Very happy with this battery!

The battery arrived with a 70% charge. When I connected the charger to the Macbook, the battery didn't seem to charge any higher. I disconnected the battery, did an SMC reset, and reconnected the battery. That allowed the battery to charge to 100%. The System Profiler shows the battery has one cycle and a capacity HIGHER than the original battery. Very happy with this battery!

Good OEM replacement MacBook Pro 15” mid 2010

I received battery yesterday and installed it, so far as good I will update if any changes. The install was pretty easy with the included tools. However some of my screw on the original battery was pretty tight had some trouble getting them out. So far charging with our issues or errors.

Great price for this battery and it fixed a problem

The battery was very easy to install as they provide all tools necessary to get the job done. The cool thing is that it fixed the problem with my Track pad no longer clicking as the old battery had swelled and was interfering with the Trackpads operation.

Excellent Battery/Useless Tools

I replaced my swollen original battery with this after reading a few really good reviews. This absolutely did the trick. Popped it in, turned it on, and it had a 60% charge. Easy peasy! I did not put a "Battery Life" rating as I just installed it moments ago. I may update this review at a later date. Be aware, this does not come with (or at least mine didn't) instructions. Do a YouTube search, there are plenty of videos out there on the subject. Now please, please! If you're taking the time to read this, and hopefully some of the other reviews, do yourself a favor and listen to us when we tell you to toss the useless supplied tools. If you order this, order a computer tool kit at the same time. It will save you a ton of headaches.

It fits and works as it should.

The battery fits and works with my wife’s mid 2009 MBP. It came in with a 72% charge. As instructed, I used the MBP until battery was 3% then charged it overnight. It has been working pretty good. It also cost way way lesser than what Apple wants for battery and labor.

Excellent battery

The battery was as advertised, arrived on time and is working very well. I’ve ordered a battery before from a different place that was advertised as new, but was clearly reconditioned. This battery is brand new and well worth the price. Will most likely use this company again.

Perfect replacement at a fraction of the cost!

This battery replacement does the job and at a great price. It comes with small screwdrivers that can open any mac even though the 2009-2010 screws on the bottom are phillips. It also comes with a "Y" shaped screwdriver to get the battery screws out. I run a small I.T. and Mac repair business and it's hard to find good battery replacements online because not all batteries are the same even though they say they work with a specific model. This is because of the way the cells are put together inside the case. Just like how Tesla figured out a way to get more bang out of their batteries by arranging them in a specific way. This battery comes in just a few kilowatt hours, (4.5Wh) under the original which is 77.5Wh this one is 73Wh. But for the price the loss in Wh is negligible. What is Wh? And why does it matter? Well the more "Wh" a battery has the longer it can power your device. Real world tests done by Everymac.com put the 2010 Macbook Pro battery life on average at about 4 hours and 30 min. So that's about 3.5Wh per minute if you round up. This means that the loss in Wh which is 4.5Wh of this battery is only going to lose you 15min on battery life and for the price I can live with that.

excellent battery capacity

the replacement battery came within 2 days. It was surprising it came with a set of screw drivers that work perfect in opening the case and replacing the old battery. The new battery has been excellent, last about four hours for normal computer office writing /editing, and about three hours for internet use. Recommend as top product among many others of this type of products.

The battery arrived well packaged and on time. 2 days. It was well packaged. Well protected. I installed the battery in less that 10 minutes. I also charged the replacement battery per instructions: 1st booted up to make sure it was connected and working. 2nd Shutdown Mackbook and charge until indicator green, then charge for 2 more hours. 3rd Boot it up, disconnect charging cable and run the battery completely dead with only normal usage = not heavy power use. (Make sure to disable all power saving options for this step. 4th After Mackbook turns off, let it sit for at least 5 more hours. 5th Connect power cable, and off you go. Power system is calibrated. Use normally. I did see some negative reviews. It may be some were failing to calibrate the system after installing the new battery. As of this review I've only been using it for a week, but so far so good. Cleared up some reboot, and heat issues that I think was related to the original battery going bad. I have a mid 2010. It's 2019. Probably long overdue to be replaced. Thanks LHYSFIY INC for providing a good product and the tools needed to quickly install it. Update: Battery been through many cycled as still crankin' strong. Up to 5 stars. Original review: I am going with a tentative 4 stars, but I will be back to update the review after I have used this battery for some time. I was happy to purchase this battery without it having any other reviews, on the conjecture that perhaps this would increase the probability of receiving a relatively recently manufactured battery. This turned out to be correct; the battery was made on 09-09-17. The battery feels well made, while the included tools were barely adequate for the job. I was able to modify one of the star drivers and get it to serve. The computer booted up as usual and the battery showed 66% power - the perfect level for storage - a good sign.
