Nice sized palm grip for little hands. Will mark the paper with light to moderate pressure easily. Holds up to being thrown from a high chair by a toddler. The wax is smooth and not crumbly. I use painters tape to adhere a large piece of newsprint sketch paper to the kitchen table and it’s as far as my little one can reach from his booster seat so I don’t have to worry about cleaning it up off the table. The only drawback is they are just as much fun to roll as they are to color with. Great activity.

My one year old took to these rather quickly. They are perfect for a toddler to grab. Even my five year old likes them. Very good quality product. I love crayola and they did not disappoint with this product.

These are perfect for my daughter - she’s 15 months old and these are great for her. Standard crayons she struggles to hold & breaks. These allowed her to color and scribble independently

My daughter really likes these. I bought them because I felt lack of visible results with regular crayons might discourage her from wanting to draw...i don't know of that was true but as soon as she first used these she wants to draw all the time. I got her a giant note pad from Ollies and I lat it on the floor for her and she sits partway on top of it a d draws for 5 to 10 mins at a time. She's only a year old. She used to get fed up with regular crayons in a matter a minute.

I purchased these for my one year old and she is able to hold and color using these crayons. She can't break them as we all know little ones want to pound the tips rather than 'color' with them.

Perfect for chubby toddler hands and first crayons for scribbling. We keep them in an egg carton and color after high chair meals. Made an activity by placing them in an egg carton and my 15 month old grandson likes to play put and take the crayons eggs. Discourage throwing though as they will break in 2 but we fixed one with crazy glue and it’s fine.

This is the 3rd set I have ordered. The grasp is good for a toddler, they hold it in the palm of their hands, like a ball. Toddlers grasps haven't developed to the point where they can properly hold a crayon. They can actually scribble rather than just make lines like a they do with a regular crayon. It is a great product. Watch it or you'll be scrubbing if off the wall like my niece.

ok the baby has no interest in drawing yet (15 mo) but he loves to pick them up and drop them on the paper, they make marks. surprisingly sturdy, i thought they'd be broken day 1 when he threw them across the room on wood floor. he tried biting on them but cringed haha not very tasty i guess. seems like very easy for him to hold, good size and shape for his little hands. colors are bright except for the yellow one. barely legible. with it was green or purple or black.

Love how easy they are to hold, and for my 1 year old, to make marks! She was able to see that she was making marks with her crayons, and soon had no interest in putting them in her mouth within the first few minutes of use. She likes trying to copy when we draw something for her. We put a giant piece of posterboard on the floor and she sits on it and colors with one of us. On one occasion, the posterboard was on the shiny side up, and she "erased" the marks with her cream colored pants. After washing, not even a faint trace of color remained...two thumbs up for us!!

Love these! Yes they are great for toddlers. But also anybody who lacks fine motor skills. I know people with arthritis who can't hold crayons and I think these would honestly be great! Everyone deserves the opportunity to color and these were awesome
