Sleep 😴 improved drastically!!

This is the best purchase I’ve made this year!!! I’ve worked night shift they past 6 years. Sometimes falling asleep is a big problem. I purchased the 20 lb. With this blanket I can fall asleep in 5 minutes. NO JOKE! You feel snug and relax quickly. I have been raving about this blanket to everyone. Very well made. I bought a queen but wish I had bought 2 twin or lap size. One for me and one for him who hogs the blanket!! I suggest buying a duvet for easy washing!!

Really comforting! I've used this blanket for over a week now and haven't found anything I don't like about it. It can get a little hot for me due to the weight, but well worth it for soothing anxiety. Also, found it good for keeping calm during Chronic Migraine attacks.

Great blanket!

I ordered this weighted blanket in grey, in the 48"x78", 15 lb, size from Amazon. I am a female, weighing 145 lbs. I chose this weighted blanket over others based on price, reviews, and the money-back guarantee. I was a little apprehensive about ordering this online. However, I wasn't disappointed. The delivery was as promised. I wanted the blanket to help me with anxiety. I haven't slept with it as much as I have used it during an anxiety attack...either in bed or on the couch. It's heavy, but not too heavy. My husband tried it while napping and loved how it gave that weight and also kept him in one place, versus rolling over onto his side or onto his stomach. He said it provided a better quality sleep. I am happy that I purchased this blanket!

I TRIED IT AND I LIKED IT

I tried it and I really liked it! The blanket is well made and is actually pretty. I didn't expect that. I've always like heavy bedding but it always seemed too hot. This is just right. I don't know how it can seem so substantial and yet not be too warm for sleeping. There really is a calm secure feeling when pulling it over you. I've been a light sleeper all my life and I feel like this blanket actually does help. I got the 12 lbs option and it's just right. One thing to be aware of is that the size is not typical of standard blankets. I bought the full size and it is just big enough to cover the top of the mattress with no overhang. I wasn't aware of this so it took me by surprise. After sleeping with it for a week, I'm very glad about the sizing. The fabric cover feels good to the skin and it comes with very thorough cleaning instructions. Also, the sellers are very enthusiastic about their product which is fun and it arrived early and was well packed. If you've been curious about weighted blankets but haven't taken the plunge, I can safely recommend this one to you.

Immediate Calming Effect

I purchased the weighted blanket in the hopes that it would help reduce nerve pain, found the calming effect immediate, and look forward to more long-range benefits. The blanket has the weight I expected, breathes, and is not hot. The 100% cotton material was an important influence in my purchase and the two-tone gray is an attractive neutral.

Bought for my wife

My wife has trouble sleeping since she was involved in a car accident years ago. I bought the 48x78 so it would cover her and her side of the bed. So far we both sleep better but time will tell when the weather warms back up. Had a 'new' odor so it had to air out before using. Main dislike at this time is that it came with no care instructions. I have updated the review to 5 star because the company did provide us with care instructions: dry clean or hand wash and hang to dry.

Swaddles you but not restrictive

I like that the blanket is not restrictive. The weight is calming and if I wake up during the night, I am able to fall back to sleep easily, whereas without it I continue to be restless. I also like that there is minimal noise as I am also a light sleeper. I loaned this to my husband one evening as a test without telling him what it was and it was the first time his restless legs were still for an entire night. We will buy him his own blanket as I am total agreement that the blanket is meant for only one body at a time! I also liked that it decreased the anxiety I experience with the intense pain I experience during migraine headaches. Although I still experienced pain, I was comforted by the blanket when I usually do not like anything touching me because I become too sensitive to even the air. I will be purchasing several for family members with sleep issues, anxiety, and general sleep hygiene. It's my "woobie."

Just What I Was Hoping For

I ordered the weighted idea blanket after wanting to try a weighted blanket for about two years now. I finally had enough of the sleepless nights and decided to give it a try after all what have I got to lose? I have slept every night so comfortably since the day I received my new blanket. I missed out for 2 years! It's so hot during the summer and my husband can't stand to have thick heavy blankets but I need the weight for comfort. I now have my sheet and my blanket and sleep feeling soothed. Why did i wait so long!!

I had previously purchased another brand of weighted blanket but found it rather uncomfortably, mostly because it was too hot. That brand claimed 100% cotton but there was a layer of polyfill inside. I ordered this blanket to see if it was truly 100% cotton as they claimed and it is and what a difference it makes! It is super comfortable. I ordered the 48"x78" size for my "half" of a king-size bed and it is just right for one person; it covers from chest to over my toes and is wide enough to allow rolling side to side in the night without rolling out from under it. Added bonus? It's just heavy enough to keep my husband from stealing my covers in the middle of the night!

Amazing for my anxious child

This blanket is a game changer for my 8 year old who suffers from pretty serious bedtime anxiety. After months of trying every thing under the sun to ease his anxiety I finally ordered this blanket as a last resort. I'm not exaggerating when I say we saw improvement from night one with this blanket. Since buying this blanket my son falls asleep so, so much faster and sleeps deeper and longer. Instead of his anxiety keeping him up for hours after bedtime (on bad nights up past 12am) he is asleep within 30-45 minutes since buying this blanket. This blanket is worth it's weight in gold. If your child suffers from bedtime anxiety you know the toll it takes on the whole family. Blanket details: My son sleeps in a full size bed so I ordered the 48/78 size and it fits perfectly on the top of his bed. We live in Florida so I was worried about the added warmth of a weight blanket, but being this one is 100% cotton it breathes well. My son is a warm sleeper and when I asked if his new blanket is too hot he says "No! It is perfect and cozy!" It also has loops around the outside of the blanket so it could attached to a duvet. The navy cotton is a true navy and soft to the touch with a touch of sheen.
