Awesome Product

This product is awesome. I really like the two small cups, and one small bottle coming with the kettle. You can put coffee or tea in the bottle when you are travelling. It works quietly and fast speed to boil water. Really recommend.

Electric Stainless Steel Water Kettle with Dual Voltage 100-120V/220-240V US Plug

This is a nice portable water kettle which supports universal voltage (100-120V/220-240v). It can be used in most countries in the world as long as the I bring a outlet plug. The default is the 3 prong USA standard plug and it needs an adapter to be used in other countries. The heating speed isn't too bad. I tried to boil cold water (tap water) and it took about 6 minutes. This kettle can be used with or without the lid on - with the lid on it will automatically switch off when the water inside boils and without the lid, the kettle would continue to heat the water (this mode is very handy when I'm trying to cook instant noodles). There is a red indicator light near the bottom to show the kettle is heating. It also comes with 2 free tea cups, 1 tea leaf container, and 1 measuring cup.

Cook a healthy soup quick and easy!

I use this pot at least 3 days a week for my soups. It heats up lightning fast!!! You can easily cook up a healthy soup for two, packed with vegetables, noodles of your choice and some small pieces of chicken or beef and season too your taste. My family and I eat at home more than ever now. When you use this pot it cuts cooking time drastically. I bought two more, one for my wife and I to use at work. I don't usually write reviews but for the cost of this pot and how well it works I thought it deserved a great review!

Great Little Kettle!!!

I am building a new house and have a 10 x 12 shed that serves as a construction office, tool storage, power tool charging area and lunch room / break area. This little pot is great. It takes up hardly any space on a shelf and heats water for coffee or tea faster than a 1000 watt hot plate and a tea kettle. I only have an extension cord for power to the temporary building so a 450 watt draw permits me to keep the battery chargers going while we are on lunch. It cooks soup great too or can boil some hot dogs. If it lasts 6 months until the house is done I will be happy. When the house is completed if it is still going I will put it in my new basement workshop to make coffee or soup there.

I used to have one of those cheap American plastic hotpots, but when the nonstick coating on the bottom cooking plate started flaking off into the food it was time to replace. I chose this pot, and I love it! The cat design is cute, the entire inner pot is metal rather than plastic, and it comes with a separate glass lid and plastic steamer tray. This little pot is great for quickly boiling eggs. I use the steamer basket according to directions and the eggs come out perfectly. I have also used it for ramen. It was great to take along on my trip so I could heat up ramen and soup at the hotel we stayed at. It boils water very quickly. If you forget and the water boils out, it has an auto-shut off feature which is nice. It did get the water spots on the bottom that people have mentioned, but they seem to clean up with white vinegar.

I am learning English...I live in Korea and I used similar products a lot... South Korea uses 220 volts, including 110 to 220 volts.... I go to America and Japan a lot for business...The two countries use 110 volts, which took too long to do so. So I found a 110 volt cooker.....The reason why I write a late purchase report is that I wrote it on a business trip.... To begin with, it is a great satisfaction..I'm an MSG addict. So you should eat ramen often...It was as satisfying as if he was doing it at home. I strongly recommend.

Lightweight and great for traveling

The chili in the picture came from home (in a Ziploc Twist 'n loc). I had the potatoes and green beans delivered to the hotel (with some other items). Yum. Honestly, this meal was delicious. I'm basically using the device as a steamer (Egg cooker turned potato cooker). I put the green beans in for less time for the last 10-or-so minutes of cooking. It gives me great comfort to know that the thing will turn itself off if I forget and it runs out of water. I remember that the first time I used it, I had trouble figuring out where the power base goes (at the bottom, naturally, label-side down) I didn't know it was a power base at the time, though it makes sense once you know.

Global traveller approved kettle- meets all needs

I ordered this Kettle after extensive search f the features that matter most for a global traveller. This ketle has fully covered heating element which means you can clean the inside even if you use it to heat soups or make instant noddles and not just heat water alone. The lid is plastic but the bottom part is steel, Most others have plastic lids only. The lid comes apart which is a hugh benefit for easy cleaning and for stiring. It also allows the use of the kettle beyond 3 min auto cut off most kettes have if you keep the lid open. Unique and very practical feature if you want to boil beyond water. Lead is excellent flat 3 core cable and of good length. Both space saving and high quality. Plug will need an adopter but US 3 pin plugs are most compact. Use of adopter therefore will add little bulk. The manual says switch voltage for use but the sticker at the bottom says100 to 240v 50hz to 60hz range. There is no switch to select the volatge but I assume it will therefore (hopefully) work globally without switching. This is one area that the seller must clarify or put a sticker on the kettel. Switching manually is a pain but auto switching is very useful.The voltage range means it will besides US work in Japan (100v) to european and asian countries with 230-240v supply. The two cups provided are high quality and reusable. The carry bag is a nice touch and the best part is the warranty card. It is an embossed credit card type with raised number! Impresive attention to detail. I will update the review post use for some trips but for now it seems to check all the boxes more then any other travel kettle I could find on Amazon.

Handy little pot that heats water in an instant......

I use this little pot to boil eggs, to make oatmeal, to cook pasta, etc. It is faster than a microwave.
