Works great!

Works great, easy to use! I really like how it can lock in position so you get a fairly accurate measurement. I say “fairly” because I’m assuming it’s accurate since it seems to be, but I haven’t tested its accuracy. Helped me get body measurements so that I could shop for dresses.

Measure one-handed~!

I love this thing. It's far easier to use than my previous measuring tape, because I don't have to try to keep my finger on the tape so I can see what I measured. I just put it around my waist, put the end of the tape securely in the slot, and hit the retract button. Then I can just pop the end of the tape out of the slot and look at the number closest to the retracting box. It makes the whole process much faster, esp when you are measuring regularly.

Easy to use!

This product is great! I recently started making some healthier choices. The trainer I was meeting with highly suggested that I track my measurements rather than my weight especially in the beginning. They offered to do it for me at the gym but I am still to self concious to do that. This product allowed me to easily take my measurements in my own home. It was easy to use and fit around my bust and waist which I was concerned about. The only thing I wish this product had was some sort of lock on the slide so that it doesn't accidentally fall out when you're tightening it.

Worth it, for me, when making my own clothes

Just a smidge off on the measurement. Very helpful for measuring my biceps, in particular, which is really a one-handed job. The knob slips out really easily, so you have to be careful or it can get a little frustrating. On the whole, I'm happy, as it helped me overcome the difficulty of measuring my bicep without help.

Y'all listen up, Morgan McGrew here. Let me just say that this was so accurate that I wanted to cry. On the flip side though (am I using that right Gen X?), it encouraged me to make those numbers decrease and guess what, I am three pant sizes smaller! Diet, exercise and measuring myself to hold myself accountable has been a great way to shed those "happy" pounds away! You got this!! Body Measuring Tape

I love this product. You simply pull the tape out, wrap it around the body part and hook it into the grooved part and you never have to worry about it slipping or not measuring correctly. I recommend this to all people who sew, measure and mark patterns. You will not be disappointed.

Works and configuration is uniquely IDEAL DESIGN

Wish I had one of these years and years ago. Excellent to taking measures and not needing three hands. In fact this works great and you can have only one hand used and make notes with the other hand.

Accurate

This product was easy to use. Accurate when compared with a standard tape measure. Some people asked why the tapes start at two inches; that is because the handle is two inches long. The only gripe I have (which isn't enough to detract at how much I like this), Is that the pin that goes into the slot doesn't stay put without being held into place with a thumb. Wish it would have locked into place.... Very minor issue.......

So far, this is the best one I've used.

It's working very well so far. I've used this same type of measuring tape in the past, and inevitably they all break or get lost. At this price however, I don't mind having to replace one every once in a while. This one feels a little different, however; you can tell the construction is a lot sturdier than other ones I've had in the past. Time will tell, of course, and I'll be back to update accordingly. Another great thing about this tape is that the intervals at which it stops are much smaller. Other tapes I've used usually "click" every half inch or so. This one seems like a quarter or even eighth of an inch. It's super useful for measuring, say, your neck, where you can't read the tape when it's actually around your neck. You can, however, measure, pull it off, and then read where it stopped. You can get much more accurate readings this way. Overall, this is the best one I've used so far. Even if it breaks after a year or so (I don't think it will though), I'd get another one.

Easier to use than a standard tape measure. Previous issues fixed by company

I bought this to make body measurements easier to use when losing weight. It works much better than using a regular tape measure. The company has fixed the issue of needing to add 2 inches to the measurement you read and for having the inch measurements on outside for US customers. It works great and is much more accurate than trying to measure myself with a standard tape measure.
