More than plenty for whay I needed at a great price! Good quality and food safe. I made butter/oil for edibles and needed to strain out plant matter, worked perfectly and held together after rigorous wringing out, twisting, and compression. Held up to high temps as well, ~240°F Recommend and will buy again!

I bought this to make Greek yogurt at the recipe blogger's recommendation, and that's all I've used it for. I haven't tried any other cheese cloth or method for that, so I can't compare its effectiveness. This does the job. I'm happy with it, and I'd recommend it for yogurt-making. I hand-wash and re-use it, and it holds up nicely. The edges have frayed a little, I usually lose a few threads every time I wash it, and it's starting to look a bit thin in the middle, but it's still faithfully serving its purpose after a few dozen batches.

Love this cheese cloth! Soooo much better then the kind I bought at our local craft store! Will buy again! I use for art journaling and mixed media texture and this was perfect!

Heavy duty, washable, no funky out of the bag smell, and it really is ultra fine. A single layer put inside a mesh strainer and my agua frescas came out perfect. As for actual cheesemaking, it took 50lbs of pressure for a couple of hours and had no holes or tears after it was washed.

I just made ricotta with this bad boy. (From this AMAZING book I cannot recommend enough https://www.amazon.com/Food-Lab-Cooking-Through-Science/dp/0393081087/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1506902000&sr=8-1&keywords=j+kenji+lopez+alt) After washing and hanging to dry, it looks great and ready for another use. Can't beat that for the price.

I use these for straining homemade ghee and bone broth. I fold them into four layers and they are still big enough to line my strainer. Two sides are selvages and won't fray, but the other two sides are raw edges, so I squared them off and hemmed them by hand. This will no doubt make them more durable. They wash up very nicely. Without unfolding them, I shake out any strained out items, then run hot water through from the back side to rinse out as much fat and debris as I can. A squirt of dish soap and a gentle rub to work up a lather, then rinse thoroughly. I then unfold them and hang them to dry. With careful use, these will last me a long time.

My wife loved using this to make homemade yogurt. It strained the whey perfectly and made a great batch. It can be cleaned pretty easily, too. If you are a cook or kitchen enthusiast, this is definitely something to add to your toolbox.

I use a lot of cheesecloth for cooking so it’s important that I have good quality cloth. I’ve used both good and bad. This one is on the top of my list now. Perfect material. Thin enough where the food can breathe and marinate without turning into a burnt mess and durable to have handled Thanksgiving turkey. It’s a good amount for the cost. I’m sold on this one!

After being truly inspired by a bunch of diy food blogs I had the opportunity of reading last month, I felt ready to take on more DIY projects, and really amp up my pantry storage. With this, I decided to start by making my own cheeses. So, what did I need to start my fromagerie? I bought this 1 X Organic Liquid Vegetable Rennet, 2oz.,Citric Acid Powder - Ultra Fine Pure Powdered Crystals - Natural Preservative Food Grade Quality (16 oz) , and our Regency Cheesecloth here. After following the instructions very carefully, I…failed. I actually didn’t follow the instructions carefully, I completely made a misstep in the amount of both rennet and citric acid that I was supposed to put in, resulting in a goopy mess. I tried again, this time basically writing the instruction on my hands so that I wouldn’t mess up, and wouldn’t you know it—it came out pretty damn great! I can’t believe that not only was it edible, it also tasted really good. It was amazing. I started with ricotta, but feeling confident from my first cheese I then moved on to mozzarella. Success! I can’t believe it, but I did it, and the cheesecloth worked perfectly well. Now, I’ll be honest dear Amazon readers, I’m actually not going to be open a fromagerie so now I have all of these tools to make cheese, but little passion for the making itself. That said, I found other uses for my products. Well, kind of. The rennet: no chance, I haven’t found any use for it, someone please comment on this post and give me a use for it. The cheesecloth: so many cooking things. Anytime I need to take some of the liquid out of something, I use my cheesecloth. Basically, for any kind of filter you could need in the kitchen, my cheesecloth works as it. Now, the piece de resistance; the citric acid. The citric acid has so many uses that, finding more uses is actually becoming one of my obsessions. I (will) use it for preserves, I use it for my fruit salads, I (will one day) use it for making bath bombs, I even am going to try to clean my dishwasher with it this weekend. The brand is pretty good for the cheesemaking, as it leaves it with a really clean taste, as opposed to another brand my friend tried that she said gave it a funny aftertaste. Okay, gigantic monologue over, I recommend all of these products, and I hope you enjoy making ze cheese!

I have used this for both I made and it works great, nothing is getting through this. It really is ultra fine I had nothing but broth get through it. I have not used it on anything else at this time so I am unsure of how it would work with other things.
