Do the job well

I like the way I can slip my hands inside these potholders and easily grab cookware out of the oven. I find that they're not clumsy like oven mitts but more flexible, making it easy to grip with my thumb and fingers as I would a dish off the counter.

I really, really love these. I love the way they look. I love that they are durable yet lightweight. They are so easy to grab off the hook. Underneath they are a black rubbery kind of material - I have added a couple a photos.

Great mitts

I purchased these since I roast a lot of veggies and my old oven mitts didn’t protect my hands with pans over 400 degrees. I have not felt the heat with these gloves. Wish they were not as bulky, but I would still recommend.

GREAT SIZE MITTS

I so love these mitts. I have one other set of silicone over the wrist mitts that I rarely use. They are just too bulky. These are perfect, still useful for high temps, but not difficult to use and grip hot items ftom oven. I would not hesitate to buy as gift for others.

LARGE mitts are Great!

I think it's confusing when Amazon puts reviews for 2 or more items on the same page. My review is for the full size puppet-style oven mitts, not the minis. But the full-size and the mini's are thrown together, which skews the whole stats thing. I know it's because they're sold on the same page; but wish they could somehow categorize the reviews? I did not buy the mini's and so can't speak to them at all; but the complaints about them are mixed in with the reviews of the bother ones. I love the full-size mitts' design--some serious protection with these!

Great if you don't like giant mitts in your kitchen

We don't cook or bake very often, but every once in a while we need to handle a hot pot lid or baking sheet. Full glove-style mitts can get bulky, so these are the perfect mix form and function for what we need. We had a set of neoprene ones in the past, but those started to tear after a short while and I even burned my hand a few times through the tiny holes. Silicone is definitely more durable. We've had these for a few months and they still look like new. Plus, they also double as trivets, which you can't really do with an oven glove. Lots of color options as well to match your kitchen decor.

Worth the price...

good quality, sturdy but still flexible to pick up all lids, casseroles, pans. Have looked at brands in the store and they are not near as nice as these potholders are. Originally, when I saw the price I thought they had better be worth it, and they definitely are. I may order another set...

Goldilocks -- just the right size

These fit my large width hands and are small enough to slip on and off easily. Think enough to avoid heat going through to hands. Mostly cloth so any hot liquids will permeate through to hands but grabing a hot pot or pan out of the oven has worked well so far.

I wish I had these years ago!

I love these mitts! I wish I had found these years ago. Now that I am older and tend to be a little more accident prone, these oven mitts are the perfect answer. I dropped and broke my 8"x8" glass baking dish a few months back because the oven gloves I had did not grip well. These mitts are perfect! They are easy and quick to put on and take off.
