I bought this because using hand clippers is too much for me. This is lightweight and incredibly easy to use! I have a big hedge to trim as well as two podocarpus trees to keep up with. In addition, we have a palm we have to trim at the base. Now, we can hold up the palm branches and trim away easily. After starting the trimmer you can use it with one hand. I am VERY happy with this product!

So far, I love it. I've used it to cut down about 20 sets of ornamental grass and it's been great. Can't comment on actual hedges!

Light weight and really does the job. Just make sure you oil it w/ WD 40 before 1st use and clean after every use w/ dry cloth. re oil about every 5th use.

Did a great job trimming hedges. However, I did cut my extension cord and short outside receptacles. Operator error. Plenty of power. That’s for sure.

This is a tough chewer... wow! Such a great buy. Only used it twice but it’s easy to handle very light. Using it to prune forsythia and other bushes. Also to note I’m a total novice.

Read the easy 1-2-3 instructions to make sure you get the best results, like trimming from the bottom up. Also make sure to screw on the black hand protector (all included). As soon as you open the box, you are ready to go. I like that the trimmer is light weight, it made it so easy to maneuver around the bushes. Some branches were about 1/2 "thick, and it trimmed with ease. Took me about an hour to turn the jungle into an almost "Disney-like" manicured yard, I had so much fun. WORD OF CAUTION, it is easy to get carried away and over trim, and ruin your masterpiece.

If you want to feel like The Hulk, keep doing it manually, otherwise, get one of these. I have been doing this by hand for 18 years because i don't have a ton of hedges to trim (L shaped walk-way from driveway to porch) and I thought this would be a dumb investment. I'd never used one before, never seen anyone use one before, and didn't think i needed it. It would take me roughly an hour to hand trim my junipers with hand shears and afterwards i felt like i had the Pecs of The Hulk when i was done (especially on those thicker stubborn branches), then the next day i'd be sore and my wife would poke me in my sore pecs to tease me. I had meant to "test it out" on the day i received it, just to make sure the product worked and arrange for exchange if it didn't etc. In just a few minutes i was completely done trimming the hedges along my walkway. This things trimmed up my junipers like a hot knife through butter, and I feel like a total sucker/moron/chump for not spending $30 bucks 15 years ago. This is legit. It has turned hours of boring, annoying work into minutes of a non-issue.

Here is the results. I was worried that it was not large enough or strong enough. It did an outstanding job on this hedge. I’m not a topiary expert but it looks good.

What a great little trimmer! I wanted a trimmer that was easy for a woman to handle, lightweight and not too long of a blade...This is perfect. I just trimmed my first bush, and it does cut up to 5/8 " , with a few passes, less than that just zips thru. It weighs only 4.5 lbs and the blade is 16" .. So glad I picked this one to buy. I am an active 75 yr old woman.

Excellent little hedge trimmer for the $$. Does the job perfectly and trims like a dream. For the price I paid you could not go wrong either!
