Great flash cards!

Great flash cards for sight words!! Pros: Love that parents can see the word on the opposite side without having to flip the card, brilliant that one corner has a sharper angle so that the cards are easy to sort, 6 really fun games that you can play with your child so that learning sight words isn't so dull and daunting! Cons: Only con might be that you have to buy all the sets in one bundle. But this is also a pro because knowing parents, the harder sets never be ordered (because life is too busy) and so having to order it all at once actually will help the lazy parent ;) Great product. Would definitely recommend for kids trying to learn to read and for classrooms as well. Buy a gift for your teacher!

Well made, comprehensive, fun, and helpful

I can't tell you how pleased we are with these cards. First, they contain the sight words my daughter is learning in first grade, as well as the ones she learned in kindergarten, and the ones she'll be learning soon. They aren't just some random words. Second, I thought about making cards myself, but I knew it would be an undertaking to make some that would withstand constant use. These are extremely well made. I have even written on them with marker, and the ink wipes right off. The games they suggest are great. My daughter and I have had so much fun using these, which makes it more like "play" and less like homework. I'm glad we got the big set with the more advanced words, because I know we'll be opening those boxes soon. These cards are a GAME CHANGER. Money well spent! Thank you!

Sturdy, Colorful and so many cards!

My 4yo is really excited about learning to read and already familiar with site words from school. These card sets are a great quality and have so many words! My daughter was immediately excited to learn about them! We started playing the game suggested where you use the word in a sentence. Then my daughter got out her dry erase markers and started tracing the letters. The cards held up and erased great! We will be using these a lot this year and I know they will last for years to come as my other daughter grows into reading too.

Set contains full Kindergarten sight word list.

This set contains the entire 75 sight words on my sons kindergarten list. This is an extra resource we are using to help him further. 62 of his kindergarten sight words are in the Pre-K sight words. 12 words are in the grade K sight words. 1 word is in the grade 2. this been great product for us

Daughter has not been motivated to work on reading tried lots of things, this been great product for us. Games are fun, has got her much more engaged. Love the words on each side of cards, makes it much easier don’t have to flip card if I need to help her. Quality of cards are great, no ripping or bending. Very happy, highly recommend this product.

Great flash cards!

These are fantastic. I searched many different types of flash cards and finally decided on these for two reasons: 1) the size of the cards and 2) the card has the word the child sees on the top right corner of the back of the card. Cards are packed perfectly in one storage box. This paper box did rip while I opened it but no big deal - taped it up and all is fine. The cards have a nice feel to them, similar to a deck of cards. I love that they are color coordinated depending on the age level. I also love that one side of the card has a different edge on the corner. It makes it simple to be able to split cards from same deck into different sections allowing me to distinguish cards my son already knows, what he is currently working on, or what he hasn’t seen yet (see pic). It’s basically allows for a wonderful bookmark. If you have been searching for flash cards, truly stop and just purchase these. You will NOT be disappointed. The amount of words and how wonderfully they are separated into different age levels is great. We’ll be using these for many years and I have no doubt they will be durable to sustain use over the years with all of our children.

I thought you would be interested to know your products will be used in Mexico in a small town about 3 hours south of Puerto Vallarta. I spend quite a bit of time there and have taught English to Spanish speaking children there. I will be returning there in March I assist an English teacher and she asked me for flashcards. So I sent a list of flashcard products allowing her the most useful for her needs. She chose one of your products but I purchased the package. She was ecstatic! Teachers are paid very little and she cannot afford $20 purchase price. I am happy to support her and teaching of English. Thank you for making this available!

Easy learning and fun. Nicely designed.

I am a mom of 2 kids, ages 6 and 4. I bought this bundle because I was looking for what I can do beyond story time at night to encourage my kids literacy. Both my husband and I work and are pretty busy so we wanted something that seemed easy to incorporate into daily routines, no fuss, high yield. These flash cards fit the bill. So far, I really liked the game suggestions that come with each pack, it makes it fun for the kids and us. While we'll have yet to see how it improves their literacy in the long run, it was fun to see my 4 year old daughter feel proud of herself to "read" words like her older brother. I liked that with the bundle I got a pack for Pre-K thru Grade 3, which was perfect since I have a 1st grader and Pre-K-er. I like the form of the cards to--, they seem well-made and thoughtfully designed. Thank you for a very nice product!

great for kids who struggle with reading to build confidence

I know most customers are buying these cards to help their younger children recognize sight words and perhaps get a jump start. I actually purchased these for my young daughter who struggles with reading. It’s an excellent way to practice at home and build her confidence! The cards are great quality and very useful. I have even brought them to my daughter’s tutoring sessions and her tutor loves them too!

Solid set of Flash cards, excellent tool to develop your little readers

As the parent of 6 and 4 year old little ones, I was looking for something educational and fun that would pry my kids away from the TV, tablet or other electronic devices. I noticed the Sight Word Flash cards on Amazon and decided to give them a try. I am so happy that I did! My daughter is in 1st grade and loves them. She uses the 1st, 2nd and even attempts the 3rd grade cards. Some of the Pre-K words were a bit tough for my preschooler, but because he sees his sister using the flash cards, he is encouraged to push himself to learn the words as he develops as a reader. The cards themselves are well made and sturdy. They make use of both sides of the cards so there are plenty of words to learn. The size of the cards are big enough for little hands to hold on their own. The single angled corner for sorting is great. Each pack is compact enough to throw into a bag to take with you to the park or anywhere else you travel. Also, the 6 suggested games extend the lifespan and use of these cards long after they learn the words.
