They Look Pretty Good

I wanted to downsize the furniture in my great room and my original bar stools were bulky and took up a lot of space, so I thought these would be less obtrusive. These bar stools look great and are a wonderful alternative to the bulky stools I had. I put them together myself and after struggling with the first one, the second and third were a breeze. As stated, they look good and do the job. My only complaint is that the fabric cover is bunched in the corner of two of them. This isn't a deal breaker and no one else notices, but for me it jumps out at me every time I look at them. But that's just me. Overall, they are great, especially for the price. I would definitely recommend.

Looks great!

Style, color, and material were a perfect match for our kitchen -- came out looking much better than expected. The build was a little tricky since some of the legs really need to be forced into their grooves in the seat. But after wriggling them down, the screws went in easily.

High quality for small spaces!

I purchased the 24" counter stools and they fit perfectly under the kitchen island! The seats are advertised as grey, but they look more khaki/light beige. Beautiful in person! If you are looking for high quality for a small space, look no further.

Great stools, even better customer service!

Ordered 3, one arrived without nailheads. Contacted customer support and they promptly sent a new stool free of charge. They followed-up to ensure the replacement stool arrived and was correct, they even sent a box of Lindt truffles with a card! An incredible family-owned company that actually cares about their product and customer satisfaction. They are a rare find these days. The stools are beautiful and easy to assemble. I will definitely recommend them and be buying many things in the future. 10 out of 5 stars.

Customer service is outstanding

If you want high quality furniture thats going to last a lifetime ,than Nathan James is where you must shop. After purchasing several items from them I can say with certainty that they are a high end supplier of fine quality merchandise at affordable prices. My last purchase of a few bar stools came quickly but I noticed that one didn't look quite right so I called customer service and they replaced it immediately , customer satisfaction is the #1 priority with Nathan James ! Highly recommended.

Great construction and customer service!

We ordered one of these stools to see if we liked it. We received it and we were so impressed with the look and construction of the stool, we ordered 3 more. The stool is great quality. We had an issue with one of the stools, so we emailed Nathan Home (the manufacturer) and they got back to us right away and shipped us a new stool. Their customer service is literally amazing!

I am always going to look at Nathan James products. Nice and sturdy. Very attractive. Easy assembly with simple instructions. I have received many compliments regarding these stools. I have been looking for a stool for over a year before I pulled the trigger on this one. This was the style I wanted. I just couldn’t find the price I was looking for until now. With the right price, I was was skeptical about what the quality would be. You can not go wrong with this purchase. I am so pleased. Customer service is top notch, award winning. I had a minor problem with one piece of hardware. Too minor to fuss over. I did however let them know. Communication was immediate and they went above and beyond to make the situation more than right. This company aims to please. They want happy customers, they made that very clear from the moment I contacted them. I was shy about contacting them about something so minor. Their response was reassuring. They gave it their full attention and rapid correction. You can not go wrong ordering from here.

Great Value. EXCELLENT Customer Service!

Great looking product and outstanding value. I wasn't sure we were going to like these stools, but once I assembled it, we liked it so much we bought two more. The dark gray finish has a lot of brown tone in it, but we still like it. Assembly is not difficult, although it takes some torque to assemble it correctly. If you tighten and re-tighten the screws and bolts during assembly, it will be sturdy enough. And we will absolutely heed the manufacturer's suggestion of checking the tightness periodically. We did have a minor problem in that the seat on first stool was 2" narrower than the two additional ones we ordered. I emailed our situation to Customer Service and received a very prompt reply explaining that upon receiving customer feedback, they had just changed the product to a wider seat. Nathan Home resolved the situation immediately by sending a new stool, so all three match. Customer service is clearly a priority for Nathan Home, and they are outstanding at it. All companies look good when things go well, but I determine the best ones by the way they handle situations when things don't go perfectly. Based on my experience, you can purchase from Nathan Home with confidence; and I would not hesitate in the least to purchase from them again.

Amazing look and even better customer support, questionable craftsmanship.

Edit: After posting original review, I was reached out to by customer service saying that the imperfection in craftsmanship was covered by their policy and immediately shipped new replacements. I was very impressed by their initiative and definitely do recommend dealing with them in the future if any issues arise! Original Review: The assembly of these chairs is impossible because the pieces do not fit. We had to manually chisel and file down the wooden pieces that insert into the seat part. It didn't take long, but it did make us question the sturdiness of the final product. However - once we put the chairs together, they were amazing. Very comfortable and beautiful! I recommend highly if you have basic wood working skills or at the very minimum knowledge of working with a chisel!

I bought 3 because I loved it

Although the shipping was fast and great, the quality of the products awesome, I think I like the instructions the best. They are funny, human, and show a great and personal touch. Literally made me laugh out loud, which was a great contribution to my moving experience. "Before you start", step 1, is almost like they know me.
