Worked as advertised

2015 Chevy Spark. Purchased after I had to replace the coolant reservoir after it began leaking. Low coolant set off the low coolant code and thermostat malfunction code. I replaced the reservoir but codes did not reset on their own, which deactivated A/C. This Scanner read the correct codes with easy to read descriptions and then erased the codes. No more malfunction indicator light and A/C working again. Easy to use, read and is backlit. Unit is smaller than expected but very usable. Cord is a little shorter than expected but long enough to allow me to sit in driver's seat and use it. Would recommend to others. Model Autmor AT018 (2018 upgraded)

gets the job done

My Chevy Impala remote start won't work when the check engine light is on. The problem was a loose gas cap or something around the area to the price at about $300. I literally keep this thing in my glove compartment and clear the codes every often I know I can use my remote start again!

I had gotten this OBD2 scanner since yesterday, I bought it because of my BMW 328i 2015 check engine light came out. This scanner is so easy to use, it's plug and play. what you need to do is plus this scanner under the dash, and start the car, then around 10 to 15 second the code come out, just that easy, By the way, my code is P0301, mean number 1 cylinder misfire. And this scanner is really good for diagnostic and repair for low cost!

No frills ODB 2 scanner

5 star rating for its price and simple functionality and easy to use. The sub 20$ price tag has no bells or whistles just a basic code reader with the ability to erase codes. Don’t expect anything more. But works. I used it on 2010 Honda Odyssey and 2007 accord. The ODB2 port is recessed and difficult to acces on the Accord but was no problem for this device. Correctly read the code and allowed me to easily erase. I have used cheap Bluetooth devices they work great and have more features unfortunately did not fit the Accord.

great tool to know your car better

cars from time to time throw out error / warning codes to dash but only with minimum elaborations. This small gadget helps to read mode details from OBD2 interface and provide much clear / human readable information. Makes me easier to know what triggered the check-engine light. So to better judge I should take my car to auto shop or able to fix it by myself to save some money.

Super fast and easy to use.

Check engine light came on at the same time for 2 of my cars. I took one to autozone for the free check engine test and they said no code were coming up. Decided to just buy my own since I have a lot of car problems and I know a couple people that work on cars that could need to borrow it some day. Tested my cars and it worked perfect. This will save you substantial amount of monies. One will always know what the real problem is, prior to going to the Repair shop. They do have a little more sophisticated unit which does the same thing. Once you know the error codes. things are much easier. Dealership or Repair shop cannot defraud you.
