Great Gift Idea

This drone is the best gift idea for a 13 year old, got it for my 13 yo brother, he couldn't get enough of it first we tried it out indoors to get a feel for it then outdoors it went. The video quality is great and the app connection to see it live is even better. All in all if you have a boy you want to gift go with this he will thank you

I started off with the mini-helicopters, then bought a mini-drone, much smaller than this one. I wanted a new one with a larger footprint and a camera, but was still affordable. Everyone who has shopped around for drones knows the "white one" is around $1,000.00. If you have never flown before, that is not where you want to start; trust me! For about $89 bucks, this is a heck of a value. The camera syncs up to your phone for a live view, although the range is not very far. It has some really nice features such as the automatic take off and landing, stability settings, pitch and yaw adjustments and comes with propeller guards, which are a must if you are new. The guards pop off easily if you crash, but they are designed to do this. Put them back on and you're off again. Another aspect I took into consideration before my purchase was how readily available replacement motors and propellers are. You can find them easily on Amazon and other sites so this was no issue. It flies alright in light winds, but don't take it out if it's greater than about 10 MPH or you'll have problems trying to control the drone. Start with the beginner settings and steering and speeds are greatly reduced until you get the hang of it. As you develop your skills, set it to expert and you'll be ripping around the neighborhood! This product does exactly as described the only thing is the terrible battery life. It will only last about 10 minutes before it goes dead!

A nice compact drone for the price

My son has been wanting a drone so I bought this to give him a chance to learn to fly a drone before we invested in something more expensive. This drone was easy to use out of the box. Getting the video on my phone was very easy. The video was surprisingly clear and was responsive. I saw very little lag. The first flight was a little challenging until he got used to how it flies. Once he was familiar with the controls it was easy to fly. He’s been flying it a lot and he’s still having fun.

This Sky Drone is really Cool

This Sky Drone is really Cool, it came very shortly after I ordered it and was in perfect shape that said it was packaged correctly. I would consider this to be an excellent training Drone to get you ready for a larger more expensive one. my first day with it was a lot of crashes (11) but I then realized what I was doing wrong and now I am doing fine, just remember it is not a large Drone and therefore cannot fly on windy days. I at first could not get the camera to work but again found that to be user error as well. (you have to look link it with your phones Wi-Fi) All in all I am very pleased with this product.

Great drone for the price!

My boyfriend’s fishing buddy has a faaancy schmancy drone that cost over a thousand dollars (actually this is his second because he flies it like a maniac & broke his first one). They take it out on the boat to take pictures of them fly fishing. This triggered my boyfriend to want a drone.. We sure as heck weren’t getting an expensive one with the risks of breaking/crashing it. If you’re careful, it’ll be fine but my bf & his friend aren’t careful… That’s when we found this drone! I figured this would be a good “starter” drone & if he flies it into the river, it’s not the end of the world because it didn’t cost us $1200. My boyfriend took this drone out on Christmas day & it’s really shockingly nice for the price! The android app is user friendly, it’s easy to fly, it doesn’t seem as noisy as other drones I’ve heard (some sound like a swarm of 10,000 bees! Ugh!). The battery life is exactly as advertised (13 min), we don’t have any complaints at all. This is a great little toy for the price!
