I bought this for my infant around 3-4 months old. It has always been a top favorite, but unlike the other favorites, this remains to stay a favorite. It was great for 3-4 months old and she would easily lay on her tummy and play with all the straps and laces. Plus gave tummy time clocked in time easily earned. Then around 5-6 months she would chew and drool on the lace, and it is safe to chew, no way she is getting it unthreaded at this age. Now 7 months in and the shoelace and zipper are her busy board jam. I have no doubt it will continue to entertain for many years to come. Good clean, quiet, safe portable fun! A must!

I bought this for my 15 month old daughter because she was obsessed with her buckles on her carseat as well as her high chair! So I thought this would be the perfect on the go toy to take with us to doctor's visit and long road trips! She absolutely loves this toy! It has a lot of different features besides just the buckles it has four different buckles that are all different types of buckles and all different colors, so that way she can learn different colors! It also has a shoestring and she loves to untie it and just play with it, it also has a small snap pocket as well as a zipper that has shapes when you open the zipper. The only problem I had was that the Zipper was pretty hard to get up and down but I put just a little bit of baby oil And that's all the problem! If your little one is obsessed with buckles like my little girl is I suggest you get this! It is very good quality and it's not too big so it fits easily in her diaper bag to take along with us! This is by far one of her most favorite toys!

My son is 20 months old and loves this busy board! It keeps him busy for several minutes (which is long considering his attention span is so short at his age). Some of the buckles are too hard for him to open, which makes sense that the recommended age for it is 3 years old. He really enjoys opening and closing them and identifying the colors. It will be some time before he can use the laces, but this might be a good tool when teaching him how to tie his shoes in the future. It is made of foam, which makes it very light and portable, but it is tempting for him to bite (again, maybe the age recommendation is accurate for 3). We are very happy with this toy!

Great. We bought this for a 2 year old who seems to have a love of buckling things. She was constantly going to the kitchen to buckle and unbuckle her booster seat. We got this as an alternative and it worked. Pros: - Foam makes it super light for her to carry around. The handle is nice too, in theory but our little one doesn’t use it. - Super bright colors. - Nice, neat and compact design. Both my husband and I thought this would make great airplane entertainment. We haven’t tried it yet but I’ll update the review if we do. - Zipper and shoelaces seem like they’ll be good too. Although we haven’t ventured into the shoelaces yet and the zipper doesn’t get much use. She’s too into the buckles. The Zipper does have a pattern inside of it so that’s nice! Cons: - A few of the buckles look almost identical front and back so it’s a bit hard for our kiddo to tell when it’s buckled backwards. - Wish the buckle length was just a touch longer. It hasn’t caused a real problem but just seems like it’d be a bit more comfortable with a longer strap. - Two of the buckles are very similar in the way they clasp. Would have been nice to have 4 individual styles. Maybe even one that’s similar to most car seat buckles would be nice. All in all, it’s great and I’ll be gifting it for my nieces or nephews down the road.

One of my littles received this for Christmas 2 months ago and it’s played with daily. I’m surprised by the reviews stating the buckles pulled off or the durability is poor. I have a 7 year old, 3 year old, 2-21 month olds and an 11 month old. They fight over this thing everyday and sometimes pull it back and forth. My 11 month old likes to bite on it so the foam board is a plus. It’s perfect in church (other than the bickering :)) but it gives the older folks something to talk about. My only complaint (and it’s a minor one) is that some of my kiddos can’t UN-buckle the clips so I have to do it for them. It is the perfect time to share wit others tho! Love it. Buy it.

Bought this for my 13 month old first plane ride. It’s around this age that they’re starting to be curious about zippers and buttons and buckles so I know this will be a hit. First time she saw this, she gravitated towards the red and the blue buckles right away and gave me a few minutes to eat my breakfast at the airport. It’s been almost a month and she still plays with this. The buckles could’ve been given more slack so it’ll be easier for them but she loves it. Glad I made the purchase.

I purchased this toy for my soon to be 2 yr old granddaughter who is intrigued with buckles. I just know she will love this toy. I am very happy with the way the toy looks and like that it has a built in handle, making it easy for her to carry. It is also very light weight. It is colorful and looks fun. I cannot wait to give it to her!

Great teaching board for toddlers with a mechanical knack. My 19 month old grandson is currently unbuckling every buckle, zips with ease, loves to snap and in a few months will start learning to tie. Backboard is soft and durable. It does not disintegrate with toddlers using it to teeth on like the cardboard versions

Got this busy board for my toddler when she was about 18 months old. She was extremely focused on learning each of the buckles for several weeks straight. Now she’s over 2 years old and this is still a great toy for her. She still enjoys buckling the buckles (now she enjoys doing it as fast as she can) and she’s learning the words for the shapes inside the zipper. Will continue to use this as she grows because she has yet to learn the snap or tying the lace. Great board that can grow with your child!!

Was skeptical of the price of this toy but after receiving it, I was pleasantly surprised. It is very sturdy. Every piece is secured to the board and then another layer of foam covers up all the fasteners. You wouldn't even notice that unless you were examining it. I did neglect to notice it said for Ages 3+ but my 20 month old still loves the parts he has the skill to handle. The others will come with time and practice I'm sure so all the better. So happy to get a toy that my son enjoys that doesn't light up or require batteries and helps his motor skills. Highly recommend!
