Happy with this product!

I ordered these walkie talkies about a month ago and they have been great! They are a little bigger than I thought, which isn't a bad thing. I ordered them because I'm not ready for my kids to have cell phones, but I like to be able to stay in contact with them when they ride their bikes to a friend's house or to the park. I can radio them to see if they made it to their destination and to tell them when it's time to come home. I plan on using them a lot with my kids for the summer, for scavenger hunts, hide and seek and other activities. I recommend these walkie talkies!

AWSOME PRODUCT!!! Bought these for us and our nurses for our special needs child, they have a great range (considering we live in the mouthing still getting at least a solid 2 miles...not tested farther yet)...received quickly. 3 out of 4 were perfect 1 came in a different language, but the company was AWSOME!!!! Fixed us up Pronto plan on buying another set soon!!!

These work great! Highly recommend them. Took them to amusement park so we could communicate with younger kids who don’t have phones. They worked when we were on opposite ends of the park.

Awsome product and customer service!

These work great! The sound is clear, loud and they reach AT LEAST 1.2 miles in dense urban environment. I also leave these in different areas around my house so they can serve like a speaker system for everyone to hear. They work great, battery life is fantastic! And the customer service is no joke at all, they are very serious about backing their products. I may be buying more of these in the future, loved them!

Just what expected

Very happy with these radios, the kids love using them around the house and in the yard. Range is about a mile so far that we have tested.

I used these at a wedding I was the coordinator for and they were excellent!! Super easy to use and very clear! I put them on my security/ushers and used the ear pieces. Very comfortable fitting and light weight! I plan to use them a lot more. Just one side note...the cords on the ear pieces are fragile and break easily so be careful. UPDATE: the customer service is excellent with Arcshell!! I told them about the ear piece and they sent me new ones!!

Solid talkies, exceeded expectations

We bought these for our 4-7 year old boys and they loved them...and so do mom and dad. A lot of questions here about range. We didn’t test the 2 mile mark but one of our boys was in our basement and another at a friends house a block or two away and it was crystal clear. The talkies look and feel great, and audibly call out the stations you switch to so you don’t have to squint to see which one you’re on. Very solid all around, impressed by the value for the money.

Amazing cost-effective radios, what more is there?

These radios work great and I use them for on my construction site for obvious reasons. I initially purchased four radios and because of how well they functioned on-site, I decided to purchase another two radios. But herein lies - what I would call a slight inconvenience - my issue between my first order of radios and my second order of radios as I could not fathom as to why my first set would not communicate with my second set. And since we're being honest here, I can't say that I know a lot about radio frequencies and all the cool things that you can do with fine tuning it but I'm sure it cannot be *that* difficult to figure out after a couple of Google searches. Anyways, back to my story; I emailed the vendor who sold me the radios and simply asked them "WTF?" (I'm paraphrasing here) and I was informed that sometimes....just sometimes...the radios come with different preprogrammed frequencies which has a tendency to not be able to communicate with others (there definitely is a segregation/marriage/men are from Mars and women are from Venus joke in there somewhere). But there is a way to fix your marriage...I mean communication issue. Ashley, from Arcshell, was my contact person and she basically told me what I just said above - sans jokes - and quickly rectified the issue by sending me the appropriate cable needed to connect the radios to my computer, use a program, reprogram radios, and that's all she wrote. Albeit, the program was not as user friendly nor intuitive as one might hope, but then again, these millennials can barely boil water without getting triggered and labeling the boiling water as being chauvinistic. In all seriousness, these radios work great and you may or may not have issues with the radios communicating with each other but given the fast and efficient responses that I got from Ashley, no one will have problems getting the radios to work. If you have the issue that I had, is it an inconvenience? Yes, but again, can be easily fixed; especially when Ashley sends you step-by-step instructions on how to navigate through the program and does it better by even including screenshots to really make sure you don't mess it up. All in all, I still endorse these radios and I will, most likely, purchase more because why not? I don't think it would be fair to dock them a star rating because everything can be fully functional as long as you follow the instructions. And this part only applies to you, if and only if, you stumble upon an issue like mine and I can only imagine that it's few and far between. Buy these radios, you won't regret it. It does exactly what it is intended to do and I love using it on a construction site because as you may or may not know, most of these construction people are like animals with some being more in line with a Silverback Gorilla.

Great for the price point!

It was initially disappointed with the quality of the headsets for these walkie-talkies and said as much in my original review. An Archshell representative reached out to me immediately,oncerned about a less than satisfactory experience with their product, and offered to send me four higher-quality more sturdy headsets. This they did and the headsets are far superior than the ones that came with the original order. I am very happy with the way it all works now and hope that they will improve the quality of the headsets they send with the walkie-talkies so that the product is five stars right from the start. Props for very good customer service and I wish the company lots of luck

Good quality for the price.

They walkke talkies worked fine. I bought the 4 pack with 4 ear piece headsets. One of the 4 ear pieces didn't work out of the box, but everything else worked fine for my camping trip. UPDATE: Arcshell read my original (above) review, contacted me on their own, and not only replaced my broken headset piece, they shipped me an extra one for free of charge! I changed my review from 4 to 5 stars for excellent customer service. They really went above, and beyond. Also, it's been a few months now, and the walkies are still working great despite taking a fair amount of abuse.
