I purchased this item to use on a CNC project to let me know how many hours I am ramping up. I can then track how long each tool has been used along with belt usage and everything about it. It also comes in 120v as well as 12vdc, so you can put it on lawn mowers, tractors, anything you need to know the hours of operation. It just needs a power source from whatever you are monitoring.

Simple and easy way to track run time on my new air compressor

Came with a good set of hardware for mounting and hooking up. You might want to grab a bracket for it if you are not mounting in an existing panel. Peace of mind knowing that I can be sure to execute the maintenance schedule on my equipment, and since the compressor runs automatically i can also see that it had not been excessively running while I am away from the shop.

I bought this to install on my backup generator which came from the manufacturer without one. I will use this to plan maintenance and see how many hours my utility power goes out. It only requires drilling a 2 inch mounting hole and simple wiring. Couldn’t be happier.

Easy to install

I used the 240v hour meter to record running time on my new air compressor. It was easy to install and tested fine. I just used an electrical box and drilled out a dummy plate with a hole saw.

Helpful

This hour meter is very handy since our boat did not come with one. Can help keep track of hours on the motor for oil changes and any other maintenance needs that need to be done
