Really easy to use

I purchased this to put diatomaceous earth around the perimeters of the rooms in my house to prevent insect infestations. It's very handy, and I would recommend it to anyone else looking to do the same. It's easy to load, and easy to use.

it's bigger than I had imagined

Great product. I live in Florida where bugs inside seem to be the norm. But not for us. I dust under the beds and couches and occasionally in the trash can if we've eaten many bananas and we don't have any bugs.

takes a little to get use to but works great

I got it to spray seven dust into my carpenter bee area - it took a little to get used to how to hold it but it worked exactly as described and was very easy to use.

Better coverage than I thought I’d get

This works much better than I expected. Do be careful at first if you filled it to the top, the dusting you’ll want will start out as long spurts of whatever powder you are using. Once I got the hang of it and had decreased the amount in it I got a great dusting everywhere I wanted it. I was using a diatomaceous and boric acid mixture and it worked quite well.

It is a good product!

I used CimeXa in it for the bed bugs I had and it worked well. Once I got the hang of it, it did the job! Because CimeXa is such a light, powdery dust, you need to be careful not to press down on the Duster by accident or the CimeXa is all over! But again, it did the job for me!!

Does the job

This does the job. To avoid getting large clips flying out, I suggest filling only half or even a quarter full. It's a pain to keep refilling but if you want a fine even spread dust that's the way to go. Slightly tilt upwards also.

Indispensable for chicken and bird owners

Easy to use, dispenses the right amount every time depending on the required force. Great for dusting bags of seed, areas where birds forage and nest, perfect for nest boxes, dispersion is spot on. I just wish the opening were a little bigger to make refilling a less messy job. Even though refilling is a little messy, no worries if some DE floats out because it doesn't hurt anything and is all good, no matter where it lands.

cost a lot more else where

Makes it much easier to get behind Furniture and Appliances and up in the attic area. I am a bug and spider freak and I spray constantly inside and outside to make sure that none of the little kritters will make it even if they do get in.

does what it's supposed to do

Like most people I purchased this and use it to distribute diatomaceous earth. It's simple and does the job for a reasonable price. Sometimes the powder clumps and clogs and have to tap it to get it to get it going again, however, this not a failing of the device, it's just the powder clumping. It actually has a sieve in the cap that should help to prevent clumping, but it's a fine powder and "clumping happens." I'm sure any other device will have the same issue. The other thing to be mindful of is when the powder flows it only takes light pressure on the bulb to get it to come out, which is to say you're likely to have uneven distribution so I recommend trying a few test sprays. This too is not a failing of this particular unit, its just how it goes using a bulb sprayer to distribute a fine powder. If you really need precise distribution a shaker of some sort or spreader might work better. This is good edges and hard-to-reach areas that neither of those 2 types of devices would be usable. The unit I originally received was missing 2 parts. I cannot say who is to blame for this. I messaged the vendor, who responded right away and shipped an entirely new unit also right away. I received it the next day. So, good service backing up a decent product gets 5 stars.
