So far so good

Ordered these for an upcoming trip. Shipping was super fast (thx amazon) and as soon as I saw the box it said it only fits two snowboards or 4 skis. I was immediately worried, but after a quick test fit you can definitely get at least 4 snowboards on there (or two boards and two skis.. see pics). Set up was fairly easy. It took me a little longer cause I’m OCD like crazy, but overall pretty straight forward. The only complaint I have is the clamps themselves. They only come with rubber padding on the top portion so the bottom portion is bare plastic against your racks. Shouldn’t be an issue but a little extra protection would be nice since most rack systems aren’t cheap and long term wear could happen. Will update after first trip to see how they hold up. *mounted on whispbar flushbars which is owned by Yakima now as well. I think they call them aero blades*

5 stars for the price point. Better than rhino rack.

They feel like good quality. And for the money they are 5 stars. For the money. They have minimal wind noise that I can hear between 35-45MPH, even the smallest amount of music drowns out the noise. There is the more expensive option that Yakima sells that claims to cut wind noise down, so if it’s a concern you could pay more $ for that. But for what these cost I think they are a great option. I’ve also owned rhino racks and these feel like better quality.

Awesome snowboard/ski rack

I've been wanting to get one of these for my car for years! Totally worth every penny. Keeps boards out of the way in your car to make more room for passengers. Also after boarding when the ice and snow melts its not soaking wet in your car. Edges can scratch interior trim and cut seats.

Will hold 4 skis and poles

Worked well this season on our trip to Big Bear. Mounted it on our 2019 RAV4 and used it to hold 4 pairs of skis and poles. It will hold 4 pairs of skis comfortably, or extremely snug if also holding the poles. It does make noticeable noise above 60mph but didn't really notice it too much cruising at 80mph with other road noise in the background.

What can I say it’s Yakima! You get what you pay for! It’s 100% a quality rack! If you plan to keep this on for a whole season or all year long! (then this is the rack for you) If you are looking for a high quality rack that’s easier to take on & off then look at the more expensive models. By Yakima! They last a lifetime, and they keep there products working for lifetime! So yea! It’s definitely worth the money!

Great Product.

Great product. Put them on my 2016 Tahoe and had no issues. Held skis 140cm through 177cm at the same time, traveling at highway speeds with no issues. You will note some added wind noise, but wasn’t bad.

These things are great. And flexible too - they work nicely with a wide variety of racks. We have both aftermarket square ones and factory oval ones on our vehicles and this can be moved between them easily.

Easy to install. Easy to use. Fit our 2005 Subaru factory rack very nicely. Great for the money. Live in CO and kept on the car.
