post card thanking us for our purchase and it really added a special touch that I most certainly appreciated. Being a family owned company, I feel like they took the extra step to touch base with their customers and that meant a lot to me. Thank you, Nick!
