Awesome get one for your bike!
want to replace your taillight license plate light? these work great or even for some setups one could do perfectly. Bright and clear. Easy to install just splice into the old light wires that you remove and do a mechanical splice and ensure you have identified the power and ground and align them properly during your splice repair. However its always good to set it up to and test before performing the repair to make sure you can identify any issues before your repair. install time takes 5-10 mins.

They work great for me!
Saw a couple mixed reviews but Im overall very satisfied with these lights. I needed a tag light and these were a very simple solution to the problem. Another reviewer mentioned the lights were blue and they aren't, the color of the lights is definitely a cool white which does have a blueish tint. I wouldn't think it would be an issue as they are still clearly white lights, however that would be at the discretion of the police.

Low profile, looks great
Great way to adhere to your local laws without adding a lighted frame or extra lights. The lights themselves look good on or off. Note that you will need additional tools and material for install. Heat shrink, crimps/solder, and you'll have to splice into your harness. Not super difficult but these don't come with anything besides the wires sticking out the back.

A brilliant product.
I couldn't be more happier with a simple purchase like this one.My son bought a ninja 650r sport bike, but it had no lic.pl. lights which is mandatory in CA. The problem was there was no wiring for them and no where to install a stock light. These lights double duty as your hardware for your plates and light all in one! Due to them being led, they are plenty bright and it made for a very clean install! Very Cool! I have absolutely no issues or anything bad to say about this product. Plus they were under $10 bucks, seriously?

Works great, not just for vehicles
We actually didn’t use these for a vehicle, we used around our block patio and used as low voltage lighting with a small transformer. Makes for perfect dim lighting at night.

Simple enough!
Decent little lights for what I needed. The wire is super thin, so the easiest way to strip it is with a lighter and a quick rip. I used shrink wrap up the length of the wire just for added strength and to protect the splice. May not last forever, but cheap enough to warrant replacing

Tag light bolts are great!
I love these lights. They're such a simple and elegant solution at a bargain price. Prior to this pair I installed in a custom plate mount I made, I installed a set on my fender mounted trailer tag. They've withstood 2 winters of use in the saltbelt, so that's pretty solid. The wires are thin, led's barely pull any current. My suggestion is to strip the ends long and fold the stripped wire over a few times before inserting it into a crimp tube, then heat shrink tube the splices and the entire wire run to protect it. Also, these make great easily installed lighting for all sorts of things being license plates.

Small but Bright!
These are much brighter than I anticipated, but that was a good thing! They do require some electrical and/or automotive experience to install. They are not what the average Joe would consider plug and play. No problem for gearheads though.

Perfect solution for license plate lighting
These lights are a real timesaver for me. I needed to reposition my trailer license plate from the side (where it got beat up) to the center. The left tail light was illuminating the plate before, so I needed something that would light the new spot at the center. It would probably take me around an hour or so to fabricate something that would get me by so I looked this light set up on Amazon. The lights look like they are sealed from water/mud and they light up well. Problem solved. They are easy to install - I'm glad that they don't just plug in because it would probably be a matter of time before the connections would go bad. I prefer to solder and use shrink tubing as a permanent solution. I recommend these lights.

It works for what it is and is cheap.
This item is impractical for some. You'd have to disassemble the entire thing to remove the plate. Or add some butt connectors near the back of the bracket so you can easily remove it without much effort. With that said, I got it knowing this and it does what it says and at night, does it very well. Just know what you're getting into. It may be better for some to get one that adheres above on the tail angled at the plate. I just liked this idea and haven't changed plates in over 10 years so no big deal to me.
