Super satisfied with the quality, ease of installation and effect... Order now! As I slowly and carefully modify my Jk, I sift through the endless offerings of aftermarket parts and accessories to find those that can add to most form & function for the buck. Everybody knows Wrangler mods can range from a few bucks to a few thousand... As I just finished installing JW Speaker's awesome Taillights, I wanted something that would further tone down the overdone RED items on the back of my '17 Recon. I've been seeing this cover forever but assumed it was either junk and/or a little too cheesy for my ideal finished project. After reading it was constructed from metal & not thin plastic, I decided I couldn't loose too bad at $8 and ordered.. Install was even easier & faster than was reported, taking literally less time than the 2 min commercial break of the NBA playoff game I was watching that evening. The quality surpassed my expectations and the resulting look has given my Jk as much "pop" as my new JW's! Bought it as a gift for a friend. They loved it. Was very surprised to see that it was made of metal and fairly sturdy. It will not pass Virginia state inspection of course but you can pull it off a replace it with new double sided tape. Worth the price.

Cool touch

I think it's a neat extra for my jeep. The part seems to be well built. It is metal and wraps around the edges of the brake light. It attaches by 2 pieces of plastic tape that cling to the textured brake light. We'll see how it holds up. UPDATE: It's on there pretty good still. I don't think it's coming off unless someone takes it off.

Quality... Precision...

I have never seen a mass marketed, aftermarket piece fit so precisely! The fit is amazing; to the point the double sided adhesive might be overkill. It also appears to be of substantial quality... yet it’s still affordable. Get some more dealers like this Amazon! With that being said, it looks great as well.

Looks great and easy 1 minute install

I was trying to add some ore BLACK to my obnoxious gecko green Jeep. This was one of the items I bought to help achieve this and it looks great. Overall easy install. Just a little awkward because the fit is exact and the 3M tape is on the inside rim of the cover. But just give it a good push on and your set. Its definitely not popping off if you push it on properly and secure because like I said, the fit is exact and then these the 3M tape holding it on top of that.

Great Value

It feels so solid and OEM. Metal, not plastic, and fits like a glove. Installation is a snap. I just hope it does not fade as others reported but not sure if they were in the Arizona desert or not. So far I am quite impressed with the feel and look----tones down the big red blob above the spare tire just right.

Nicer than I expected

This was actually much better than I expected. Came in quick and was easy to install. The material is actually metal what looks like aluminum. It holds up pretty good and looks very nice. I recommend it.

I received an e-mail from Michael, the seller, after I ordered it that there was a mistake in manufacturing and that the cover may not fit without removing the 3M tape and pressing it on for a snug fit. That was accurate, but I have to say that it fit very nicely, and I modified it by taking the 3M tape pieces that I removed and put them on the back face of the cover, firmly pressing it against the face of the brake light and it fits and looks amazing!! Thank you for being honest Michael and warning me ahead of time, even offering a full refund without returning if it didn't work. It looks great on my 2017 Sahara JK Wrangler, and even better when it lights up! I wonder if people behind me in traffic are amazed by it.
