Great reach and cuts smoothly
Cuts smoothly and works great. Light weight compared to the heavy one it replaced. Trimmed 15+ large bushes with 0 fatigue.

Always reliable
We bought this to replace an old Black and Decker trimmer that we had for many years. Since it was very reliable and worked for so long, we decided to stick with what we know and buy a similar product. The new one has only been used once, but it worked well and felt familiar, so we are happy. If it lasts as long as its predecessor, we will be satisfied. The only complaint is not with the trimmer, but with the delivery. It did not come in a shipping box but just in the Black and Decker box. The problem is that the bottom of the box had been taped closed originally, but the tape had dried out and let go, and the bottom was totally open. We were surprised that it was delivered that way, because the shipper and the delivery person would have had to hold the bottom closed to get every step along the way. It was propped against the side of my door, and when we picked it up, the contents fell out. Luckily, all seemed to be there somehow.

Great little trimmers!!!
Ok let me start by saying I moved to a "neighborhood" house from a 90 acre farm. I am used to heavy duty equipment and it working on demand. I had 2 B & D hedge trimmers one I sold and the other was lost in the move they were large and awesome, When I rec'd this package it didn't look very large then I opened the box and was really disappointed, small trimmer, "great, what am I going to cut with these?" is what I said to myself. But, I figured I would at least try, to my surprise I was awed by these trimmers! I put the handle and guard on, comes with screws attached, off I went to tackle the jungle lol, these cut thru branches I thought would be way to much for these little guys. I did have to push a little bit on ones close to an inch but other than that they worked great and were light enough that I did not get tired as I had a lot of trimming to do. Just because something is smaller it should not be underestimated. I am very pleased with these trimmers and look forward to the next clean-up. They have a wire holder on them so the cord does not get accidentally cut too! I've cut a few cords in my day I know what a drag that can be lol..hope this helps!

Light and easy to use
Rec'd the B&D electric trimmer and it is great. We don't have much to trim and it is perfect for our needs. Before we had a battery operated trimmer and it was worthless. Seemed like it was just hacking at the bushes, but we took it back and ordered the B&D trimmer and you can zip thru a lot of bushes in a short amount of time. Highly recommend it.

Light enough to easily hold at arms length and trim those spots that would otherwise be out of reach. You do have o hold the switch down. Personally I think that is a good thing. Nothing would be worse than dropping it and having it continue to run.

Works Great, Easy to Manipulate, Does what I Hoped It Would Do!
I was uncertain after reading reviews, and decided that Black+Decker had good ratings and is a trusted and reliable brand. I am very happy with the purchase. The unit and its operations does not demonstrate any of the negative reviews of other products, so if you want a solid brand and device, and the specifications match what you want, this is definitely one to buy.

Inexpensive with a lot of power
This item is plug in, no battery. It worked really well, I also included a photo of a thick branch, it’s circumference was maybe an inch thick and it cut through, no problem.

Excellent Trimmer
Great trimmer. My previous Black and Decker trimmer lasted over thirty-five years, so I just bought this new one. It performs great. Light and easy to use.

Gold standard for outdoor trimming
I've never been a fan of cordless/battery powered trimmers. I've tried a few and I know they've come a long way in the past few years in terms of battery strength and charge but I prefer to be tethered to actual electricity. I can cut when I want for as long as I want and that's more important to me than the convenience of not being tied to an extension cord. And with this, you get a trimmer that has power, is fairly lightweight, has a safety trigger and a loop slot for your cord to keep it behind you during use so you won't cut into it. This thing will cut fairly big stems and branches. If it will fit into the slot, it will cut it. It's fast, not too loud, dependable and keeps a sharp blade after seasons of use. I just replaced my old one with this new one (same model) but I got about 6 years of use out of the first one and that's a bargain for the price.

Well built & sturdy.
Very well built sturdy trimmer. It's not a chainsaw, so I don't know about tackling 3/4"branches, but it trims hedges nicely. Sure beats a battery operated trimmer.
