Most comfortable and functional strap ever!
The best camera strap i've ever seen or used. It is super comfortable. After walking around with heavy cameras with the standard Canon camera strap, I was annoyed by the weight around my neck and the banging of the camera into my chest with every step. After buying this, I have recommended it to all my photography friends. I carried it over my shoulder sling-style for a month (walking at least 5 miles a day) and my shoulder never got sore. My camera setup weighed several pounds. But the best feature is that it is so easy to pull the camera up from my side and take a photo. It really does slide on whatever material I am wearing. I love it! No latches or any weird gizmos to adjust, just pull the camera up to my face and shoot. When I'm done, put it back to my side. To make it even better, you can quickly release one camera and attach another one with the little anchor mounts. Super nice system.

Well Made, Simple, Functional
The strap is thick and strong. I don't have a fear of the strap failing. The weakest point would be the anchor mounts, which are rated for 200lbs. For the times that the strap gets in your way, it's easy to quickly release it at the camera connection points. The strap adjusters are so simple to use that my 15-year-old had it figured out and adjusted before I had time to explain it or show him. Very intuitive because it's simple. Simple is good. That same 15-year-old was a little annoyed that the anchor mounts (the quick release mechanisms that attach to your camera) can become twisted after reconfiguring the strap around your shoulders/neck a few times. This is normal and a somewhat paltry complaint. He could fix the issue quickly by disconnecting, untwisting, and reconnecting.

Reliable
After tedious and extensive research regarding heavy duty camera straps that include the option of a slide feature, I decided to trust Peak Design. I am positive that my camera will be safe while I carry it around with me hiking the outdoors, wedding shoots, casually walking around...I feel that my baby is safe connected to the unique features Peak Design offers. The reviews written for other slide camera straps had me feeling uneasy because for every slide camera strap, there was a one star review about how a component from the strap broke causing their camera to fall. I thought to myself, is it really worth risking to buy a cheaper camera strap that will be carrying thousands of dollars? Hell no. Peak Deisgn is reliable and sturdy. It’s built with strength and I am comfortable enough to walk around with it. The strap doesn’t hurt my shoulders...it actually makes my heavy equipment a bit lighter. My only concern is about the how the strap was put together...the buckles get caught in my hair if I have it down. Prior to purchasing the strap, I was concerned with the metal buckles hitting the camera while it’s in the bag, but now that I have it, it’s not a big deal. It’s easy enough to clip off the strap and put it in the nice bag it comes with. It’s pricey but I’m trying to keep my baby safe.

Finally found my camera strap
Have used this strap on two moderate hikes so far. I wear it slung over my body on top of my backpack shoulder straps. The wide webbing sits we and doesn’t bite into my neck like the OEM straps did. The dual adjustable sliders on each end make it super easy to tighten up the camera when I am hiking. Which prevents the camera from banging against my lower abdomen. Which was also an issue with other straps. I had never used the PD system and was a little hesitant. However, after the first few minutes of use I was sold. The clicking in is so easy and feels secure. I read some reviews about the metal sliders scratching camera screens when stowed. This might be true for some, but since it is so easy to remove and put back on the strap, I just simply take off the strap when stowing. The strap and supplied bag makes it super easy to stow in a small pocket of my backpack. I like it so much that I bought the PD wrist strap a week later.

Best camera strap in all the land!
I don’t like camera straps...I recently purchased a new and rather heavy dslr camera. It came with a strap, which I quickly set aside. I saw the Peak Design straps on a YouTube video, and fell in love...i decided on the wider version, and received it this week. WOW! Finally...a strap I am in love with after all these years. It is comfortable and very versatile in the field. Very high quality build and i really enjoy the freedom to remove the strap quickly when not needed. Thank you Peak!

BRAVO - Amazing Design and heavy duty
Everyone has done a great job reviewing this product, so I'll be short and sweet. 1. GREAT design. 2. Heavy Duty for all my Canon lenses. 11-24, 16-35, 24-70, 72-200, Fixed 300 and more 3. A case for my strap so it's not flopping all over my bag. I have three cameras, so three bags are a blessing 4. Comes with tools. 5. I bought all the "little extras" like tripod-compatible plates for my Monfroto's and extra insert clips. I often have about $10,000 bucks hanging off my neck and need something for heavy duty use. I'm a professional sports photographer for the Nascar, Sport Fishing, Football and Basketball industry. Buy it and get to work.

By far the best strap on the market
By far the best strap on the market. Quality is evident the moment you open the box. The adjustability is super easy and convenient. There is a bit of bulk to this strap compared to some others, especially the area with the padding. It's difficult to get the camera into the case with the strap attached. That said, I put an extra set of anchors on my Tamrac case and simply attach the strap to that when I'm carrying in the case. I was on the fence between this and the Slide Lite. I have a Sony a77ii and this strap is great with an 18-135 lens. It could be a bit of overkill with a smaller lens but I'm sure I'll be happy with the larger version when carrying all day.

My Favorite Camera Strap So Far
I purchased this strap before shooting a wedding. It worked well. The strap is strong, yet smooth enough to slide quickly over clothing when bringing the camera up to shoot. It comes with two sets of anchor links that allow simple change of camera bodies if wanting to do so on different shoots. (My anchor links are to be replaced without charge due to a concern about strength with those originally shipped. I've yet to receive my replacements, but am hopeful they'll be forthcoming.) Overall, it's my favorite camera strap, and I've tried a lot of them!

Really fantastic sling strap
I have been using an older LumoLabs strap for the past 5 years. It is really great but I got tired of having to detach it from the camera each time I wanted to use my tripod. With this new strap, attaching and detaching is super simple with the little red pucks. The quality feels outstanding and the material slides along my shoulder perfectly to pull the camera up into shooting position. I was a little concerned that the seatbelt type material may dig into my neck but I have not experienced that yet. I will update this review as I get more time with the strap.

Even with a big lens, super comfortable
We use this primarily with the Nikon 200-500 lens, which is a large and heavy lens. Total, our camera setup comes to about 7 pounds. We typically carry this in sling mode, while we go on short hikes, or just walks around birding areas. It's super comfortable, and doesn't seem to have any issues carrying such a large load. Also worth mentioning, the materials are really soft, but durable. This is nice when wearing a t-shirt as it doesn't really bother the skin.
